Last week, I went 15-10 against the spread during Week 13 of the college football season.

I like this year’s slate of championship games. I expect most of these games will be tight and the point spreads reflect that. There are a couple double-digit point spreads, but you expected larger point spreads in the Purdue/Michigan and LSU/Georgia games.

2022 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread last week.

Another week, another near-.500 week for ole’ Sweetbob. I need to snap this streak and hopefully it will happen this weekend.

It was nice to not have a load of games on Thursday again. I really had to slam through all of my weekly content on Tuesday. I like to take my time on the picks, but it couldn’t happen during a Thanksgiving week.

I had a late start to this week’s content as I went to an All Elite Wrestling signing on Tuesday in Indianapolis. It was cool to meet my very nice, very evil hero Danhausen.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 13

After a week without any teams out on bye, we have two teams out this week.

The Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers are the only teams out this week. Those squads aren’t loaded with startable talent, so may only need low-level streaming options this week.

I know the need for streaming candidates becomes lower as the season progresses, but you should always be looking for upgrades and handcuffs. There are always a few surprise fantasy breakouts during the fantasy playoffs.

We have some big rivalry games this week. The Michigan vs Ohio State game will get all the oxygen this week, but there are some big games over Friday and Saturday this week.

2022 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

I need a big week after back-to-back 7-6-1 weeks. I’ve traditionally been very strong on Thanksgiving, but we will see. One of these years I’ll go back and figure out my Thanksgiving record. I’m writing this up late-Wednesday night, so there isn’t time to do that this year.

We are starting to see more double-digit point spreads, which happens more and more from late-November through the end of the season.

Can the Chiefs cover a 15-point spread over the Rams?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 12

We finally don’t have to deal with any byes this week. You shouldn’t have to deal with holes in your lineup, unless you have a recently-injured player like TE Kyle Pitts or WR Wan’Dale Robinson.

You will have an awkward issue of having three games on Thursday. There are some injury question marks that play on Sunday, so should you roll the dice or play it safe by playing your backup that plays on Thanksgiving?

Now that the Niners offense is healthy, is QB Jimmy Garoppolo a must-start going forward?

Should you sit Packers QB Aaron Rodgers against the Eagles?

2022 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 12-12-1 against the spread during Week 11 of the college football season.

I’ve had three-straight weeks of near-.500 results, so I need to snap this streak of averageness.

We are in the ‘rivalry game’ section of the year. Schools often have more than just one rival, so the next two weeks are big games for most schools, regardless of their records.

Can USC head coach Lincoln Riley get his first rivalry win against UCLA?

2022 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

It was a nice rebound after the previous week’s implosion. It wasn’t a fantastic outcome, but I was glad to come out (slightly) ahead again.

We don’t have an early European game this week, but we will see a Monday night game in Mexico. I can deal with that much better than the usual garbage we see in those games overseas.

Injuries are hurting a few fantasy starters right now. Bill QB Josh Allen is dealing with an elbow injury and Raiders QB Derek Carr is missing a few of his favorite targets.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 10 of the college football season.

I’ve had a few near-.500 weeks in a row, but I’m feeling pretty damn good about this week’s slate of games.

This week lacks a huge marquee game, but there are still solid games on the schedule. I’m looking forward to TCU/Texas and Florida State/Syracuse.

2022 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-8-2 against the spread last week. It was by far my worst betting week in many years.

It was a brutal outcome after being on a three-week tear. You just have to shake it off, figure out what you missed and don’t let it happen again.

We don’t have a London game this week, but we have one in freaking Germany! I don’t know how I missed this when it was announced months ago. I had no clue they were expanding their normal England games and including various countries across the European Union.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

We are back to only four teams on bye this week, but the teams are loaded with normal flex options and solid quarterbacks.

The Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens are all out.

Every bye team, except the Jets, welcome this bye week. They are dealing with injuries to key players. It’s another week for QB Mac Jones and the Ravens backfield to fully heal up.
