We are starting with our college football picks with Week 2 of the season. We used to always do this, but changed it a few seasons ago. No matter how much research you’ve done, you’re still going into the season rather blind. We have now seen what all these teams look like this year.

All eyes are on the Ohio State at Texas game on Saturday night. Texas QB Archie Manning did not play as advertised last year. If he can knock off the Buckeyes, he could get back into the #1 pick conversation again.

Can Texas defend homefield against Ohio State?

The betting picks are coming back!

I wasn’t able to keep up with my NFL and College Football picks last season. I was having numbness in my arms and hands, and was taking a long time to write and increased pain. It was the first time in over a decade that I had to stop for any reason. I underwent major neck surgery in January to fuse my C2 to T1 vertebrae, and it fixed a lot of issues. It was an awful recovery, but I am able to feel my arms and hands again.

The betting picks are coming back, but they won’t be the 10,000+ word content every week. I am behind on my other ventures and don’t have the 12 hours a week to dedicate to break down games and explain my picks. I still plan on writing on a smaller level some weeks, but it will mostly be a bare bones post with my weekly picks.

Thank you for sticking with me through this garbage. I will have my NFL picks up early evening on Wednesday.

2025 NCAA Football – College Football Playoff – 2nd Round

I went 3-1 against the spread in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

The first-round of the College Football Playoff had a pair of fun outings, and two games that were out-of-hand against non-Power Four teams. We won’t have those kind of talent disparities going forward, since all eight teams are battle-tested.

Can the Big Ten have a big showing in the second round?

2025 NCAA Football – College Football Playoff – 1st Round

I usually completely ignore all the bowl games, because it doesn’t work with a weekly pick format. I have enjoyed the College Football Playoff and it works with what I do.

We have some fun match-ups in FBS conference championship games. I personally can’t wait to watch Indiana and Ohio State face off in Indianapolis. I grew up in Indiana and spent nearly a decade in Columbus, Ohio.

Can either of these non-Power Four teams upset their opponent in the first round?

2025 NCAA Football – Conference Championship Betting Picks vs Spread

Due to server maintenance, I was unable to post my football betting picks last week.

We have some fun match-ups in FBS conference championship games. I personally can’t wait to watch Indiana and Ohio State face off in Indianapolis. I grew up in Indiana and spent nearly a decade in Columbus, Ohio.

I assume most of the country have Georgia facing Alabama as their most anticipated game this week.

2025 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week 12 of the college football season, I went 12-13 against the spread.

This week feels like a the calm before the storm. We have a few rivalry games this week, but those really start to ramp up next week. We just have a lot of teams finishing up their conference schedules.

Can Texas rebound after last week’s blowout loss against Georgia?

2025 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week eleven of the college football season, I went 15-10 against the spread.

It’s the time of year when the top teams can struggle against familiar conference opponents. We nearly saw an upset last week when Indiana traveled to Penn State. The Hoosiers won that game by the tip of a wide receiver’s toe. Also, BYU fell after losing their first game of the year.

Can Indiana stay perfect against Wisconsin?

2025 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week ten of the college football season, I went 15-10 against the spread.

I’ve been on a hot streak in recent weeks. I have found value in some of the mid-tier SEC teams, and riding the top teams in the Big Ten. That strategy has been solid, but it could be time to pivot soon.

The ACC has been a difficult conference to handicap this year. All the top teams are beatable week-to-week. Virginia, Georgia Tech and Pitt are the top-three teams in the standings, which would have been surprising at the start of the year.

2025 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week nine of the college football season, I went 17-8 against the spread.

As we head into November, we are still seeing a lot of non-hyped, conference games on the schedule.

The SEC still has some hard-to-predict marquee matchups, like Vanderbilt at Texas. No one would have thought this game would be must-see when they scheduled it a couple years ago.

Can Indiana continue to stay perfect and beat Maryland in College Park?

2025 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week eight of the college football season, I went 14-11 against the spread.

The big marquee games appear to be a bit underwhelming this week. It’s not surprising, as teams tend to save their bigger games for November. Teams are just crossing off mandated conference match-ups, which can be dangerous.

Keep an eye out for some upsets. Underdogs can sneak up and pick off some contenders during the doldrums of late-October college football.

Can Indiana continue to stay perfect and beat UCLA in Bloomington?

In week seven of the college football season, I went 14-10-1 against the spread.

The Indiana Hoosiers had a coming-out party last year, but they were still getting no respect from the sportsbooks. After last week’s upset win at Oregon, they see their first bloated betting line of the year. Can they cover it against Michigan State?

In week six of the college football season, I went 10-15 against the spread.

Going into the season, the Red River Shootout looked to be a can’t miss game with a pair of talented quarterbacks, John Mateer and Arch Manning, but a lot has changed since the start of the year. It’s currently unknown if Mateer will play, and Manning has been very underwhelming.

Can the Indiana Hoosiers hang with one of the best teams in the Big Ten, the Oregon Ducks?
