Had a rough week, but hopefully we can bounce-back and string together a few winning weeks in-a-row. I’ve been pretty darn good with my college football picks, but need to get it together with the NFL.

The Colts fired their long-time general manager after losing to the lowly Titans. If they don’t right the ship in a hurry, they could be sellers by the trade deadline.

Can the Kansas City Chiefs win outright on the road against the Seahawks?

2026 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8 in the fifth week of the 2026 NFL season.

We saw a couple unexpected blow-outs last week. The Bears were able to not only tread water, but they were excelling with their backup quarterbacks. That ended last week with a big loss. It appears that QB Caleb Williams is on track to play this week.

I think the Commanders is one more embarrassing moment away from firing their head coach and becoming sellers at the deadline. They may already be sellers, but last week’s goof that turn into a tie should have been a fireable offense.

Can the Cleveland Browns keep it close at home against the Baltimore Ravens?

I went 9-7 in the fourth week of the 2026 NFL season.

I finally got my first dub against the spread on a Thursday night game this year. It was long overdue.

Not that we are roughly a quarter of the season under out belts, we are starting to see which teams are better than expected – and some stinkers. The Jaguars have been a nice surprise so far. They have been a streaky team in the past. Let’s hope they can keep this up.

I went 7-9 in the third week of the 2026 NFL season.

I think I’m 0-3 on Thursday Night Football games. I have historically done very well on those – not this year.

The Atlanta Falcons played pretty darn good with QB Michael Penix back. They face a much improved Saints team on Monday Night Football this week.

Caleb Williams had to sit out last week do to a hamstring injury that occurred in Week 2. Case Keenum turned back the clock and was impressive in last week’s win.

How will the Giants look without QB Jaxson Dart?

I’m excited for the start of football season. I think this will be a fun year.

Are you prepared for the season? It feels awfully sudden, but it always feels that way for me.

This will be a make-it-or-break-it year for many current quarterbacks. The next draft is absolutely stacked with quality quarterback prospects. Which quarterbacks will have a Daniel Jones-like season to resurrect their careers?

2025 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-5-1 in Week 15 of the NFL football season.

We have three games on Christmas Day this year. The NFL is putting the screws to the NBA, who once dominated the holiday.

I am fighting my way back to avoid my first losing season in all the years I’ve been posting my picks against the spread. Last week’s games helps close the deficit to just three games. That can easily be made up with two more of the regular season and the playoffs left.

We have a pair of new third-string quarterbacks taking the ball this week. The Commanders and Chiefs will both have new faces under center.

Can the Bears clinch the NFC North?

2025 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-8 in Week 14 of the NFL football season.

I was extraordinarily late posting my picks, so I was unable to post my Thursday Night Football pick in time for the game.

We have some strange teams battling for their playoff lives right now. The Chiefs, Ravens and Bills could see their playoff hopes take a huge dive with losses this week. Those teams are usually on cruise control for their division crown, or at least have a lead to do so.

2025 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Due to some server maintenance issues, I missed my first week of football picks in over a decade. I hope you guys had a profitable Thanksgiving week.

I think there is some value in this week’s NFL betting lines. We have a few hot teams that aren’t getting much respect. The Bears are on fire, but are nearly a touchdown underdog against the Packers.

There are some good teams facing uphill battles to earn a playoff spot. Can the 6-6 Kansas City Chiefs make a run?

2025 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-8 against the spread during the tenth week of the 2025 NFL season.

I had a rough start to the games on Sunday, but thankfully, I nearly ran the table after that to keep myself from a disastrous week.

There are some fun games on the schedule, with only two teams out on bye.

The best game could be the Seahawks at Rams, which will help secure the leader in the NFC West.

2025 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-7 against the spread during the seventh week of the 2025 NFL season.

We have a light schedule this week with six teams on a bye week.

There are quite a few games dealing with notable injuries at quarterback that could affect betting lines the closer we get to Sunday.

The major injury status to keep an eye on is Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, who just returned to practice, but as of Thursday morning, his status is up in the air for their game against the Bears.

I went 6-8 against the spread during the fifth week of the 2025 NFL season.

I started out very rough with the early games, but was able to run the table on the afternoon games.

Last week, we saw a lot of outright upsets against perennial powerhouses. The Eagles, Bills and Chiefs all went down, which probably hasn’t happened in the same week in a long time.

2025 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread during the fourth week of the 2025 NFL season.

I started out pretty rough with the early games, but nearly caught up with the late games on Sunday. I split the Monday night games, so I came up a game short of .500.

This is the start of the bye weeks, so we have four teams on bye. We also have a lame early-Sunday game in London, which have largely been dull outings.
