2018 NFL Wild Card Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished the year 136-105-15 against the spread during the NFL regular season.

Since there aren’t many games in the playoffs, I also pick over/under point totals as well.

A few of these Wild Card teams were big underdogs to even make the postseason. The Bills needed a near-miracle and found themselves in the playoffs for the first time since 1999. Buffalo fans are donating money to Bengals QB Andy Dalton’s charity to thank him for his last-second touchdown pass to knock the Ravens out of playoff contention.

Is Buffalo just happy to be in the playoffs or are they a real threat to knockoff Jacksonville?

We pick every NFL Wild Card Weekend game against the spread.

2017 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Week 16 was a rough one for us. We took a couple risks that didn’t pay off. I honestly thought the Browns would play much better against the Bears and that the Lions would show up to play against the lowly Bengals.

Week 17 is full of landmines since some last-minute changes could mean players end up resting and taking the week off. Keep track of possible playoff outcomes and what their head coaches are saying this week.

Every game this week is on Sunday, so this could be a rare time to completely waste your money and put a few jellybeans on a 16-team parlay…which would have odds somewhere in-between astronomical and impossible. I don’t recommend anyone ever do this unless it’s a gag and is only a few bucks.

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 17 of the 2017 NFL season.

2017 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Even though I missed the Thursday game (again), I still finished the week 9-5-2. I forgot to update last week’s post since there wasn’t a line for last week’s Tampa Bay game at the time I wrote the post. I marked it up as a tie, just to keep things on track with past year-to-year win totals.

I missed on a few underdogs with both the Browns and Seahawks performing better than the lines would suggest.

There are a lot of close point spreads this week. There is only one double-digit game and the rest are at or under a touchdown. This could be a difficult week to handicap.

Another speed bump we must navigate is the fact that the lion’s share of the games aren’t division games, so they are first-time meetings.

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 14 of the 2017 NFL season.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 14

This could be the last week to get your team into the playoffs.

Even if you feel like your lineup is solid, I still recommend streaming defenses, kickers and flex options go week-to-week. It’s really hard to win in fantasy these days if you don’t tinker with your lineup every week to some extent.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 14 of the 2017 NFL season…and enjoy our weird MS Paint masterpiece of New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson.

I want to explain what I mean by “sit” and “start.” Of course you are going to start some of the guys i say to bench this week, because you probably used high draft picks or a lot of money in an auction for them. My ‘sit’ players are guys I am just not completely sold that they will have good weeks. If you have a guy that you are on the fence about, maybe this will help you pick between the players.

2017 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I managed to not take a loss last Thursday…because it was a push. I hate Thursday games and I’ve pulled out my hair watching those games. They are just poorly played and have been difficult to handicap.

I finished last week .500, but it’s time to have a big week. I feel pretty good about the lines this week. There’s only one double-digit point spread, which is pretty rare this late in the season.

There are fourteen games on the schedule for the last week. There will be sixteen games a week starting next weekend.

Can the Patriots (-6.5) cover on the West Coast?

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 11 of the 2017 NFL season.

2017 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-2 against the spread last week. I am due for a big week and hopefully it happens this week.

There are thirteen games on the schedule with six teams on bye.

Last week’s slate of games were kind of disappointing. There were a lot of games I was excited to see, but there were too many non-competitive games for my taste.

There are some whopper double-digit spreads this week. There’s even one in the London game, which could be a tough cover for the Vikings.

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 8 of the 2017 NFL season.

Early Favorites to Win Super Bowl 52

The NFL regular season is (almost) at the halfway point. Most of the favorites are right where we expected them to be and few underdogs are in favorable situations. Also, tough early season schedules have left a few good teams with records of .500 or less. Which teams are legit contenders to win Super Bowl LII and which ones are lucky to still be in the conversation?

Betting odds to make the Super Bowl look a lot different than they did this preseason. Injuries and ‘out of nowhere’ efforts by rookies have scattered preseason Super Bowl favorites all over the board.

It appears the AFC, is once again, is in the hands of the New England Patriots. They manhandled the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football to prove they will not let go of their spot on the mountaintop.

The NFC is less clear with three or four teams neck-and-neck. I’d put The Eagles ahead of the rest of the pack after winning strong on Monday Night Football.

2017 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Your boy got roughed up a bit last week. I went 6-8 and a few games were pretty ugly. I was doing well this year, but I didn’t adjust a few of my rankings. It didn’t help that injuries to quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Jameis Winston probably decided two of those games.

There are fifteen games on the schedule this week. The only two teams that are on bye are the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions

I may have had a down week, but I did accomplish something…I broke my Thursday Night Football streak of ineptitude. The Eagles bailed me out with their cover at Carolina.

Can the Falcons (+3.5) win in their Super Bowl rematch against the Patriots?

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 7 of the 2017 NFL season.
