2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 2

After Week 1, are you happy with your team or are you contemplating throwing it in the garbage?

There were a handful of hyped up fantasy studs who failed to impress in Week 1 (I’m looking at you, Cam Akers). It’s hard to dump a player after just one game, but you should always be looking to improve your team. The waiver wire will be crazy and I want to give you a few options to target this week.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hand) suffered an injury last week and will miss six-to-eight games. Which quarterback should you pick up as a replacement?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Jameis Winston of the New Orleans Saints.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 2 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 12-12-1 against the spread during Week 1 of the college football season.

I felt good about my picks, but got unlucky when a few 50/50 balls didn’t go my way and it affected a couple scores. I feel that my personal preseason rankings was fairly accurate, but they had to be adjusted after Week 1.

Texas better hope that my photo streak ends, because the last few college football players I featured in the cover photo have failed to cover against the spread. I feel pretty good that Quinn Ewers can keep it relatively close against Alabama.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 2 of the 2022-23 NCAA Football season (September 10th, 2022).

2022 NFL Week 1 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Are you ready to place your bets?

I went 155-129-6 against the spread last season. I hope this season will be a little less erratic with pandemic issues. We’ve had a good run of late, so let’s hope a new variant doesn’t pop up and screw up a bunch of games this Fall.

There was a huge turnover with starting quarterbacks this offseason. A lot of new faces in new places. Will any of these veteran quarterbacks turn back the clock and play like their peak?

How will Trey Lance, Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence fare in Year 2?

Can Tua Tagovailoa take a big leap and lead the Dolphins to a successful year?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 1

I’m so happy to have fantasy football back!

Hopefully we can make it throughout the season without having to track all of your fantasy team’s temperatures and testing statuses.

We have a lot of new faces in new places and the biggest is probably the cover boy this week, Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson. He is expected to have a big year, and uh, let’s ride!

The Bills and Rams kickoff the season on Thursday Night Football. Are there any sleepers on those teams this year?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Russell Wilson of the Denver Broncos.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 1 Betting Picks Against Spread

College Football season is here, guys!

This year feels a little more like college football is officially back from the ‘Pandemic Era.’ I could be speaking a little early, but we aren’t inundated with player news surrounding testing results. It feels nice and I can’t wait to watch so many of these games.

We once again saw a ton of quarterbacks change teams thanks to the transfer portal. You may want to research who will be quarterbacking your team this season, because it could have changed. Quarterbacks like JT Daniels (West Virginia) and Dillon Gabriel (Oklahoma) could be game-changing additions.

Will Ohio State cover against Notre Dame?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 1 of the 2022-23 NCAA Football season (September 3rd, 2022).

2022 College Football: All-Name Team

This is one of my favorite posts to do every year, but due to all the knowns about the college football season at this point last year, we didn’t compile a list. We are happy to bring this back this year and debut some new names.

What makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We went through ever single name and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

2022 NCAA Tournament: Which Bubble Teams Didn’t Get In?

There are 358 Division-I teams in college basketball eligible for the postseason 2022 NCAA Tournament. Obviously, not every team can get an invite.

These teams were all on the bubble, but failed to make it into the field of 68.

There were a few upsets in conference tournaments this year. Many deserving teams were left out of the field of 68.  I was surprised a few times during the Selection Show, but I feel good about the field overall.

How many SEC bubble teams missed the cut?

Here is a list of bubble teams which had their bubble burst.

BYU Cougars (22-10) – The Cougars needed to win the West Coast Conference tournament to get in. There were just too many good-to-great teams in their conference and the WCC weren’t going to get four teams in the Big Dance.

Super Bowl 56 – Betting Picks Against Spread & Prop Bets

Super Bowl 56 is this Sunday and it’s a prop bets smorgasbord.

I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.

I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.

Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the juice isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.

I picked out some of the most popular prop bets for Super Bowl 55 (or Super Bowl LV for Roman numeral fans)…and we also pick the game against the spread.
