Super Bowl 55 – Betting Picks Against Spread & Prop Bets

Super Bowl 55 is this Sunday and it’s a prop bets smorgasbord.

I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.

I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.

Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the juice isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.

I picked out some of the most popular prop bets for Super Bowl 55 (or Super Bowl LV for Roman numeral fans)…and we also pick the game against the spread.

New UK Gambling Laws From October 2021

A new gambling bill is set to be unveiled in the UK. But it seems like it’s all bad news with this one. What is the situation with gambling legislation? The government is taking a close look at UK gambling laws to see if they can be tightened and even pushed towards the American model.

The UK government have introduced a myriad of new laws that will revolutionize the entire online gambling sector, but it is unclear if they will be enacted. However, the law will presumably force companies operating in the regulated market to adapt their operations to offer more transparency and better customer support. What’s set not to change, though is the use of free bet offers to entice new customers and other welcome offers are staying in place for now anyway.

2021 NFL Conference Championship – Betting Picks Against Spread

These are the most-competitive NFL Conference Championship games in a long, long time.

Even though both point spreads are just a field goal, they will be very different games. The Bucs vs Packers game will pit two Super Bowl-winning, veteran quarterbacks against each other. The Bills vs Chiefs game have two young quarterbacks that could meet each other in the postseason many times this decade.

Will Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes recover from last week’s concussion and play against the Bills?

Can Bucs QB Tom Brady cover against the Packers and earn another Super Bowl appearance?

What You Want Out Of A Good Casino

If you have a little cash to spend and you’re feeling particularly lucky, then what better way to cut loose with a few friends than to hit it up at a big, bright, and beautiful casino? However, if you’ve been burned before, then you will know that not all establishments are exactly the same. Here, we’re going to look at how to make sure you choose a place that’s going to be fun, safe, and, above all else, fair.

Choose one with games that you enjoy

If you’re a newbie player, then you might not have much in the way of opinions when it comes to games. Take a look at some of the casino game options that are out there, from slots to blackjack to roulette and so on. Make sure that the casino you’re visiting has those games in the variety and quality that you like so that you’re at least not bored by playing games that don’t do anything for you.

2021 NFL Divisional Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-5-1 against the spread and with over/under point totals last week.

We are back to a four-game playoff schedule this week. It’s unfortunate that we won’t have an extra game on Nickelodeon this week. I really enjoyed their presentation of the Bears/Saints game on Sunday.

The Packers and Chiefs will be fresh this week since they benefitted from the revised playoff schedule this season. They were the only two teams in the NFL that had a first-round bye this year.

There is a lot of experience at quarterback in this year’s divisional round, but we do have some young quarterbacks like Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, who were still playing in college just a couple years ago.

Can Drew Brees cover against Tom Brady this week?

2021 NFL Wild Card Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished the year 141-108-6 against the spread during the NFL regular season.

We have two extra playoff games this year due to the added playoff spots due to some rule changes in this unique season…we will even have a game on Nickelodeon (Bears at Saints), which itself is odd and unique.

There are only two games that have point spreads larger than a touchdown. That’s usually what happens Wild Card Weekend.

Can the Washington Football Team keep it close against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

We pick every NFL Wild Card Weekend game against the spread.

2020 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Mason Rudolph dottedI went 8-8 against the spread last week.

I would have been above .500 last week, but Washington decided to hold off QB Alex Smith for another week. I wouldn’t have laid a single penny on Dwayne Haskins if I had known he was getting the start last week.

There are a lot of different potential playoff scenarios this week. I tried to mention every single option to give you an idea which teams have something left to play for in Week 17.

Can the Steelers backups keep it close the Browns?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 17 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-6-1 against the spread last week.

I’ve been strong the last few weeks and made up for some average weeks to start the season.

It’s time to start looking up certain playoff scenarios and if a team has any motivation to rest their starters. I don’t see of that this week since there is only one first-round bye in this year’s playoffs, and neither has been clinched in either conference.

Can the Steelers stop their slide and cover against the Colts on Sunday?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 16 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 16 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11 against the spread last week.

I would normally title this week’s college football betting picks as ‘Conference Championship Week’, but due to COVID-19, there are a handful of other games that schools are making up due to them being postponed earlier this season.

Conference championship games can be tricky for teams that are in the driver’s seat for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Teams have been caught overlooking their conference opponents in the past.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick all 22 college football games against the spread in Week 16 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (December 19th, 2020).

2020 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-5 against the spread last week.

I was actually 8-1 against the spread at one point, but the late games on Sunday afternoon/evening made the record a little less remarkable. I’m still happy with the overall outcome. I also benefitted from the late safety in the Ravens/Browns game.

There are a handful of double-digit point spreads this week. We have been able to avoid a lot of those this year, but December is always filled with some lopsided point spreads, so it is expected at this point.

Can the Dolphins cover the spread at home against the Patriots?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 15 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 15 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-10 against the spread last week.

There have already been a handful of games cancelled due to COVID-19, and I expect many more will fall into that category before Saturday.

I was really looking forward to the now-cancelled Indiana/Purdue and Ohio State/Michigan games, but for very different reasons. I wanted to see more from IU’s backup quarterback and also see Ohio State blowout a bad Michigan team.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 15 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (December 12th, 2020).

2020 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread last week.

Thursday night games are back this week. I enjoyed not having one last week and actually found to prefer Tuesday night games instead.

The Steelers were the last undefeated team to fall. They lost to Washington and have another tough game this week when they travel to Buffalo.

There are a few games this week that will be the second meetings between division rivals. I try not to take a ton of information from those games as teams make adjustments and it’s difficult to beat a division foe twice in a year. I also don’t follow that advice for at least one of my picks this week.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 14 of the 2020 NFL season.
