Week 12 Fantasy Football: Making the Best of the Bye

There are four teams on bye during Week 12, the Arizona Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Minnesota Vikings.

So that means you can forget about starting Patrick Mahomes or Kirk Cousins at QB this week both on the shortlist at different betting sites for favorites to be MVP. If you haven’t checked your lineup yet and you have significantly impactful players from any of those four teams – not that there is anyone significant on the Cardinals other than Murray– you best weight your options. Do you have a suitable replacement already on your bench or should you hunt the waiver wire and available players?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11-1 against the spread with my college football picks last week.

I really started out strong, but the late games last Saturday brought me back down to Earth.

There are some big games this weekend. The Penn State/Ohio State game could be viewed as a play-in game for the College Football Playoff. There are also some big games in the Big 12 that could weed out some of the teams for the Big 12 Championship game in a couple weeks.

Can Ohio State cover such a large point spread against Penn State?

2019 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

After a rough Week 10, I rebounded with a strong 11-3 record against the spread last week.

There are some big games this weekend. The Cowboys/Patriots game will be a must-watch along with the Ravens/Rams game on Monday Night Football. It will be a big litmus test for Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. If he can perform like he has all season against a tough defense like the Rams, you might as well give him the MVP trophy after the game.

Can the 49ers hold off the Packers and ruin Green Bay QB Aaron Rodger’s homecoming?

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 12

This is the final week of byes, so we will have a full schedule of sixteen games starting next week.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Chargers are on bye this week. It’s a pretty quarterback-heavy group, so you might be looking for a quarterback to stream this week while your starting QB has the week off.

Some of the top fantasy quarterbacks have tough matchups this week. Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson faces the Rams, New England’s Tom Brady faces the Cowboys and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers faces the 49ers.

Toy Crazy: Winter 2020 WWE Funko Releases

It’s been awhile since I posted about upcoming Funko releases. I think I may have skipped the last series, but the upcoming toys to be released in early-2020 are must-haves.

We have reviewed a lot of Mattel’s WWE Elite figures, but Funko has also released solid figures in the past. I’m a big collector and you can see some of my collection on my Instagram, @vintagetoybob.

This upcoming set has a couple chase figures and exclusives that can be found at Amazon and Wal-Mart. We will also see the first Hulk Hogan Funko figure since his racist remarks were made public years ago.

2019 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 16-8-1 against the spread with my college football picks last week.

I’ve been doing really well with my college football picks lately, which makes up for the last two stinker weeks with my NFL picks.

There are still a couple undefeated teams out there that could really shake up the College Football Playoff. Minnesota and Baylor are definitely two teams no one thought would be undefeated at this point in the season.

Can Minnesota survive against Iowa to stay unbeaten?

2019 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I really don’t want to talk about last week. I’d rather just skip straight to my stellar college football picks, but since I’m transparent as hell, I was only 3-8-2 last week. It was my worst NFL betting week in more than a decade. It was just one of those weeks where nothing went right and my reads were off.

I feel much better about this week’s picks. There were some upsets last week and Vegas got the best of many of us, so you can’t hang your head about it.

There are a few starting quarterbacks that are coming back from injuries this week. Can Nick Foles get the win in his return for the Jaguars?

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 11

There are only four teams on bye this week.

The Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants and the Seattle Seahawks all have the week off. These teams aren’t nearly stocked full of fantasy studs like last week’s group of bye teams.

This week’s group of starting quarterbacks is pretty shocking if you use Week 1 eyeballs. There are so many backup quarterbacks that have either gained the starting job due to injury or just overall ineptitude by the previous quarterback.

This could be the first week of the college football season that the weather could affect many games. It’s supposed to be cold and windy throughout the Midwest and Northeast this weekend. Please keep an eye on weather reports that could change the possible handicapping of games.

2019 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I had a rough 5-8-1 record last weekend.

Pretty bad outcome with last week’s picks. Not only that, but I’ve been dealing with either carpal tunnel syndrome or an arthritic thumb, which makes it pretty darn annoying to type or even play video games (I bought NBA 2k20 recently and it is collecting dust by my Xbox One). I have to wear a dumb brace until I get it checked out further later this week.

Enough about my woes, it’s time to turn my luck around and get back on track with my NFL picks against the spread. Let’s do this!

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

We have a whopping six teams on bye this week.

The Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans have the week off. There are a few fantasy studs in that group that will be hard to replace.

You could be a tough position if you’re missing a few of your starters while on bye. You may need to trust a player you’ve never played before, so do your research and pay attention to the injury reports during the week.

2019 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 12-13 against the spread with my college football picks last week.

I really need to have back-to-back solid weeks with my college football picks. I’ll have a great week that is followed by one that’s around .500. I feel pretty good about my picks this week and to get back on track.

There are a handful of marquee games this weekend. Georgia at Florida might be the most relevant in the big picture when it comes to the College Football Playoff. I would even say that SMU at Memphis could even be seen as being more relevant as SMU is still undefeated this late into the year.
