The Wild Card games were a bit ho-hum, but we did get one or two solid games. I expect a lot more drama this week. I think both late games will deliver just that.

The Chiefs and Lions are coming off their well-deserved bye week, will they look rested or rusty?

2024-25 NFL Wild Card Playoffs – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-5 against the spread in Week 18.

Week 18 was a case in backwards thinking. A lot of bad teams won and ruined their draft stock. Bad teams/franchises tend to make things worse for themselves and I bet on a lot of those teams to do just that.

It’s important to look at weather reports, the strength of opponents down the stretch and injury reports before placing your bets.

Can the Commanders continue to surprise and cover against Tampa Bay?

2024 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I had a rough 8-7-1 record against the spread in Week 16.

First off, to have a Wednesday afternoon game this late in the season is just psychotic. Teams like to keep things more secret this time of the year. It’s insanely difficult to handicap games on Tuesday night for games that mostly happen on Sunday.

We have games nearly every single day from Christmas Day through Sunday. I’m not sure if I want these Christmas Day games to be a hit or not since games will end up on Tuesdays and Wednesday a few times each decade.

2024-25 College Football Playoff Betting Picks Against Spread – 1st Round

I went 6-2 against the spread in the final regular season week of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I usually don’t do too many college football betting posts after the regular season. It’s hard to do weekly betting picks for bowl games due to all the transfer portal and the coaching carousel changes. This year, due to the new College Football Playoff format, it’s much easier to do the playoff games.

2024 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I had a rough 11-5 record against the spread in Week 15.

It was nice to have a rebound after a couple weeks of middling results. I feel like there was value in many of the betting lines last week.

We have a few more double-digit point spreads this week Don’t get too comfortable now that a 17-point spread covered last week. Double-digit point spreads are still a tough cover in the NFL.

I had a rough 5-8 record against the spread in Week 14.

I apologize for the abridged version of this week’s picks. I had a cold to start the week and I had to cram about three days worth of work in a day-and-a-half.

I was still able to give you guys some information about every game and explain my picks for the week.

We have two huge games this week. The Bills/Lions and Steelers/Eagles games could easily be Super Bowl previews.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 15 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 14 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I have struggled down the stretch. I opened the year with some big weeks, but the tail-end of conference play has been rough.

We only have a handful of games this week, so we will pick every single game against the spread.

There were a lot of teams that shuffled to new conferences last offseason. Will any of those new teams take home their conference trophy?

I went 10-5-1 against the spread in Week 13.

I wasn’t my usual self on Thanksgiving, by I had a great Sunday with my bets.

We are dealing with a lot of injuries this time of the year. We saw 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey and Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence suffer major injuries last week.

We went heavy on the home favorites this week. There are just a lot of hometown value in the lines this week.

I went 11-14 against the spread in Week 13 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I’ve had some rough weeks down the stretch. The schedule is full of rivalry games this week. You can mostly throw out the records since a lot of upsets occur when many of these teams meet every year.

2024 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6 against the spread in Week 12.

I’ve historically been outstanding on Thanksgiving. I’m always scared of jinxing myself by pointing this out every year. It’s worked out so far, so if I miss, it’s my fault.

Due to injuries, there are only two solid games on Thanksgiving. I would call the Giants/Cowboys game a complete skip for me. I just have no desire to watch Tommy Cutlets, or Tim Boyle, or Drew Lock vs Cooper freaking Rush duke it out while I digest food.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-11-3 against the spread in Week 12 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

We are getting into some rivalry games this week. Those usually wait until around Thanksgiving, but teams tend to have multiple rivalries nowadays.

One of the more interesting games on the schedule this week is Army versus Notre Dame. The Black Knights come into this game undefeated, but are currently two touchdown-underdogs. It should be a fun game to watch.

2024 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-7 against the spread in Week 11.

After a stretch of great weeks, I’ve had back-to-back hiccups. Well, I hope they are hiccups, because I need to turn it around.

I really like this week’s slate of games. There are some fun ones on the schedule, like Ravens/Chargers and Niners/Packers. I don’t love the few double-digit point spreads, but this always happens at this point every year.
