I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 14 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I have struggled down the stretch. I opened the year with some big weeks, but the tail-end of conference play has been rough.

We only have a handful of games this week, so we will pick every single game against the spread.

There were a lot of teams that shuffled to new conferences last offseason. Will any of those new teams take home their conference trophy?

2024 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5-1 against the spread in Week 13.

I wasn’t my usual self on Thanksgiving, by I had a great Sunday with my bets.

We are dealing with a lot of injuries this time of the year. We saw 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey and Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence suffer major injuries last week.

We went heavy on the home favorites this week. There are just a lot of hometown value in the lines this week.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 14 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-14 against the spread in Week 13 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I’ve had some rough weeks down the stretch. The schedule is full of rivalry games this week. You can mostly throw out the records since a lot of upsets occur when many of these teams meet every year.

Will any College Football Playoff teams trip over their own feet this week?

2024 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6 against the spread in Week 12.

I’ve historically been outstanding on Thanksgiving. I’m always scared of jinxing myself by pointing this out every year. It’s worked out so far, so if I miss, it’s my fault.

Due to injuries, there are only two solid games on Thanksgiving. I would call the Giants/Cowboys game a complete skip for me. I just have no desire to watch Tommy Cutlets, or Tim Boyle, or Drew Lock vs Cooper freaking Rush duke it out while I digest food.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

I got wrecked last week and went 9-15-1 against the spread in Week 10 of the 2024-25 College Football season. It was, by far, my worst performance in many years. 

We have a fun slate of games this week. A few of the betting lines left me confused at a glance, but realized that some powerhouses are having down seasons. On the other side of the coin, I was equally shocked to see a single-digit point spread in a Vanderbilt game against another SEC school. 

The SEC title picture should be more clear after this week’s slate of games. A few teams will fall out of contention with a loss.

2024 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread in Week 9.

I really needed a strong showing on Sunday after getting wrecked by my college football bets. I was able to recoup a large portion of my losses thanks to a three-team parlay.

Injuries have really hit some teams hard this season. It appears that the 49ers may be a near-full strength soon now that RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) returned to practice. On the other side of the coin, the Cowboys may lose QB Dake Prescott (hamstring) for a couple games.

Can the Lions continue their hot streak?

2024 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 9 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

Unlike the NFL, there appears to be a ton of teams out on bye this week. We still have some massive games on the schedule, but it just feels light overall.

Georgia vs Florida and Oregon vs Michigan would normally be ‘championship or bust’ sort of games, but both have double-digit point spreads this year. At least one traditional matchup does have College Football Playoff implications when Ohio State travels to Penn State on Saturday afternoon.

2024 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-8 against the spread in Week 8.

I was up and down all week and finally finished even last weekend. The betting lines were close overall, but they should probably start to jack up the Detroit Lions point spreads.

We have 15 games on the schedule this week. It’s still a rather full slate of games, which seems odd for this time of the year.

Now that we are at the halfway point in the year, we can look back and see which teams were undervalued to begin the season. The Broncos top that list, as we didn’t factor in their easy early-season schedule.

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 8 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I had a massive article planned, but I broke/bruised some ribs Thursday morning, and I’ve been in bed ever since.

I was able to write a little snippet for each marquee game this week, albeit from my phone. I’ll be back with a massive article for next week’s games.

2024 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread in Week 7.

I had an outstanding Sunday, but finished 1-2 in the Sunday and Monday night primetime games. Any week when you have double-digit wins against the spread, is a positive week.

We have a rare midseason schedule with no bye weeks. We also have a handful of double-digit point spreads, which have been extremely rare so far this year. We will be seeing more going forward.

We are seeing injury issues wreaking havoc right now. We saw Tampa Bay, San Francisco and Cleveland lose important players to major injuries that will keep them out for the rest of the season.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 8 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread in Week 7 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I was able to edge out a win for the week and profited thanks to a couple moneyline plays (my parlays weren’t as lucky).

The SEC appears to be in a state of flux with Vanderbilt knocking off Alabama and Kentucky. The Commodores haven’t been remotely good in well over a decade. The conference no longer has a consistent doormat to beat up on this year.

2024 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-4-1 against the spread in Week 6.

I thought I was going to end up with double-digit wins this weekend, but Jets QB Aaron Rodgers threw a pick in the final minutes of their last to the Bills.

We have an odd schedule of games with a early-Sunday game in London and two Monday Night Football games.

The best teams in the league are beginning to separate themselves from the pack. The Detroit Lions have looked like the best team in the NFC so far this month, but a lot can change moving forward.
