The 30 Hottest Female Athletes of the 2018 Winter Olympics

The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea will begin in early February. We want to make sure our readers are as informed as possible. We have logged in a couple hours scouting the female ‘talent’ who will compete in this year’s Winter Olympic games.

We wanted to make sure that we only list the female olympians you will see during the telecast on NBC. Every female athlete in this post (should) be there barring injury or failed trial attempt.

This year’s list took a hit when the Russia team was hit with a ban and there was a doping scandal in freestyle skiing that took out a few from our 2014 Winter Olympics list.

This list of the 30 hottest/sexiest female athletes who will compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics come from a wide range of sports. We have ladies who compete in snowboarding, curling, bobsledding, skiing and even hockey! A few of the names will be familiar to you, but we have picked out a few sleepers who will turn heads and make appearances on every sports blog the day after their event.

Have a seat, open a beer, and enjoy the view…

Swimmer Ryan Lochte Rescued From Drowning After Olympics Thanks To Finance Company

160819-lochte-0432_c60bfaf14ac110d64f37cad517fd9897.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000Medals are won and prizes are claimed at this kind of competition, but swimmer Ryan Lochte rescued from drowning after Olympics thanks to finance company.

Lochte is a professional swimmer, yet he was drowning in a sea of trouble after the Olympics. Troubles like these could seem endless for anybody, especially a 12-time Olympic medalist.

Some could argue that the swimmer’s problems were self-inflicted, but that does not mean he does not deserve the second chance given to him by Debt.com. In fact, the deal was for a campaign called “Second Chance”, which was only fitting.

Curling: How To Play The Best Winter Olympic Sport

Norway Olympics Curling BlondeEvery four years, I look forward to the Winter Olympics. Household names are few and far between and you learn how freaking quirky these athletes are.

The sport I end up watching the most is curling. I first started watching this sport during the 2006 Olympics and I must have watched a dozen hours. I knew nothing about it and learned the rules on the fly. It was a lot of fun, but you rarely ever see it televised during Olympic off-years.

Most people try to explain curling with the phrase, “It’s like shuffleboard.” Okay, unless you live in a retirement community, you don’t know much about that ‘sport’ either.

We explain the basic rules of curling and why it’s the best sport in the Winter Olympics.

The Ladies of 2013 ESPY Awards [PHOTOS]

selena-gomez-espys-2013-red-carpet-montageThe ESPY awards are often filler on a day when no major sports play games…like zero games.

I don’t often watch the ESPYs, but I watched the entire thing, even part of the pre-show, because you all know how much we love Samantha Steele (we don’t call her Samantha Ponder on this site).

We surfed the internet and cherry-picked the best of the best photos from the ladies who attended the 2013 ESPYs.

One lady specifically came out of nowhere and was stunning. Here’s a hint…she’s a former Winter Olympian for the United States. Here are the red carpet photos from this year’s ESPYs. Continue reading

Sports Crush: Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey is more than just a pretty face. She is a mixed-martial artist with a focus on judo. She won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She then moved into MMA fighting at the beginning of 2011. She currently holds an undefeated record of 6-0.

She is the first female fighter in the UFC. UFC President Dana White recently awarded her the Bantamweight Championship. She is due to face Liz Carmouche at UFC 157. The fight shares top billing with Dan Henderson vs. Lyoto Machida. Rousey has defeated every opponent in the first round, so please time out your bathroom breaks accordingly.

After Ronda “Rowdy Rousey” defeated a past “sports crush” Miesha Tate, she had my attention. And if she didn’t already have my respect, she went on Jim Rome’s new show and said, “I try to have as much sex as possible before a fight.”

Yep. She’s a keeper. Follow her on Twitter at @RondaRousey.

Here is a picture gallery for our latest sports crush, Ronda Rousey. Continue reading

Must Watch: NBA TV’s ‘Dream Team’ Documentary

There wasn’t a definitive documentary about the most important basketball team ever created. HBO was rumored to be working on a documentary about ‘The Dream Team’, but nothing materialized.

ESPN’s ’30 for 30′ documentary series raised the bar for sports documentaries. Bill Simmons once said in a podcast that he wanted to make a ‘Dream Team’ documentary, but the rights to the video from the 1992 Olympics were too expensive.

NBA TV stepped up to the plate and is debuting their documentary The Dream Team tonight at 9pm EST. I have viewed parts of the movie which is certain to be an instant classic. It contains never-before-seen video of a scrimmage that you will never believe the outcome. I list a few of the intriguing moments you will see tonight and post a video of the movie trailer. Michael Phelps Is A Dolphin

I am very excited to witness history tonight, but someone should check Michael Phelps for a blow-hole and/or gills. I know the kid looks like the bastard son of Eli Manning and Jim from “The Office,” but he is a beast. What he did in these Olympics is just staggering. The last time an American Olympian garnered this kind of buzz was Michael Johnson back in ’96 or maybe the Dan vs. Dave ad campaign that kind of hit the fan.

Phelps got his 8th gold medal at the Beijing Olympics tonight and he needed his fellow team members to help him. Not only did he have 8 gold medals, he broke 7 world records in the process. He will be the next Lance Armstrong, meaning that he will be America’s Superhero. He will have to decide what cause he will be backing and what color bracelet he will choose to sell.

The final total for Michael Phelps in his Olympic career is 16 total medals, 14 of them being gold. He is still a young man, so the 2012 Olympics could be in his future. I feel like he should always wear American flag clothing from this point on. Look for him to start dating a famous actress within the next calendar year.
