Detroit Lions defensive tackle (and celebrity diver) Ndamukong Suh won his appeal and will play in Sunday’s playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Suh had his one-game suspension overturned by appeals officer Ted Cottrell. It came one day after the league suspended him for stepping on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
His teammate Dominic Raiola was suspended one week ago for stepping on Chicago Bears defensive tackle Ego Ferguson.
Let’s hope this squashes all the conspiracy theories that the NFL was stacking the deck for Dallas to advance. The NFL will get ratings no matter which team plays.
