2022 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-5 against the spread last week.

I had a shot at an eleven-win week, but I failed to cover in the primetime games on Sunday and Monday.

Many teams find themselves with a different starting quarterback than they had just a few weeks ago. The Colts made a change by naming QB Sam Ehlinger the starter over veteran Matt Ryan. Also, the Saints have given the keys to QB Andy Dalton, regardless of the health of Jameis Winston.

Can the Jets continue their hot start with a cover over the Patriots?

2022 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-4 against the spread last week.

I was finally able to crack a streak of .500-ish weeks. I was able to sweep the late-Sunday slate and all of the Primetime games. It was nice to get the monkey off my back, but I need to keep this going.

We have some quarterbacks that could return from injuries this week. Miami, New England and Dallas could all have their signal-callers in uniform this weekend.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 7

There are loads of top-tier fantasy football talent out on bye this week.

The Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles all have the week off.

It’s rare to see a bye week this loaded, as these four teams have some of most talented players in fantasy. You could be in the market to replace WR Justin Jefferson, QB Jalen Hurts, QB Josh Allen or WR A.J. Brown, which are all tall tasks.

2022 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

I’ve been hovering around .500 nearly every week this season. I need a big week to break away. I feel pretty solid about my picks this week.

We have two less games on the schedule due to bye weeks. There are a lot of home underdogs this week, are you going to take the bait?

It looks like we could see a couple starting quarterbacks return this week. Patriots QB Mac Jones and Cowboys QB Dak Prescott have a shot to suit up this weekend. Also, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has a small chance of playing as well.

Bye weeks are back!

The Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and the Houston Texans all have the week off.

Those teams don’t have the best records, but they have some fantasy studs on their teams. You could be in a position to find a replacement for RB Derrick Henry, WR Davante Adams or TE T.J. Hockenson.

Is Seahawks QB Geno Smith a worthy streaming option against the Cardinals?

Which Dolphins running back should you start?

2022 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-6-2 against the spread last week.

I was glad to see a winning record again after two bland weeks. A couple teams that I had ranking high, but fell on their faces in the first couple games, are finally playing up to their talent level. I expect the Raiders and Bengals will have some tempting point spreads the next couple weeks.

We have a couple games with big question marks at quarterback. The Patriots look to be starting rookie QB Bailey Zappe and the Cowboys are currently unsure if QB Dak Prescott will be healthy enough to suit this week.

2021 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-4-1 against the spread last week.

As of Wednesday evening, there are 90 NFL players on the COVID list. There are many key players that will miss this weekend’s games. I actually had a large chunk of this written on Tuesday, but as more and more names were placed on the list, I decided to wait an extra day to post my NFL betting picks. This could become the norm due to the variant’s infection rate.

Can the Patriots stop the Colts running game on Saturday?

2021 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-6 against the spread last week.

I only had one loss after the early games on Sunday, but the late games really destroyed my hopes of a huge week. I did hit a nice Lions moneyline play which kept me in the black this weekend.

The primetime games on Sunday and Monday nights are great. The Bills/Bucs and Rams/Cardinals games will have playoff implications.

Can the Washington Football Team win their fifth game in-a-row and cover against the Cowboys?

2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 13

I had a rough week with my betting picks, but my fantasy picks were some of my best recommendations this season.

The Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers are all out on bye this week.

There aren’t a ton of top fantasy performers out this week, so you may not want to tinker with your lineup a ton. We suggest a few deeper league options this week to help those fantasy owners.

2021 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-7-1 against the spread in the opening week.

Week 2 can be tricky for those who react too swiftly to the first week outcomes. You do need to be flexible, but there are always Week 1 aberrations. I would suggest that you look back at your preseason rankings and decide which teams impressed you enough to adjust their ranking and which ones you need to double-down this week and hope for a bounce-back performance

Can the Packers forget last week’s blowout loss and cover a double-digit point spread at home against the Lions?
