2022 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

We will see the first London game of the year, which are usually horribly-played games. I think the underdogs have won most of those games and expect a low-scoring affair.

The Raiders are 0-3 outright and against the spread right now. I thought they could be a potential playoff team at the start of the year. There is still a lot of football left to play. Can the Raiders turn this season around with a cover this week?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 4

Injuries haven’t been a huge problem this year, but there are a couple that could have put a huge problem to you.

Patriots QB Mac Jones injured his leg in the final play of the game last week. It appears that he will miss a few games. How will this affect the team and will any players benefit from a conservative play-calling scheme?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles.

**Due to bring under the weather this week, I just provided a list of fantasy sit’em and start’em. I didn’t want to completely skip this weekly article, so I just provided the list. I will resume with a full article next week**

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 1

I’m so happy to have fantasy football back!

Hopefully we can make it throughout the season without having to track all of your fantasy team’s temperatures and testing statuses.

We have a lot of new faces in new places and the biggest is probably the cover boy this week, Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson. He is expected to have a big year, and uh, let’s ride!

The Bills and Rams kickoff the season on Thursday Night Football. Are there any sleepers on those teams this year?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Russell Wilson of the Denver Broncos.

2021 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-6 against the spread last week.

COVID-19 is running rampant in NFL locker rooms right now. I had to delay my betting picks by a day last week just due to the flood of names coming in. I had to delay it again this week due to games being pushed back to Tuesday night.

I fully expect some more game-changing names to land in COVID protocols by this weekend. I fear it will be like this until the Super Bowl.

Will the Buccaneers bounce-back from a shut-out loss?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 16 of the 2021 NFL season.

Can Urban Meyer Survive the Season?

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer is having arguably the worst season any NFL coach has had in recent memory. Not only is his team 2-11 on the year, but all of his off-the-field issues are making it hard for the Jaguars front office to keep him after this season.

We all know about Meyer’s drunken night when he was caught on video groping a young blonde. Most coaches would have trouble surviving that scandal, but he has seen his #1 overall pick quarterback play like he doesn’t belong in the league, he is having shouting matches with his veteran wide receivers and was caught telling all of his assistant coaches that they were losers.

What can Urban Meyer do to survive the season and coach the Jaguars going forward?

2021 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-9 against the spread last week.

I had a rough week and by far the worst showing of the season. I had a couple close losses, but those are still big, fat L’s at the pay window.

We have a rough idea which teams are in the playoff race and which teams that could soon pack it in the for the season. We could still see a few surprises though.

This time last month, it looked like the Dolphins were in the race for the #1 overall pick, but they’ve now won four games in-a-row heading into this week.

2021 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread last week.

I’ve had a couple up and down weeks recently, so it was nice to have big week heading into Thanksgiving.

Historically, I’ve done very well on Thanksgiving. I’ve had multiple three-team parlays hit over the years and I once had a streak of twelve-straight covers over the course of three Thanksgivings.

I hope I didn’t just jinx myself for bringing that up.

Can the Colts cover at home against Tom Brady?

2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

Last week was another weird overall week in the NFL. The Bills nearly lost to the Jaguars and the Cowboys were dominated by the Broncos.

The Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants and the Houston Texans are all out on bye this week.

There aren’t a ton of top fantasy players out on bye this week. There are a few studs on Cincinnati and the other teams have some startable wide receivers.

2021 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Jimmy Garoppolo San Francisco 49ers dottedI went 9-4 against the spread in Week 7.

After going .500 in the early Sunday games, I ran the table the rest of the day.

We nearly have a full schedule of games with only two teams on bye. We also have a few double-digit point spreads (again) this week. We will be seeing more and more of those going forward. I’m curious to see if we break an all-time record for them due to the new 17-game season.

Can Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes bounce-back from a rough week and look like his old self against the Giants on Monday Night Football?

Can the Detroit Lions get their first win?

2021 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-6-1 against the spread in Week 5.

The bye weeks have started and we will only have fourteen games on the schedule. It feels like a fuller slate of games since we have a London game and an important game on Monday Night Football.

We saw a few potential season-shifting injuries last week. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson injured a finger on his throwing hand and will be out until December. The Giants also have injury concerns with QB Daniel Jones, who is currently sitting in concussion-protocol.

Can the Steelers cover against the Geno Smith-led Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season.

2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 6

Are you ready for the start of the dreaded bye weeks?

The Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers all have the week off. Luckily, these teams aren’t full of fantasy football studs.

Even though there aren’t a ton of automatic starts on those teams, you may need to fill a flex spot or a defense this week. We give a few suggestions on streaming options.

Will the Jacksonville Jaguars go 0-17 this season?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of two winless teams left in the NFL (the Detroit Lions is the other). Expectations weren’t very high going into the season, but it’s been worse as rookie QB Trevor Lawrence and new head coach Urban Meyer have struggled.

The possibility of the Jaguars going 0-17 started when they lost to the Houston Texans in Week 1. You could easily say that the Texans are the worst team in the league, but you can’t really rank them there if they hold a win over the Jaguars.

The Jaguars have a lot off issues, but they start at the top. The front office spent $90 million on free agents this offseason, but that money was not wisely spent. They need more depth and didn’t need to spend big money for CB Shaquill Griffin or WR Marvin Jones. They jumped to sign those guys a little too early. Griffin is great, but a guy at the talent-level of Jones could have been had for half the price later in free agency. The reason I don’t think Griffin is worth the price is because that’s a move made by a contending team. They needed to spread the money around for depth at multiple positions.
