2023 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Running Backs

It’s a bit difficult to pinpoint sleeper fantasy running backs this year. There are many teams that could have three running backs receive 5+ touches a game. Most teams run a dual-running back offense and it’s much better to own the pass-catching back in PPR leagues.

The incoming running back rookie class should make some noise this season. There are a handful backs taken in the third round (or later) that could be smart pickups to stash.

Which Indianapolis running back will benefit the most from the Jonathan Taylor drama?

2023 NCAA Football – Week 1 Betting Picks Against Spread

College Football season is here, guys!

We once again saw a vast amount of changes in college football thanks to the transfer portal. It no longer takes a team two or three years to rebuild thanks to the new transfer rules.

We already saw a few games last weekend and former Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman led Notre Dame to a blowout win over Navy. It’s just one of the new players that will make big impact in their team debut.

Can Duke upset Clemson on Monday night?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 1 of the 2023-24 NCAA Football season (September 2nd, 2023).

2023 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Quarterbacks

Many of you will soon be drafting your fantasy football teams for the 2023 season. It’s nearly impossible to win a league these days without a stud quarterback. The days of owning LaDanian Tomlinson and plowing through the league are long over.

We all know the studs in fantasy and if you own a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen, barring an injury, you have a great head-start on the year. Unfortunately, not everyone can have those two men on your team, especially in a deep league.

In a fantasy draft, you usually don’t roll the dice and take a deep quarterback sleeper, unless you’re in a twenty-team league. I accrued a list that gets progressively more sleeper-ish as you read. There’s a mix of talent of guys who should be drafted in all standard leagues and, “I’ve never heard that name before” sleepers.

AEW’s “All In” Was Worth Every Penny (No Spoilers)

All Elite Wrestling has had a cloud over their heads since CM Punk and The Elite had a backstage brawl in 2022. Ratings for their flagship show “Dynamite” have been stagnant and their newest show, “Collision”, is having trouble cracking 600k viewers most weeks. Things aren’t as hot as they’ve been in the past and the tension between Punk and The Elite still continues. They desperately needed a big, successful show to help cleanse themselves of some of the last year’s stench.

AEW has been eyeing the UK market since before their debut episode of “Dynamite.” Owner Tony Khan spends a lot of time there due to his family’s ownership of Fulham Football Club. The pandemic ruined their plans of having a big show in Fulham’s home stadium. Now that things have returned to normal, they swung for the fences in their UK debut.

Super Bowl 57 – Betting Picks Against Spread & Prop Bets

Super Bowl 57 is this Sunday and it’s a prop bets smorgasbord.

I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.

I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.

Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the juice isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.

I picked out some of the most popular prop bets for Super Bowl 57 (or Super Bowl LVII for Roman numeral fans)…and we also pick the game against the spread.

2023 NFL Conference Championship Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 4-0 against the spread last week).

Last week’s slate of playoff games weren’t as good as the Wild Card week, but it was still a lot of fun.

Three of these four teams appeared in the conference championship last year. The Bengals and Chiefs met last year (with the Bengals winning outright) and the Niners make an appearance for the second season in-a-row. The Eagles find themselves in new territory as they got good in a hurry under first-year head coach Nick Sirianni.

We pick both NFL Conference Championship games against the spread and over/under point totals.

2023 NFL Divisional Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 4-2 against the spread and 2-4 with my over/under picks.

Most of the games were fun to watch and I love this week’s slate of playoff games. There are some interesting match-ups and a few young quarterbacks could move up a tier with a win this weekend.

I love that we don’t have any double-digit point spreads this week. We had many in the last few divisional game rounds in recent years.

Can the Jaguars continue their run with a win against the Chiefs?

We pick every NFL Divisional Playoff game against the spread.

2023 NFL Wild Card Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread in the final regular season games.

We have a slate of six games this weekend and most are rematches from earlier meetings this season. I would preach caution when gleaning too much information from previous meetings, especially those that took place back in October or November.

We have a few near-double digit games this weekend, which has been common in recent years.

Can the Bills cover a double-digit point spread over the Dolphins?

We pick every NFL Wild Card Weekend game against the spread.

2022-23 NFL Week 18 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-6 against the spread last week.

Last week’s slate of games ended with such a horrible situation. Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest after he tackled Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. It was the scariest football injury situation that I’ve witnessed since Dennis Byrd or Mike Utley went down with neck injuries in the 90’s. We wish Hamlin a speedy recovery.

This week’s betting picks is lean heavily on different playoff scenarios. There are only a few playoff spots left, but a handful of teams could leapfrog each other if certain things happen.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 18 of the 2022 NFL season.

2022 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Saquon Barkley dottedI went 7-9 against the spread last week.

I’m glad to be back with my regular NFL betting content. I had a physical issue during the cold stretch and my arms were numb due to my ongoing neck issues. I deal with intermittent numbness, but this was next level. I had very little coordination in my hands and it made typing a slow, typo-ridden experience.

This time of the year, you need to be knowledgeable about different playoff-clinching scenarios. There are a few teams that can clinch spots and it doesn’t look like any team will bulk rest their starters.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season.

2022 College Football Playoff Semifinals Betting Picks Against Spread

The College Football Playoff teams were chosen weeks ago, and it wasn’t without controversy.

Two of the four teams lost their last contest, and Ohio State didn’t even play in their conference championship game. There were a lot of people who thought other conference champions deserved to leapfrog the Buckeyes in the rankings.

Can Georgia and Michigan continue their perfect seasons and avoid the upset?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick every college football game against the spread during the College Football Playoff Semifinals of the 2022-23 NCAA Football season (December 31st, 2022).

2022 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL gambling picks will be short and sweet.

I have long-term neck issues that stem from two bad car accident I had many years ago. I am dealing with a rather serious flare up and both of my hands are numb. I tried to write up my usual weekly article, but it was taking way too long. Who knew that dragging your uncoordinated hands around a keyboard would cause so many typos.

I hope I will be back with my normal column next week.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 16 of the 2022 NFL season.
