Sweetbob’s Fantasy Baseball F/M/K – May 6th

We are now five weeks into the 2018 baseball season.

It’s time to think about dropping some under-performing players, even if you drafted them in the middle rounds. At the same time, there are guys that you need to show a little more patience. It’s a tricky spot as you don’t want to drop a guy in a slump who goes onto have an All-Star year.

We look at some players who started out hot, some who are struggling and maybe some guys who should be targeted in your free agent pool on May 6th, 2018.

I’ll be posting a weekly fantasy baseball F/M/K every Sunday this baseball season…so keep coming back!

The 25 Best Wrestling Entrance Theme Songs of All-time

Great entrance music can help make a superstar. The wrestler will need to back up the hype in the ring and on the microphone, but a great entrance song can go a long way.

Let’s use Bobby Roode as an example. He had a great career in TNA, but that promotion started to die off as Roode was finishing up there. There’s no doubt he would have received a good pop upon his first appearance, but his WWE entrance theme made him look like a damn superstar. It also shows the fans that they were putting ‘the machine’ behind the wrestler, so they will push them as far as they can go.

NXT has been the starting point of some of the songs on this list. I want to credit Triple H as he’s a fan of harder music and no doubt had the final say on the music. I am just thankful Vince doesn’t have his hands in NXT or every guy would be coming out to Flo Rida or Florida Georgia Line songs.

2018 NFL Draft: Best Undrafted Players

256 players were drafted in the 2018 NFL Draft over a three-day period. Some of those players will never play one down in a regular season NFL game. On the other side of the coin, many college players that went undrafted could end up having long careers in the NFL.

Kurt Warner went undrafted in the 1994 NFL Draft. He was a training camp invitee with the Green Bay Packers. He was released before the season and then found himself in the Arena Football League. He was successful there and then signed by the St. Louis Rams. Starting QB Trent Green suffered an ACL injury in the preseason and Warner was named the starter. He went on the win the Super Bowl that season. Warner is now a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Other recent undrafted players that had success in the NFL: RB Thomas Rawls, LB Zach Orr, WR Willie Snead, CB Malcolm Butler, RB Corey Clement, WR Robbie Anderson and many others.

Toy Crazy: Mattel’s WWE Elite Series 59

I’m a self-confessed vintage toy nerd. I collect vintage wrestling action figures from the 80’s & 90’s. I started purchasing some vintage toys out of nostalgia. Well, WWE and Mattel sucked me into their new stuff. I now buy a few figures a month. You can view photos of my collection on my Instagram account.

The lineup for WWE Elite series 59 has been known for awhile, but they have yet to be released. We’ve already seen up-close pictures as they were on display at a few toy shows this Winter. This lineup might be the weakest in awhile as there isn’t a ‘first ever elite’ in this set and a few guys don’t get regular TV time.

The WWE Superstars included in Elite 59 are Kurt Angle, American Alpha (Chad Gable & Jason Jordan), Finn Balor, Zack Ryder & The Miz.

Benefits of Trampolining

The trampolining trend is most definitely here to stay. And while all sports offer health benefits, you may be forgiven for thinking that trampolining is nothing more than a bit of fun. After all, there is something exhilarating about jumping as high as possible and seeing what tricks you can do in the air, isn’t there? However, trampolining offers so much more than this. Read on to discover more about the benefits.

It gives your other exercises a boost – One of the unique things about trampolining is that it gives all of your exercises a boost. There have been studies that have shown that people that weight lift achieve greater results once they start adding trampolining to the mix as well. Head to https://www.bodybuilding.com/content/best-beginner-weight-training-guide-with-easy-to-follow-workout.html for more information on lifting weights if this is something you are interested in yet do not do at present.

25 Indie Wrestlers WWE Should Sign Right Now

The WWE keeps raiding the independent scene for talent to stock NXT with experienced workers. You would think the well would run dry of new guys, but they keep emerging. New talented wrestlers keep making a name for themselves by wrestling for independent promotions all over the world.

If you’re expecting this list to be full of New Japan talent like Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks or even Cody Rhodes, you’d be disappointed. New Japan isn’t an indie promotion in my eyes. If so, Kazuchika Okada, Hiromu Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito would top the list. NJPW have so much homegrown talent that I decided to not include those guys on this list. I did add a few gaijins (foreigners) who work for New Japan (as well as otehr promotions), but they’re not the tippy-top guys.

2018 NFL Draft: Which Quarterback Will Be Best Pro?

Quarterbacks are always at a premium in the NFL Draft. Teams reach for signal callers every single year. Some years work out great (2004) and some years are a disaster (2007).

Thanks to the NFL Rookie Wage Scale, teams have jumped at the chance of getting a possible franchise-changing quarterback in the early first round at a discount. Teams have traded huge hauls and mortgaged their future by trading up for a quarterback. The Redskins gave the Rams a large package of picks for Robert Griffin III (which didn’t work out long-term) and the Eagles gave the Browns a litany of future picks for Carson Wentz (too early to call).

The 2018 NFL Draft quarterback class is being touted as one of the best in many years. There are four quarterbacks that could be taken within the first five picks. Which one will be the best pro?

Here is our somewhat novice look at which quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft class will be the best pro.

Who Should the Colts Draft at #6?

The Indianapolis Colts did have the third overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but traded down to sixth for a king’s ransom. They traded the Jets and received the 6th, 37th, and 49th overall pick in this year’s draft and a second-round pick next year.

The Colts are in a great position as they aren’t in need of a quarterback…but they need just about everything else. Their former general manager was horrible at evaluating college talent and most of his picks have already flunked out of the league.

There are four or five quarterbacks that teams have circled as potential top-ten picks. There are eight or nine teams that are in need of a young quarterback. The Colts sixth pick could end up being a valuable trade piece as they could move another pick to acquire many more picks.

Here are a few options the Indianapolis Colts have for the sixth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Six Ways To Make A Splash This Summer

As a budding fitness junkie, it can be far too easy to miss out on some of the best options you have before you. With a gym pass in hand, a lot of people will ignore the offerings to be found outside of a place like this, and will live out their fitness career unable to take advantage of tools which could be a great help. As one of the biggest areas people fail to consider, water is truly one of the best tools out there for exercise. To help you to find ways to use it this summer, this post will be exploring some of the easiest ways to make a splash, and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune in the process.

Of course, though, before diving in, it’s worth thinking about what sets water based exercise apart from a lot of the other activities you find in a gym. To begin, very few machines can work all of the muscles the sea or a pool can utilise, giving you the chance to cover a much wider range than in the gym. Along with this, swimming can count as both strength and cardio training. As one of the biggest benefits, water doesn’t put the same sort of impact pressure on your body as other workouts, and it will be almost impossible to injure yourself while floating around.
