2022 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

I’m glad to be back with my regular NFL betting content. I had a physical issue during the cold stretch and my arms were numb due to my ongoing neck issues. I deal with intermittent numbness, but this was next level. I had very little coordination in my hands and it made typing a slow, typo-ridden experience.

This time of the year, you need to be knowledgeable about different playoff-clinching scenarios. There are a few teams that can clinch spots and it doesn’t look like any team will bulk rest their starters.

2022 College Football Playoff Semifinals Betting Picks Against Spread

The College Football Playoff teams were chosen weeks ago, and it wasn’t without controversy.

Two of the four teams lost their last contest, and Ohio State didn’t even play in their conference championship game. There were a lot of people who thought other conference champions deserved to leapfrog the Buckeyes in the rankings.

2022 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL gambling picks will be short and sweet.

I have long-term neck issues that stem from two bad car accident I had many years ago. I am dealing with a rather serious flare up and both of my hands are numb. I tried to write up my usual weekly article, but it was taking way too long. Who knew that dragging your uncoordinated hands around a keyboard would cause so many typos.

2022 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6 against the spread last week.

Once again, I finished the week near-.500. It’s almost automatic at this point, but I hope that a full slate of games will end this streak of parity.

We only have one double-digit point spread this week. We usually have three of four double-digit betting lines this time of year. We will see way more in the coming weeks, so enjoy this week.

The Cardinals vs Broncos game might be the worst game of the year. I feel sorry for people in those regions.

2022 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-9 against the spread last week.

I’ve been hovering around .500 for the entire month of November and I start December with a stinker. I hope to break my steak of mediocrity with a strong finish to the regular season.

This will be our last week with byes and we will have full slate of sixteen games after this week. I love having more opportunities every week, especially now that the college football regular season is over.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 14 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 15-10 against the spread during Week 13 of the college football season.

Conference Championship Week is here!

I like this year’s slate of championship games. I expect most of these games will be tight and the point spreads reflect that. There are a couple double-digit point spreads, but you expected larger point spreads in the Purdue/Michigan and LSU/Georgia games.

2022 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread last week.

Another week, another near-.500 week for ole’ Sweetbob. I need to snap this streak and hopefully it will happen this weekend.

It was nice to not have a load of games on Thursday again. I really had to slam through all of my weekly content on Tuesday. I like to take my time on the picks, but it couldn’t happen during a Thanksgiving week.

I had a late start to this week’s content as I went to an All Elite Wrestling signing on Tuesday in Indianapolis. It was cool to meet my very nice, very evil hero Danhausen.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-11-1 against the spread during Week 12 of the college football season.

We have some big rivalry games this week. The Michigan vs Ohio State game will get all the oxygen this week, but there are some big games over Friday and Saturday this week.

2022 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

I need a big week after back-to-back 7-6-1 weeks. I’ve traditionally been very strong on Thanksgiving, but we will see. One of these years I’ll go back and figure out my Thanksgiving record. I’m writing this up late-Wednesday night, so there isn’t time to do that this year.

We are starting to see more double-digit point spreads, which happens more and more from late-November through the end of the season.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 12-12-1 against the spread during Week 11 of the college football season.

I’ve had three-straight weeks of near-.500 results, so I need to snap this streak of averageness.

We are in the ‘rivalry game’ section of the year. Schools often have more than just one rival, so the next two weeks are big games for most schools, regardless of their records.

Can USC head coach Lincoln Riley get his first rivalry win against UCLA?

2022 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

It was a nice rebound after the previous week’s implosion. It wasn’t a fantastic outcome, but I was glad to come out (slightly) ahead again.

We don’t have an early European game this week, but we will see a Monday night game in Mexico. I can deal with that much better than the usual garbage we see in those games overseas.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 10 of the college football season.

I’ve had a few near-.500 weeks in a row, but I’m feeling pretty damn good about this week’s slate of games.

This week lacks a huge marquee game, but there are still solid games on the schedule. I’m looking forward to TCU/Texas and Florida State/Syracuse.

Can Alabama rebound after last week’s tough loss and cover against Ole Miss?
