In week ten of the college football season, I went 15-10 against the spread.

I’ve been on a hot streak in recent weeks. I have found value in some of the mid-tier SEC teams, and riding the top teams in the Big Ten. That strategy has been solid, but it could be time to pivot soon.

The ACC has been a difficult conference to handicap this year. All the top teams are beatable week-to-week. Virginia, Georgia Tech and Pitt are the top-three teams in the standings, which would have been surprising at the start of the year.

2025 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-7 against the spread during the ninth week of the 2025 NFL season.

We have another week of with 14 games on the schedule.

I’ve been hovering around .500 for nearly the entire season. I needed to make some changes to my rankings after the midway point in the season. I moved some teams, but I didn’t do anything drastic.

The trade deadline was interesting this year. There were some big names that movies, but mostly on the defensive side. The Jets were the biggest seller at the deadline, but their season was already in the tubes.

2025 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week nine of the college football season, I went 17-8 against the spread.

As we head into November, we are still seeing a lot of non-hyped, conference games on the schedule.

The SEC still has some hard-to-predict marquee matchups, like Vanderbilt at Texas. No one would have thought this game would be must-see when they scheduled it a couple years ago.

Can Indiana continue to stay perfect and beat Maryland in College Park?

2025 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6 against the spread during the eighth week of the 2025 NFL season.

We are back to having fourteen games on the schedule this week.

We have a few marquee games this week. The biggest one being the Kansas City Chiefs travelling to Buffalo to face the Bills. Kansas City is on a roll and are playing like the best team in the league.

We have quite a few quarterbacks listed as day-to-day heading into this week’s games. Niners QB Brock Purdy, Arizona QB Kyler Murray and Washington QB Jayden Daniels playing statuses aren’t clear right now.

2025 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week eight of the college football season, I went 14-11 against the spread.

The big marquee games appear to be a bit underwhelming this week. It’s not surprising, as teams tend to save their bigger games for November. Teams are just crossing off mandated conference match-ups, which can be dangerous.

Keep an eye out for some upsets. Underdogs can sneak up and pick off some contenders during the doldrums of late-October college football.

Can Indiana continue to stay perfect and beat UCLA in Bloomington?

2025 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-7 against the spread during the seventh week of the 2025 NFL season.

We have a light schedule this week with six teams on a bye week.

There are quite a few games dealing with notable injuries at quarterback that could affect betting lines the closer we get to Sunday.

The major injury status to keep an eye on is Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, who just returned to practice, but as of Thursday morning, his status is up in the air for their game against the Bears.

In week seven of the college football season, I went 14-10-1 against the spread.

The Indiana Hoosiers had a coming-out party last year, but they were still getting no respect from the sportsbooks. After last week’s upset win at Oregon, they see their first bloated betting line of the year. Can they cover it against Michigan State?

I went 6-9 against the spread during the sixth week of the 2025 NFL season.

I got the panted beat off me last week. It was by far the worst week I’ve had against the spread, in the NFL or college football.

2025 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week six of the college football season, I went 10-15 against the spread.

Going into the season, the Red River Shootout looked to be a can’t miss game with a pair of talented quarterbacks, John Mateer and Arch Manning, but a lot has changed since the start of the year. It’s currently unknown if Mateer will play, and Manning has been very underwhelming.

Can the Indiana Hoosiers hang with one of the best teams in the Big Ten, the Oregon Ducks?

2025 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-8 against the spread during the fifth week of the 2025 NFL season.

I started out very rough with the early games, but was able to run the table on the afternoon games.

Last week, we saw a lot of outright upsets against perennial powerhouses. The Eagles, Bills and Chiefs all went down, which probably hasn’t happened in the same week in a long time.

2025 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

In week five of the college football season, I went 16-9 against the spread.

There are some real make-it-or-break-it type of games this week. A lot of teams need a win to potentially save their season. You have teams like Clemson and Florida, with another loss, they’d both could start the year 1-4. It would be catastrophic for their fanbases, and a coach’s seat will be getting rather toasty.

Can Vanderbilt pull off another upset of Alabama?

2025 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread during the fourth week of the 2025 NFL season.

I started out pretty rough with the early games, but nearly caught up with the late games on Sunday. I split the Monday night games, so I came up a game short of .500.

This is the start of the bye weeks, so we have four teams on bye. We also have a lame early-Sunday game in London, which have largely been dull outings.
