2020 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

I  went 12-12 against the spread last week.

Colleges are still struggling with COVID-19 outbreaks and a few games have already been cancelled/postponed from this weekend’s slate. As of Friday, all of the games I’ve picked are still scheduled to be played, but with positive numbers shooting up, it could still change.

The biggest game this weekend is Georgia at Alabama. It’s a shame that the Tide should be without head coach due to a positive COVID-19 test since this game will play such a huge factor in the SEC landscape.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 7 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (October 17th, 2020).

2020 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

daniel jones dottedI went 8-6 against the spread last week.

We are starting to get an firm grasp on which teams are potential playoff teams and which teams look like they could be headed in the ‘Tank for Trevor Lawrence’ direction.

We don’t have a Thursday night game this week, but we have two games Monday evening. They moved the game since the Bills played on Tuesday and it would have been insane if they were forced to play just two days later.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers heads to Tampa Bay on Sunday to face QB Tom Brady. Can the Bucs give the Packers their first loss?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 6

COVID-19 continues to be a challenge, but the NFL has been able to move games around so far. One game was cancelled last week and one was moved to Tuesday. Let’s hope this outbreak calms down since delaying games and moving games around will be more difficult later in the year.

We have a pretty good marquee game that will pit Packers QB Aaron Rodgers against Bucs QB Tom Brady. They haven’t played each other a ton in their careers, so it’s nice to see at least one more meeting before one of them call it quits.

There’s no Thursday night games this week, so you can take a couple extra days to tinker with your lineup.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers.

The Effect Of COVID-19 On The NFL

At the end of September 2020, the NFL experienced its first COVID-19 outbreak. Games were postponed between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans when several Titans players tested positive for coronavirus. Since then, the NFL has been attempting to stop the virus from spreading so that it does not affect future games.

There are growing concerns that more games will be canceled, or that the season may even be suspended. Imaginably there’s plenty of money at stake for the partners and the league. Television networks, including CBS, NBC, and ESPN, pay almost $6 billion each year to televise NFL games. Consumers may also suffer financially, (as these sports games are part of cable bill packages).

2020 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I didn’t have a good outcome against the spread last week.

I finished 11-14, by far the worst week I’ve had in a couple years. I want to chalk it up to having to pick 25 games from maybe 30 possible games. I usually pick the best 25 games out of maybe 50+ games on a full normal week. I can omit some games that are a bit too close to call. I don’t have that luxury this season, but that should change once some of the other conferences start to play later this Fall.

The marquee game of the week is Miami (FL) at Clemson. Can the Hurricanes upset the #1-ranked Tigers?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 6 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (October 10th, 2020).

2020 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-7 against the spread last week.

Last week, we had one cancelled game due to COVID-19 and it was rescheduled. The later these COVID-19 cancellations happen, the harder it will be to find a proper date to reschedule the game.

We aren’t free from more potential cancelled games this week. There are two games that are currently ‘off the board’ as of late Wednesday night. If those games aren’t cancelled, I will have picks up once the lines are available.

Can Chargers rookie QB Justin Herbert cover against the spread on Monday Night Football?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

kyler murray dotted finalThis will be the first time we see bye weeks this season…well, a bye week that was planned before the season started.

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are both out this week. You may need to figure out a replacement for QBs Aaron Rodgers & Matthew Stafford or RBs Aaron Jones & Adrian Peterson.

We are seeing more scoring this season than we have since the NFL/AFL merger. This could be due to some horrible pass defense from Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta and Houston. Is it too late in the season for any of these teams to fix this issue?

Will the Cowboys pass defense fare well against Giants QB Daniel Jones?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals.

You Don’t Need To Be A Professional Athlete To Improve Your Game

While the stakes might not be as high when it comes to improving your performance as an amateur sportsperson, there are still plenty of reasons to want to improve your game. Getting more physically fit, pushing yourself and seeing where your limits are, and the simple morale boost that comes from winning more often are all great motivators. However, without the strength and conditioning coaches, bespoke gym setups, and other advantages that professional athletes have, what are you supposed to do?

Is IV therapy worth it?

One of the tricks that athletes use that has become a lot more popular, as of late, is the use of IV therapy. Effectively, this is a method of directly delivering nutrients to your body that are absorbed into the bloodstream much more quickly and efficiently than by eating. It can have a whole range of different health benefits, such as ensuring that you stay hydrated out on the field, reducing the risk of injuries while working out, improving your body’s ability to improve muscle, and more. It can be a costly option for a short-lived boost, but if you’re committed to improving your game, there’s a lot of evidence to suggest that they can do the trick.

How Has COVID-19 Reshaped The Sporting World?

COVID-19 has had a massive impact on the world as a whole. It’s certainly changed the future of sports and definitely not for the better. From fake or empty crowds to delayed and canceled events, it’s difficult to see sports getting back to normal anytime soon. However, that doesn’t mean that they are no longer enjoyable. Indeed, there are still numerous ways to enjoy your favorite sports. But for now, let’s take a look at some of the most drastic changes to this industry and the pastimes that we love.

A Commitment To Safety

One of the most positive impacts that COVID-19 has had on the sporting world is that there does seem to be a massive commitment to safety. Big bosses are focused on protecting everyone from the players to the fans and of course the investors. This is certainly true if you look at how the NBA is now being managed. NBA players currently exist in a bubble that is based in Disney World of all places. The bubble ensures that players remain safe and that they can continue the season without the risk of passing on the virus. This process hasn’t gone completely smoothly but it’s certainly not the disaster that it could have been. It does seem as though other sports events will follow this same method to keep players safe in the future.

How Can You Keep Up with the Latest Sports News?

Sports fans like to know what’s going on in the world of their favorite sports. From the latest transfer news to injuries and the results of the last game, you don’t want to miss anything. But how can you keep up with everything that’s happening, especially if you follow several sports? There can be a lot going on at once, and filtering out the most important news from the gossip, rumors and fluff can be difficult. Fortunately, there are methods you can use to keep up with the latest news without wasting your time trying to find the most important stories.

Find Reliable Sources

Ensuring you get accurate news is essential when you follow a sport. It’s even more important if you’re the type of person to wage some money on the outcome of a game or any other event. Some stories that purport to be news are really just rumors and made-up items that will soon turn out to be false. That’s why it’s important to have reliable sources like www.soccity.net that aim to get to the heart of what’s really happening in your favorite sport. Look for sites that have a good track record for accurate news. They should report the facts, even if they might also have opinion pieces and more analytical items too.

Are you interested in improving your health? If so, then you might want to think about looking at the athletes. Professional athletes have numerous tricks and tips on how to keep your body and your health in the optimum condition. Let’s explore some of the best possibilities.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 5 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 12-10-1 with my college football picks last week.

The SEC kicked off last week and there were some teams that separated themselves from the pack. Mississippi State upset LSU in their debut. MSU head coach Mike Leach made the rest of the SEC aware that his air raid offense can do some damage in the conference.

The marquee game of the week is Auburn versus Georgia. The winner could jump into the top-three in the rankings.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 5 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (October 3rd, 2020).
