2022-23 NFL Week 18 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-6 against the spread last week.

Last week’s slate of games ended with such a horrible situation. Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest after he tackled Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. It was the scariest football injury situation that I’ve witnessed since Dennis Byrd or Mike Utley went down with neck injuries in the 90’s. We wish Hamlin a speedy recovery.

This week’s betting picks is lean heavily on different playoff scenarios. There are only a few playoff spots left, but a handful of teams could leapfrog each other if certain things happen.

2022 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL gambling picks will be short and sweet.

I have long-term neck issues that stem from two bad car accident I had many years ago. I am dealing with a rather serious flare up and both of my hands are numb. I tried to write up my usual weekly article, but it was taking way too long. Who knew that dragging your uncoordinated hands around a keyboard would cause so many typos.

2022 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-9 against the spread last week.

I’ve been hovering around .500 for the entire month of November and I start December with a stinker. I hope to break my steak of mediocrity with a strong finish to the regular season.

This will be our last week with byes and we will have full slate of sixteen games after this week. I love having more opportunities every week, especially now that the college football regular season is over.

2022 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread last week.

Another week, another near-.500 week for ole’ Sweetbob. I need to snap this streak and hopefully it will happen this weekend.

It was nice to not have a load of games on Thursday again. I really had to slam through all of my weekly content on Tuesday. I like to take my time on the picks, but it couldn’t happen during a Thanksgiving week.

I had a late start to this week’s content as I went to an All Elite Wrestling signing on Tuesday in Indianapolis. It was cool to meet my very nice, very evil hero Danhausen.

2022 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

I need a big week after back-to-back 7-6-1 weeks. I’ve traditionally been very strong on Thanksgiving, but we will see. One of these years I’ll go back and figure out my Thanksgiving record. I’m writing this up late-Wednesday night, so there isn’t time to do that this year.

We are starting to see more double-digit point spreads, which happens more and more from late-November through the end of the season.

Can the Chiefs cover a 15-point spread over the Rams?

2022 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-8-2 against the spread last week. It was by far my worst betting week in many years.

It was a brutal outcome after being on a three-week tear. You just have to shake it off, figure out what you missed and don’t let it happen again.

We don’t have a London game this week, but we have one in freaking Germany! I don’t know how I missed this when it was announced months ago. I had no clue they were expanding their normal England games and including various countries across the European Union.

Can the Packers pull off the upset against the Cowboys?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 9

There are a whopping six teams out on bye this week.

The Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers are all out.

You could still be in the market to replace a lot of flex-level fantasy players. There aren’t many studs on the bye teams this week, but your lineup could still be crippled.

How will the Jets offense fare against the Buffalo Bills?

2022 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-5 against the spread last week.

I had a shot at an eleven-win week, but I failed to cover in the primetime games on Sunday and Monday.

Many teams find themselves with a different starting quarterback than they had just a few weeks ago. The Colts made a change by naming QB Sam Ehlinger the starter over veteran Matt Ryan. Also, the Saints have given the keys to QB Andy Dalton, regardless of the health of Jameis Winston.

Can the Jets continue their hot start with a cover over the Patriots?

2022 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-4 against the spread last week.

I was finally able to crack a streak of .500-ish weeks. I was able to sweep the late-Sunday slate and all of the Primetime games. It was nice to get the monkey off my back, but I need to keep this going.

We have some quarterbacks that could return from injuries this week. Miami, New England and Dallas could all have their signal-callers in uniform this weekend.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 7

There are loads of top-tier fantasy football talent out on bye this week.

The Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles all have the week off.

It’s rare to see a bye week this loaded, as these four teams have some of most talented players in fantasy. You could be in the market to replace WR Justin Jefferson, QB Jalen Hurts, QB Josh Allen or WR A.J. Brown, which are all tall tasks.

2022 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

I’ve been hovering around .500 nearly every week this season. I need a big week to break away. I feel pretty solid about my picks this week.

We have two less games on the schedule due to bye weeks. There are a lot of home underdogs this week, are you going to take the bait?

It looks like we could see a couple starting quarterbacks return this week. Patriots QB Mac Jones and Cowboys QB Dak Prescott have a shot to suit up this weekend. Also, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has a small chance of playing as well.

Bye weeks are back!

The Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and the Houston Texans all have the week off.

Those teams don’t have the best records, but they have some fantasy studs on their teams. You could be in a position to find a replacement for RB Derrick Henry, WR Davante Adams or TE T.J. Hockenson.

Is Seahawks QB Geno Smith a worthy streaming option against the Cardinals?
