2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 14

This is the final week of bye weeks, so rosters should be more stable the rest of the season.

The Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles are all out on bye this week.

You could be in need of someone to replace Colts RB Jonathan Taylor, Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle or (maybe) Patriots QB Mac Jones in deeper leagues.

Will Titans QB Ryan Tannehill bounce-back from a bad performance and have a solid fantasy outing against the Jaguars?

The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams are the only two teams out on bye this week.

There are only a handful of top fantasy players out on bye this week, but honestly, after the Rams & Broncos performances last week, you needed a week away to calm down.

Will Bucs QB Tom Brady bounce-back from a sub-par performance?

2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

Last week was another weird overall week in the NFL. The Bills nearly lost to the Jaguars and the Cowboys were dominated by the Broncos.

The Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants and the Houston Texans are all out on bye this week.

There aren’t a ton of top fantasy players out on bye this week. There are a few studs on Cincinnati and the other teams have some startable wide receivers.

Which Titans running back is worth a spot on your roster?

2020 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 7

ryan tannehill dottedWe have a total of 14 games on the docket with four teams on bye.

The teams off this week are the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins and the Minnesota Vikings.

You could be needing to replace some important pieces of your fantasy team with Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Colts RB Jonathan Taylor and Vikings WR Justin Jefferson all out this week.

How will Patriots QB Cam Newton fare against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday?

2020 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

kyler murray dotted finalThis will be the first time we see bye weeks this season…well, a bye week that was planned before the season started.

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are both out this week. You may need to figure out a replacement for QBs Aaron Rodgers & Matthew Stafford or RBs Aaron Jones & Adrian Peterson.

We are seeing more scoring this season than we have since the NFL/AFL merger. This could be due to some horrible pass defense from Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta and Houston. Is it too late in the season for any of these teams to fix this issue?

Will the Cowboys pass defense fare well against Giants QB Daniel Jones?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 15

Baker Mayfield late 2019 dottedAfter the first week of the playoffs, are you in a good position or do you need a miracle to come back from a large deficit?

If you’re in a good position, I wouldn’t tweak your roster much this week unless one of your starters has a difficult match-up. If you’re losing headed into this week, it could be time for a hail mary. Could it be time for a complete roster overhaul or will a small roster tweak be the answer to your prayers.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 13

ryan tannehill dottedWe have full strength teams from this point until the end of the season, but it’s still important to look at match-ups. Even some of the better players in fantasy can run into a bad match-up.

You may begin to start having some tough decisions every week. That flex spot could be a hard one to pick. Bye weeks suck, but they can make decisions much easier since you don’t have many options. Don’t stress too much about it. I tend to stress a little, but once I make a decision, I set my lineup and forget it.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 13 of the 2019 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Ryan Tannehill of the Tennessee Titans.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

kyler murray dotted finalWe have a whopping six teams on bye this week.

The Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans have the week off. There are a few fantasy studs in that group that will be hard to replace.

You could be a tough position if you’re missing a few of your starters while on bye. You may need to trust a player you’ve never played before, so do your research and pay attention to the injury reports during the week.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 9

ryan tannehill dottedWe are back to having four teams on bye this week. We will be without the Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Falcons players.

There are a number of backup quarterbacks still starting this week. We will see one more now that the Broncos will sit Joe Flacco in favor of Brandon Allen. I would have mentioned the Bengals benching Andy Dalton for rookie Ryan Finley, but they are on bye this week.

Are the Titans a potential playoff contender with Ryan Tannehill under center?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Ryan Tannehill of the Tennessee Titans.

2015 NFL Team Preview: Miami Dolphins

funny weird miami dolphins 2015 NFL season previewA lot was made of the $96 million contract extension Ryan Tannehill signed this offseason. He is only 23-27 as the starter and the ridicule is somewhat warranted. Those people fail to look at the free agent quarterback pool and realize it was smarter to just dish out $45 million guaranteed to Tannehill over signing Ryan Fitzpatrick or Josh McCown.

The Dolphins have been mediocre for most of the last decade. Other than New England, the rest of the AFC East hasn’t exactly been the model of NFL efficiency. The Patriots have run amok and the rest of the division has been stuck running in place.

Can Miami knock the mighty Patriots off their pedestal?

Here is the 2015 NFL team preview for the Miami Dolphins.

2014 Fantasy Football Sleepers – Training Camp Edition

legarrette blount pittsburgh steelers 2014 fantasy footbal sleepersThe lull of the Summer has ended. NFL Players are reporting to training camp and I’m drooling all over my keyboard.

I know you guys are waiting for me to write my yearly over/under post, but I’m waiting a few more weeks before I feel comfortable making my final predictions. In the mean time, head over to SportsBettingInfo.com and glance over the lines.

This post is all about fantasy football sleepers. I’ve sorted them by position to make it easier to look through. I’ve mixed in the deep sleepers with ‘these players aren’t properly ranked’ sleepers. I’ve been pretty successful with my sleepers in the past and I hope to keep my hot streak intact.

Here are my early sleepers for the 2014 fantasy football season.
