2023 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Quarterbacks

Many of you will soon be drafting your fantasy football teams for the 2023 season. It’s nearly impossible to win a league these days without a stud quarterback. The days of owning LaDanian Tomlinson and plowing through the league are long over.

We all know the studs in fantasy and if you own a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen, barring an injury, you have a great head-start on the year. Unfortunately, not everyone can have those two men on your team, especially in a deep league.

In a fantasy draft, you usually don’t roll the dice and take a deep quarterback sleeper, unless you’re in a twenty-team league. I accrued a list that gets progressively more sleeper-ish as you read. There’s a mix of talent of guys who should be drafted in all standard leagues and, “I’ve never heard that name before” sleepers.

2023 NFL Divisional Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 4-2 against the spread and 2-4 with my over/under picks.

Most of the games were fun to watch and I love this week’s slate of playoff games. There are some interesting match-ups and a few young quarterbacks could move up a tier with a win this weekend.

I love that we don’t have any double-digit point spreads this week. We had many in the last few divisional game rounds in recent years.

Can the Jaguars continue their run with a win against the Chiefs?

2022 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

I’m glad to be back with my regular NFL betting content. I had a physical issue during the cold stretch and my arms were numb due to my ongoing neck issues. I deal with intermittent numbness, but this was next level. I had very little coordination in my hands and it made typing a slow, typo-ridden experience.

This time of the year, you need to be knowledgeable about different playoff-clinching scenarios. There are a few teams that can clinch spots and it doesn’t look like any team will bulk rest their starters.

2022 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6 against the spread last week.

Once again, I finished the week near-.500. It’s almost automatic at this point, but I hope that a full slate of games will end this streak of parity.

We only have one double-digit point spread this week. We usually have three of four double-digit betting lines this time of year. We will see way more in the coming weeks, so enjoy this week.

The Cardinals vs Broncos game might be the worst game of the year. I feel sorry for people in those regions.

2022 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

I need a big week after back-to-back 7-6-1 weeks. I’ve traditionally been very strong on Thanksgiving, but we will see. One of these years I’ll go back and figure out my Thanksgiving record. I’m writing this up late-Wednesday night, so there isn’t time to do that this year.

We are starting to see more double-digit point spreads, which happens more and more from late-November through the end of the season.

Can the Chiefs cover a 15-point spread over the Rams?

2022 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

It was a nice rebound after the previous week’s implosion. It wasn’t a fantastic outcome, but I was glad to come out (slightly) ahead again.

We don’t have an early European game this week, but we will see a Monday night game in Mexico. I can deal with that much better than the usual garbage we see in those games overseas.

The Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars are out on bye this week. Who should you stream to replace quaterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Geno Smith?

Injuries are hurting a few fantasy starters right now. Bill QB Josh Allen is dealing with an elbow injury and Raiders QB Derek Carr is missing a few of his favorite targets.

We are only a couple games away from Browns QB Deshaun Watson making his Browns debut. Is it time to add him to your bench?

2022 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-8-2 against the spread last week. It was by far my worst betting week in many years.

It was a brutal outcome after being on a three-week tear. You just have to shake it off, figure out what you missed and don’t let it happen again.

We don’t have a London game this week, but we have one in freaking Germany! I don’t know how I missed this when it was announced months ago. I had no clue they were expanding their normal England games and including various countries across the European Union.

Can the Packers pull off the upset against the Cowboys?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

We are back to only four teams on bye this week, but the teams are loaded with normal flex options and solid quarterbacks.

The Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens are all out.

Every bye team, except the Jets, welcome this bye week. They are dealing with injuries to key players. It’s another week for QB Mac Jones and the Ravens backfield to fully heal up.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 8

There are only two teams out on bye this week, but one of those teams is loaded with fantasy starters.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers are off this week. It’s a nice change of pace after last week’s stacked bye week slate.

You could still be in trouble if you have guys like TE Travis Kelce or QB Patrick Mahomes, but you should be in the market for a few less streaming players this week.

2022 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-4 against the spread last week.

I was finally able to crack a streak of .500-ish weeks. I was able to sweep the late-Sunday slate and all of the Primetime games. It was nice to get the monkey off my back, but I need to keep this going.

We have some quarterbacks that could return from injuries this week. Miami, New England and Dallas could all have their signal-callers in uniform this weekend.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 7

There are loads of top-tier fantasy football talent out on bye this week.

The Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles all have the week off.

It’s rare to see a bye week this loaded, as these four teams have some of most talented players in fantasy. You could be in the market to replace WR Justin Jefferson, QB Jalen Hurts, QB Josh Allen or WR A.J. Brown, which are all tall tasks.
