2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 16

We only have a few more weeks left of the season.

I’m thinking about ending my fantasy picks after next week. Week 18 is such an unpredictable week due to playoff scenarios and teams resting their starters. It’s just a crap shoot and you’re probably not looking for waiver wire pickups in the final week of the regular season.

We are starting to find some new fantasy football waiver wire targets who are on very bad teams. I would suggest looking at players like Texans WR Chris Moore.

2022 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-9 against the spread last week.

I’ve been hovering around .500 for the entire month of November and I start December with a stinker. I hope to break my steak of mediocrity with a strong finish to the regular season.

This will be our last week with byes and we will have full slate of sixteen games after this week. I love having more opportunities every week, especially now that the college football regular season is over.

2022 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread last week.

Another week, another near-.500 week for ole’ Sweetbob. I need to snap this streak and hopefully it will happen this weekend.

It was nice to not have a load of games on Thursday again. I really had to slam through all of my weekly content on Tuesday. I like to take my time on the picks, but it couldn’t happen during a Thanksgiving week.

I had a late start to this week’s content as I went to an All Elite Wrestling signing on Tuesday in Indianapolis. It was cool to meet my very nice, very evil hero Danhausen.

2022 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

I need a big week after back-to-back 7-6-1 weeks. I’ve traditionally been very strong on Thanksgiving, but we will see. One of these years I’ll go back and figure out my Thanksgiving record. I’m writing this up late-Wednesday night, so there isn’t time to do that this year.

We are starting to see more double-digit point spreads, which happens more and more from late-November through the end of the season.

Can the Chiefs cover a 15-point spread over the Rams?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 12

We finally don’t have to deal with any byes this week. You shouldn’t have to deal with holes in your lineup, unless you have a recently-injured player like TE Kyle Pitts or WR Wan’Dale Robinson.

You will have an awkward issue of having three games on Thursday. There are some injury question marks that play on Sunday, so should you roll the dice or play it safe by playing your backup that plays on Thanksgiving?

Now that the Niners offense is healthy, is QB Jimmy Garoppolo a must-start going forward?

Should you sit Packers QB Aaron Rodgers against the Eagles?

2022 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-8-2 against the spread last week. It was by far my worst betting week in many years.

It was a brutal outcome after being on a three-week tear. You just have to shake it off, figure out what you missed and don’t let it happen again.

We don’t have a London game this week, but we have one in freaking Germany! I don’t know how I missed this when it was announced months ago. I had no clue they were expanding their normal England games and including various countries across the European Union.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

We are back to only four teams on bye this week, but the teams are loaded with normal flex options and solid quarterbacks.

The Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens are all out.

Every bye team, except the Jets, welcome this bye week. They are dealing with injuries to key players. It’s another week for QB Mac Jones and the Ravens backfield to fully heal up.

How will the Bears offense fare against the Detroit Lions?

2022 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread last week.

I had a shot at an eleven-win week again, but the Bengals failed to show up against the Browns.

After this week, I feel like we will have a better idea which teams are contenders and which teams just benefited from an easier early season schedule. The Bills/Jets and Titans/Chiefs games are two examples of those contests.

There are three double-digit point spreads this week. Will any of them cover?

2022 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-5 against the spread last week.

I had a shot at an eleven-win week, but I failed to cover in the primetime games on Sunday and Monday.

Many teams find themselves with a different starting quarterback than they had just a few weeks ago. The Colts made a change by naming QB Sam Ehlinger the starter over veteran Matt Ryan. Also, the Saints have given the keys to QB Andy Dalton, regardless of the health of Jameis Winston.

Can the Jets continue their hot start with a cover over the Patriots?

2022 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-4 against the spread last week.

I was finally able to crack a streak of .500-ish weeks. I was able to sweep the late-Sunday slate and all of the Primetime games. It was nice to get the monkey off my back, but I need to keep this going.

We have some quarterbacks that could return from injuries this week. Miami, New England and Dallas could all have their signal-callers in uniform this weekend.

Can the Falcons stay perfect against the spread?

Bye weeks are back!

The Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and the Houston Texans all have the week off.

Those teams don’t have the best records, but they have some fantasy studs on their teams. You could be in a position to find a replacement for RB Derrick Henry, WR Davante Adams or TE T.J. Hockenson.

Is Seahawks QB Geno Smith a worthy streaming option against the Cardinals?

Which Dolphins running back should you start?

2022 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

We will see the first London game of the year, which are usually horribly-played games. I think the underdogs have won most of those games and expect a low-scoring affair.

The Raiders are 0-3 outright and against the spread right now. I thought they could be a potential playoff team at the start of the year. There is still a lot of football left to play. Can the Raiders turn this season around with a cover this week?
