2019 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 7-8 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills are on byes this week, which means there are two less games to bet on.

We are down to only two unbeaten teams this season…and four teams that have yet to win a game. Will any of these teams get rid of the zero in their records this week?

The Redskins and Dolphins face off this week in a game between two teams still looking for their first win on the year. Which team will end their drought on Sunday?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I apologize for getting my college football picks out this late, but my hosting company decided to migrate thousands of sites to larger servers…and didn’t get an email telling me this was going to happen. After it was moved, I had to call the security company that protects my site. The hosting company didn’t tell them the new IP address of the server and they had to add that manually. So, after 30 hours of random back-and-forth calls, it’s now fixed.

There are some huge games this week that could knock off a few conference championship contenders. Iowa vs Michigan and Auburn vs Florida are two must-watch games this week.

The Miami Dolphins are on bye week, but we still have our fair share of double-digit point spreads this week.

The Browns finally lived up to the hype last week when they beat the Ravens 40-25. They face the Niners on Monday Night and are actually 3.5-point underdogs. Can the Browns score an underdog win in the Bay Area?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 5 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread last week.

The college football landscape looks and feels a little different now that we saw the outcome of the Georgia/Notre Dame and Wisconsin/Michigan games. We can probably write off Michigan being any sort of Big Ten championship contender after that poor performance.

We are also making a shortlist of potential Heisman candidates. No one is running away with it yet, but conference play is just getting started. We should be able to cross off a few guys after this week.

2019 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 10-6 against the spread with my picks last week.

I’m really liking some of the nail biting fourth quarters this season. There have been so many point spreads covered late in games. It just didn’t happen much last year.

There were two 20+ point spreads last week (only one covered), but there aren’t any near that level this week. The Dolphins are huge underdogs (again), but they are only sixteen-point underdogs against the Chargers this week.

Can rookie quarterbacks Kyler Murray and Gardner Minshew lead upsets this weekend?

Was Daniel Jones just a one-week wonder?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 4 Betting Picks Against Spread

I started off strong this year and have stumbled a bit the last two weeks. I’m still over .500 on the year with the conference schedule starting for most teams this week.

There are some big Big Ten and SEC games this week. The Wisconsin/Michigan game is probably the marquee contest in the Big Ten this week. Michigan haven’t looked like the usual juggernaut and could be prime for a beating. In the SEC, Texas A&M/Auburn contest will be the one to watch.

2019 NFL Week 3 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 8-8 against the spread with my picks last week.

The slew of quarterback injuries have affected the point spreads quite a bit. On top of that, there’s a huge point spread in every Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots games. There are actually two point spreads this week greater than 21 points. That usually doesn’t happen until like Week 16, at the earliest.

Can the Patriots and Cowboys both cover a massive 21+ point spreads this week?

I started off strong this year and but just went 12-12-1 against the spread last week.

The key to staying hot while betting college football game is to not get too bogged down on the last week’s games. It’s important to stick with your own personal rankings and know when to bail on a team. Well, after the first couple weeks of the season, it is about time to think about jumping off a bandwagon. 2019 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

The first week of the 2019 NFL regular season is in the book. I finished 8-8 against the spread with my picks. I wasn’t burned too much by late-game comebacks as much as most as my picks mostly benefited from the late-game heroics last week.

A few young players had breakout games last week. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson had a perfect passer rating and shut up critics that he can only scramble. Can he continue the same success against the Cardinals this week?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 2 Betting Picks Against Spread

I started off strong this year and went 17-7-1 against the spread last week.

There aren’t a ton of marquee games this week. College football athletic directors know that most people are more geared up for the NFL season to begin this weekend. There are a ton of games where FBS teams take on easy wins against a small FCS schools.
