2023 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Quarterbacks

Many of you will soon be drafting your fantasy football teams for the 2023 season. It’s nearly impossible to win a league these days without a stud quarterback. The days of owning LaDanian Tomlinson and plowing through the league are long over.

We all know the studs in fantasy and if you own a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen, barring an injury, you have a great head-start on the year. Unfortunately, not everyone can have those two men on your team, especially in a deep league.

In a fantasy draft, you usually don’t roll the dice and take a deep quarterback sleeper, unless you’re in a twenty-team league. I accrued a list that gets progressively more sleeper-ish as you read. There’s a mix of talent of guys who should be drafted in all standard leagues and, “I’ve never heard that name before” sleepers.

2022 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL gambling picks will be short and sweet.

I have long-term neck issues that stem from two bad car accident I had many years ago. I am dealing with a rather serious flare up and both of my hands are numb. I tried to write up my usual weekly article, but it was taking way too long. Who knew that dragging your uncoordinated hands around a keyboard would cause so many typos.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 12

We finally don’t have to deal with any byes this week. You shouldn’t have to deal with holes in your lineup, unless you have a recently-injured player like TE Kyle Pitts or WR Wan’Dale Robinson.

You will have an awkward issue of having three games on Thursday. There are some injury question marks that play on Sunday, so should you roll the dice or play it safe by playing your backup that plays on Thanksgiving?

Now that the Niners offense is healthy, is QB Jimmy Garoppolo a must-start going forward?

Should you sit Packers QB Aaron Rodgers against the Eagles?

2022 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6-1 against the spread last week.

It was a nice rebound after the previous week’s implosion. It wasn’t a fantastic outcome, but I was glad to come out (slightly) ahead again.

We don’t have an early European game this week, but we will see a Monday night game in Mexico. I can deal with that much better than the usual garbage we see in those games overseas.

The Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars are out on bye this week. Who should you stream to replace quaterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Geno Smith?

Injuries are hurting a few fantasy starters right now. Bill QB Josh Allen is dealing with an elbow injury and Raiders QB Derek Carr is missing a few of his favorite targets.

We are only a couple games away from Browns QB Deshaun Watson making his Browns debut. Is it time to add him to your bench?

2022 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-8-2 against the spread last week. It was by far my worst betting week in many years.

It was a brutal outcome after being on a three-week tear. You just have to shake it off, figure out what you missed and don’t let it happen again.

We don’t have a London game this week, but we have one in freaking Germany! I don’t know how I missed this when it was announced months ago. I had no clue they were expanding their normal England games and including various countries across the European Union.

Can the Packers pull off the upset against the Cowboys?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

We are back to only four teams on bye this week, but the teams are loaded with normal flex options and solid quarterbacks.

The Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens are all out.

Every bye team, except the Jets, welcome this bye week. They are dealing with injuries to key players. It’s another week for QB Mac Jones and the Ravens backfield to fully heal up.

The Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers are all out.

You could still be in the market to replace a lot of flex-level fantasy players. There aren’t many studs on the bye teams this week, but your lineup could still be crippled.

There are loads of top-tier fantasy football talent out on bye this week.

The Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles all have the week off.

It’s rare to see a bye week this loaded, as these four teams have some of most talented players in fantasy. You could be in the market to replace WR Justin Jefferson, QB Jalen Hurts, QB Josh Allen or WR A.J. Brown, which are all tall tasks.

2022 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

We will see the first London game of the year, which are usually horribly-played games. I think the underdogs have won most of those games and expect a low-scoring affair.

The Raiders are 0-3 outright and against the spread right now. I thought they could be a potential playoff team at the start of the year. There is still a lot of football left to play. Can the Raiders turn this season around with a cover this week?

2022 NFL Week 3 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-8 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL betting picks was up later than I usually like due to attending an Alice Cooper concert on Tuesday and being in a Nyquil haze due to a lingering cough. It was a good time and I suggest seeing his show while he’s still out there.

There are a few surprise 2-0 teams against the spread right now. No one thought the New York Giants would be among that group, and the Detroit Lions occupy that space as well.

I went 5-9-2 against the spread last week.
