2018 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished a little under .500 last week, but felt some of my losses were still solid bets. There were two that were trap games in hindsight. Sometimes there is only so much a person can do with stats and a little luck.

I tried to stay away from a lot of the huge point spreads for in-conference games. I am only betting on those games if there is still some value left on the bone.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 7 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (October, 13th, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-7-1 against the spread last week.

I nearly had a heart attack after whiffing on most of the early games last week. I came back and made it back to even after nailing the late games and the Monday night game.

I decided to focus on home underdogs this week. They have been paying pretty well this year and I’ve missed on some this year. I’ve also been underrating defense. It’s easy to do since there are so many excellent offenses in the NFL.

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 6 of the 2018 NFL season.

2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 6

Have all your studs made it to Week 6 without suffering an injury? If so, you’re one of the lucky few. There have been a lot of injuries to key non-quarterback players this season.

The Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints are off this week. You could be in the market to replace guys like RB Alvin Kamara, RB Mark Ingram or QB Matthew Stafford.

There are some pretty significant injuries again this week. It seems like the trendy new injury is the hamstring. There are a half dozen good fantasy players that could be out again this week.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 6 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

reDRAFT – 2010 NBA Draft

With the 2018-19 NBA season set to tip-off this month, it’s time we look back at a past NBA Draft.

The 2010 NBA Draft was filled with future All-Stars and All-NBA talent. I would even say that a couple of the players could one day be in the Hall of Fame.

John Wall was drafted first overall by the Washington Wizards in 2010. He was the consensus best player in the draft. One could argue that the picks that immediately followed him were pretty bad. Who knows how well those teams would have been if the Sixers, Nets or Timberwolves would have selected DeMarcus Cousins or Paul George.

The Indiana Pacers did the most with their picks in the 2010 NBA Draft. They selected Paul George at #10 and Lance Stephenson at #40. Those players were a huge part of their playoff teams in the mid-10’s.

We look back at the 2010 NBA Draft and reDraft based on their careers so far.

2018 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 14-11 last week, but really lost steam when it came to the late games. I got off to a great start, but the Pac-12 games and two nationally-televised late games ruined what could have been a pretty epic week. I still finished three games above .500, which isn’t a total loss.

There are some big games this weekend that weren’t viewed as important before the season. Indiana travels to Ohio State and Texas A&M hosts undefeated Kentucky. No one circled those games before the year, but now they are pretty darn important.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 6 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (October, 6th, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

There were some close-to-the-betting-line games last week. There were three ties in my weekly bets. I still finished slightly under .500, which was aggravating. I missed two games by a point or less. I’m limping a little, but I’m feeling strong this week.

Vegas is predicting another week of close games. There is only one double-digit point spread and nearly half of the games are within a field goal. I may not have any nails left on my hands by Monday night.

The rookie quarterbacks were 0-4 outright last week. Will they bounce back this week?

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 5 of the 2018 NFL season.

2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

How are you doing through the first quarter of the regular season?

The Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are off this week. You could be in the market to replace guys like RB Jordan Howard, RB Tarik Cohen, WR Mike Evans or a defense.

There are some pretty significant injuries again this week. The Colts will be without WR T.Y. Hilton and TE Jack Doyle, and Jacksonville could be without RB Leonard Fournette again.

There are also some players that could return this week like the often-injured RB Devonta Freeman and the now un-suspended RB Mark Ingram.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of Los Angeles Rams Jared Goff.

Toy Crazy: Mattel’s WWE Elite Series 63

I’m a self-confessed vintage toy nerd. I collect vintage wrestling action figures from the 80’s & 90’s. I started purchasing some vintage toys out of nostalgia. Well, WWE and Mattel sucked me into their new stuff. I now buy a few figures a month. You can view photos of my collection on my Instagram account.

The lineup for WWE Elite series 63 is a mix of new and old. You have a guy like Shelton Benjamin that was well overdue for an elite, hot sellers like Shinsuke Nakamura and then a couple that may have a hard time selling, even during the holiday season.

The WWE Superstars included in Elite 63 Dusty Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Kane, Dean Ambrose and two Shelton Benjamin elites (yes, there’s a chase version).

Tips for Preparing for Deer Season This Year

While the number of hunters in the U.S. is on the decline, according to a 5-year study by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, dropping from 13.5 million to 11.5 million, there are still plenty out there, and if you’re one of them, you’re probably getting excited about the upcoming season and are already on the lookout for new AR-15 upper receivers to upgrade your gun for smooth transitions during the hunt. For the best odds of success, consider these tips so that you’ll be well-prepared when open day comes.

Don’t Wait Until the Last Minute to Get Your License

Be sure to obtain your hunting license well in advance of opening day to avoid red tape ruining the hunt. If you’re traveling out of state, it’s even more important as you’ll want to allow for lots of extra time in case of delays. Each state handles the way they process hunting licenses differently, with some taking much longer than others, not to mention the possibilities for delay through the U.S. postal service.

2018 NCAA Football – Week 5 Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished under .500 last weekend, but came out even after hitting on two upset moneyline plays.

It’s time to really adjust your rankings. Teams are now all in conference play and it’s important to remember non-conference game performance.

Also, it’s important to note that you can’t just look at a team’s past performance against a conference foe. There is a ton of data out there, but a lot of it is bad data. The turnover rate is too high in college football and most teams will not have certain impact players still at their school.

There are some traditional marquee games this weekend, like Ohio State at Penn State and Stanford at Notre Dame that should be fun television.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 5 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (September 29th, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 last week and missed two games by a half-point. I was also surprised by the Bills/Vikings and Jaguars/Titans outcomes. I did not have a very good overall week. I guess it should have been expected in a week with a ton of -3 games. It was going to be a difficult week to handicap.

This is another week with plenty close games. There are also some home underdogs worth keeping an eye on.

There are a handful of new quarterbacks starting this week. Rookie quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Josh Rosen make their first starts and Niners second-year QB C.J. Beathard takes over for injured Jimmy Garoppolo.

Will any of the new faces make an impact for their teams?

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 4 of the 2018 NFL season.
