2020 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5-1 against the spread last week. I was able to notch another ‘Perfect Thanksgiving’ on my belt (even if one of the games were pushed back nearly an entire week).

I was able to bounce-back from my first subpar week of the season. I made my picks earlier last week and I was lucky as all the disastrous COVID stuff didn’t mess with my picks.

There was some reshuffling with the schedule this week due to all the positive COVID tests. We have no Thursday night game, but we have two Monday night games and an extra Tuesday night game on the schedule.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 13 of the 2020 NFL season.

Can Kentucky Basketball Recover This Season?

The University of Kentucky’s record currently sits at 1-2, with back-to-back losses to Richmond and Kansas. They looked impressive in their opener with an 81-45 win over Morehead State, but that will now be forgotten thanks to this slide.

Kentucky head coach John Calipari has been able to turnover his roster most years thanks to elite recruiting classes he’s been able to sign. A handful of players go pro and a new elite class takes their spots. This season is an extreme example of that. Nearly every single player who is getting minutes right now, is new to the team. There are a ton of freshmen and transfers like center Olivier Sarr (Wake Forest) and guard Davion Mintz (Creighton) and forward Jacob Toppin (Rhode Island).

2020 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-13 against the spread last week.

There were well over a dozen games cancelled last week, but as of Wednesday night, there are only a few at this time, but that is most likely subject to change.

The first College Football Playoff rankings were released this week. Alabama tops the list with Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State and Texas A&M follow in that order.

Can Notre Dame stay among the top teams and win (and cover) against North Carolina?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 13 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (November 28st, 2020).

2020 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-8 against the spread last week.

This was my first week that I went under .500 this season. I had a rough stretch of afternoon games that really tanked my record for the week.

The Steelers/Ravens game was going to be the best game on Thanksgiving (by far), but due to Baltimore’s COVID-19 outbreak, it was moved to the early game schedule on Sunday.

Can I get another clean Thanksgiving sweep against the spread?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 12 of the 2020 NFL season.

Overview of Week 12 NFL Betting Action

Tons of action in the NFL as always and we’ll take a quick look at most of the games on the schedule to see if we can find any value in these games. With the playoffs soon approaching, every game takes on added meaning as teams battle for the home-field advantage which is the best way of making it to the Super Bowl.

Be Careful Betting on Thanksgiving

This week we have a treat with three Thursday games which is part of the NFL Thanksgiving tradition. We say be careful here because the temptation to bet games just because you will be home watching them is always going to be there. If you do that, you’re better off picking one of the three games instead of all of them. Not that there’s anything wrong with betting all of the games on Thanksgiving, because there isn’t. What we are saying is, this year’s edition has some weak games that seem very hard to call, especially the matchup between Dallas and Washington. These two teams have been so up and down that anyone that says they have a good read on who these teams are and how they play is at best reaching.

How Gaming Can Be Good For Your Health

Many people believe that gaming has no benefits. They think that gaming a lot will mean a decline in eyesight, weight gain, and many other health issues. Good news for those who enjoy gaming: this isn’t true! While too much of anything can be a bad thing, regular gaming practice could actually be good for your health. Here’s an idea of how moderate gaming could be good for your health:

Improved Cognitive Skills

Gaming has been closely linked to improved cognitive skills. When gaming, you need to think about your strategy and what you’re going to do next, which can lead to improved problem solving skills. It can also help you to concentrate and focus better in other activities outside of gaming. Many people also find that their hand eye coordination and reaction times improve with regular gaming.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-9 against the spread last week.

As of Thursday afternoon, there have been 14 college football games wither cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19. My guess is that there will be a couple more cancelled before Saturday.

The marquee game this week is Indiana at Ohio State. Can the Hoosiers shock the country and stay undefeated?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 12 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (November 21st, 2020).

2020 NBA Draft – Best Undrafted Players

The 2020 NBA Draft is two rounds and consists of just 60 picks, so not every good college basketball player will hear his name called. Many NBA teams opt to select players with a higher upside and some of those picks are foreign players they wish to just stash overseas.

There are still some very good players left to sign, but due to the pandemic, there is no Summer League to prove they belong in the league. Also, it’s unknown what sort of Gatorade League will happen for the 2020-21 season. This group of undrafted players will have some unique obstacles in their way.

Guys like Alex Caruso and Quinn Cook won an NBA title this year and they went undrafted in their respective draft classes.

This is not the end of the road for these players. There are many undrafted players in the NBA, so a few of these guys will still make their dreams come true in the future.

Here are the best undrafted players not selected in the 2020 NBA Draft.

2020 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-4-3 against the spread last week.

There have been some COVID-19 activity this week. There have been a few teams that have transferred players to the COVID-19 reserve list. The Las Vegas Raiders could miss many key players on defense this week.

The marquee game this week is the Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Monday Night Football.

How will Tom Brady fare against the Rams stout defense?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season.

Why Did Poker Becomes So Popular?

Some people believe that poker has always been around and part of the global stage. But when Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Data, and the rest of the Star Trek crew played it on the Enterprise in the 1980s, it was still pretty niche. The game didn’t command the kind of attention that it does today.

So why is poker so popular? Why do we now have entire TV channels, programs, and tournaments dedicated to it?

It’s Stranger Than Fiction

Poker isn’t just an exciting card game. Because of the size of the cash prizes associated with it, it also creates interesting stories.

Top Four Things You Need for An Off-Road Trip

The classic American Road Trip is fun no matter who you are, but if you’ve indulged in your inner Kerouac a few too many times, you likely want to find a different way to have an adventure. For anyone who cannot resist the allure that road trips bring, why not consider off-roading as a suitably high-octane replacement? However, before you go, you’ll need to know everything you need to make it safe and successful.

The Transport

It should go without saying, but your off-road adventure will quickly become stuck in the mud without the appropriate off-road vehicle. This means that, no, you cannot take your Tesla Model 3 into the backwoods or across the plains. Instead, you’ll need to find which Adventure Vehicles are right for you. These cars, vans, or 4x4s will come with enough engine torque to get you out of sticky situations, while the comfort and suspension can also ensure you tackle tricky non-roads with ease.
