I went 5-3 last week with my picks against the spread and over/under point totals during Divisional playoff games.

Last week’s games weren’t as crazy as the Wild Card weekend, but they were still a fun watch. The outcomes made for two interesting rematches from earlier this season.

Can Packers QB Aaron Rodgers spoil the Niners playoff run in his return to his hometown area?

Can the Titans use RB Derrick Henry’s legs to win their third-straight upset win and make it to the Super Bowl for the first time in 20 years?

Will Titans QB Ryan Tannehill pull a ‘Kurt Warner move’ and lead his team to the Super Bowl as a backup-turned-starting QB?

All-Name Team – 2020 XFL Players

The XFL starts next month and we went through the current rosters and players who were drafted into the league. There were some players that were once in our college football all-name teams, which was a fun bonus.

What makes a great football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the XFL (there are only eight). We went through the names and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

The Wild Card games were fun to watch last week. There were two that went into overtime and the other two games didn’t lack suspense with a pair of upsets.

Will the home teams start the game a little rusty after a week off or will the rest be a big factor in the game?

Will the Titans try to choke the game clock again this week in hopes of keeping Ravens QB Lamar Jackson off the field?

2020 NFL Wild Card Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished the year 145-109-7 against the spread during the NFL regular season.

Since there aren’t many games in the playoffs, I also pick over/under point totals as well.

These four games are pretty close, so we aren’t seeing any double-digit point spreads like we’ve seen the last few Wild Card Weekends.

Can the Seahawks win as a favorite while on the road in Philly this weekend?

Can the Patriots bounce back from a bad loss against the Dolphins?

2019 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-6-1 against the spread last week.

I delayed my weekly NFL betting picks by a few days due to Christmas and the fact that not every team out there have announced whether or not they will play their starters this week.

I also decided to not write a fantasy football article this week just due to how random Week 17 can be in fantasy. There are so many variables that can happen and if you’re behind by a lot in your championship game right now, it could be a rough road for a comeback.

There are a ton of games with importance this week, so it should be a rather competitive week. There are only a handful of games with nothing on the line.

Getting Back into Sports Following Injury

Injuries can occur at any time, and if you enjoy playing sports you’ll be all too familiar with this. The simple fact is that you could wind up with an injury from playing sports that might see you sidelined for a while. It even happens to the professionals, and they have all the conditioning and preparation us mere mortals are lacking, so should we really be surprised when it happens to us?!

2019 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

A few more playoff spots could be clinched this weekend. All of the potential playoff teams still have a lot to play for, so I don’t foresee any teams resting their starters.

There wasn’t a Thursday night game this week, but we do see our first Saturday games. There’s a couple of bangers on that day. The Bills/Patriots & Rams/Niners have playoff implications.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 16

Did you make the Super Bowl in your fantasy playoffs?

You are definitely one lucky guy if you made it to the championship game this season. There have been so many backup QBs and just oddball injuries to star fantasy players.

It’s always fun to go back to your fantasy draft this time of the year and look to see where certain players were drafted. There’s a chance that three or four players on your roster weren’t even drafted at all. It’s definitely been an odd year, but it’s been fun.

The Sports Gaining Some Traction Again

There are some sports that are always going to lead the way. The likes of soccer, football, and ice hockey are always going to be firm favorites in our great country. But those are the ones that are getting all of the limelight, and they’re on three out of the many that we could have mentioned. But what that tends to mean, is that there are some sports that get left in the shadows, with some even referring to them as not real sport, just because they’re not one of the more infamous options to watch. 2019 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-4-2 against the spread last week.

The playoff picture is becoming clear now that we are just three weeks away from the end of the regular season. It appears that the NFC East is the weakest link in the NFL. The winner of the division may only have a record of 9-7, but that’s only if the Eagles or Cowboys win the rest of their games (which is unlikely).

Can the Patriots get back to winning or can the Bengals score the upset on Sunday?

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 15

After the first week of the playoffs, are you in a good position or do you need a miracle to come back from a large deficit?

If you’re in a good position, I wouldn’t tweak your roster much this week unless one of your starters has a difficult match-up. If you’re losing headed into this week, it could be time for a hail mary. Could it be time for a complete roster overhaul or will a small roster tweak be the answer to your prayers.
