2013 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Need betting advice for the NFL games this weekend? We pick every game against the spread in Week 5 of the NFL season.

Now that fantasy baseball season ended (I won four out of the five leagues), I’m waist-deep in fantasy football and college & pro football point spreads…I can’t complain. It’s better than writing about June baseball games.

I had some nice wins last week, but missed on the Browns and Redskins.

2013 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

The fifth week of the college football season was very kind to me. I went 11-4 with my picks against the spread. I improved my overall record to 27-16-4 on the season.

Week six of the college football season (October 5th to be exact) is filled with a lot of fun games to watch. All the teams are in their conference schedule, with a few exceptions. We will start to see which teams are contenders and which teams clearly benefited from a weak non-conference schedule.

There are some huge Big Ten and Big 12 games on Saturday. You will know a lot more about Northwestern and Texas Tech after 10/5/13.

We answer those questions and pick against the spread for all the big college football games on Saturday…we also sneak in a few smaller games in the MAC and Mountain West conferences.

2013 NCAA Football – Week 5 Betting Picks Against Spread

Wow, I actually have my college football betting line post completed before Friday? I deserve a Pumpkin Spice Latté, or ‘PSL’ as it’s known in the suburbs and cul-de-sacs (I roll hard).

Horse Betting for Beginners

After years of betting on sports like football, basketball and baseball, I was looking for something new to try. It’s not like I perfected gambling on those sports, but I’ve always been curious about horse betting.

Before I went into it head first, I needed to do my research first. I wanted to give myself the best odds of winning. I had to learn about the sport and why people love putting “a few dimes on a pony.”

As I read about the sport, I realized how little I actually knew about horse racing. I’m a big fan of straight odds, but there are some interesting prop bets on the board that should interest many gamblers.
