2022 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-6 against the spread last week.

Once again, I finished the week near-.500. It’s almost automatic at this point, but I hope that a full slate of games will end this streak of parity.

We only have one double-digit point spread this week. We usually have three of four double-digit betting lines this time of year. We will see way more in the coming weeks, so enjoy this week.

The Cardinals vs Broncos game might be the worst game of the year. I feel sorry for people in those regions.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 15

We will have full slates of games for the rest of the season.

You may have most of your roster set in stone, but there are always improvements to be made. I always look at which defenses I can stream and look to see there is an improvement I can pick up for one of my flex spots.

I try to suggest some under-the-radar adds for deeper leagues, and unless its a quarterback, I rarely add anyone above 90% ownership.

This week’s edition is pretty bare bones due to a time crunch. I make my sit/start suggestions, but I don’t have any commentary next to my picks. Next week’s edition will go back to my in-depth approach.

2022 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-4 against the spread last week.

I was finally able to crack a streak of .500-ish weeks. I was able to sweep the late-Sunday slate and all of the Primetime games. It was nice to get the monkey off my back, but I need to keep this going.

We have some quarterbacks that could return from injuries this week. Miami, New England and Dallas could all have their signal-callers in uniform this weekend.

Can the Falcons stay perfect against the spread?

2022 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

I’ve been hovering around .500 nearly every week this season. I need a big week to break away. I feel pretty solid about my picks this week.

We have two less games on the schedule due to bye weeks. There are a lot of home underdogs this week, are you going to take the bait?

It looks like we could see a couple starting quarterbacks return this week. Patriots QB Mac Jones and Cowboys QB Dak Prescott have a shot to suit up this weekend. Also, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has a small chance of playing as well.

2022 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-6-2 against the spread last week.

I was glad to see a winning record again after two bland weeks. A couple teams that I had ranking high, but fell on their faces in the first couple games, are finally playing up to their talent level. I expect the Raiders and Bengals will have some tempting point spreads the next couple weeks.

We have a couple games with big question marks at quarterback. The Patriots look to be starting rookie QB Bailey Zappe and the Cowboys are currently unsure if QB Dak Prescott will be healthy enough to suit this week.

How will the Bengals fare against the Baltimore Ravens?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 1

I’m so happy to have fantasy football back!

Hopefully we can make it throughout the season without having to track all of your fantasy team’s temperatures and testing statuses.

We have a lot of new faces in new places and the biggest is probably the cover boy this week, Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson. He is expected to have a big year, and uh, let’s ride!

The Bills and Rams kickoff the season on Thursday Night Football. Are there any sleepers on those teams this year?

2021 NFL Week 18 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 5-9-2 against the spread last week.

2021 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread last week.

COVID-19 is still running roughshod through the NFL. The list of players in COVID protocol keeps growing every single day. Luckily, asymptomatic players should be able to get off the list faster than in previous weeks due to new guidelines.

I would suggest placing your bets on Saturday night to try to avoid surprises. I was lucky last week and my bets weren’t destroyed by new COVID cases. Last week, I placed my bets Wednesday evening and I wouldn’t advise that unless you want to lock in an advantageous point spread.

Can the Los Angeles Rams cover on the road against Baltimore?

2021 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-6 against the spread last week.

COVID-19 is running rampant in NFL locker rooms right now. I had to delay my betting picks by a day last week just due to the flood of names coming in. I had to delay it again this week due to games being pushed back to Tuesday night.

I fully expect some more game-changing names to land in COVID protocols by this weekend. I fear it will be like this until the Super Bowl.

2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 13

I had a rough week with my betting picks, but my fantasy picks were some of my best recommendations this season.

The Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers are all out on bye this week.

There aren’t a ton of top fantasy performers out this week, so you may not want to tinker with your lineup a ton. We suggest a few deeper league options this week to help those fantasy owners.

2021 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread last week.

I’ve had a couple up and down weeks recently, so it was nice to have big week heading into Thanksgiving.

Historically, I’ve done very well on Thanksgiving. I’ve had multiple three-team parlays hit over the years and I once had a streak of twelve-straight covers over the course of three Thanksgivings.

I hope I didn’t just jinx myself for bringing that up.

2021 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-8 against the spread last week.

I’ve had a couple rough weeks after a strong first-half of the season. It was time to pivot and move around some of my personal team rankings.

After a week full of double-digit spreads, we only have two on the docket this week. It is a welcomed change as double-digit NFL spreads can be hard to handicap.

The Cowboys/Chiefs game is the marquee contest this week. Both teams are coming off blowout wins. Can the Chiefs cover at home?
