2025 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 1

I’m so happy to have fantasy football back!

This year’s class of rookie quarterbacks are bucking the recent trend of starting right away. QB Cam Ward (Tennessee Titans) is the only rookie quarterback starting in the opening week.

We have a lot of new faces in new places across the league. Veteran quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers and Geno Smith are on new teams. Will any of them shine this weekend?

2015 NFL Team Preview: New York Jets

Rex Ryan got the boot this offseason and the Jets hired another defense-first head coach. Todd Bowles improved the Arizona Cardinals defense and turned them into one of the best in the league. Defense isn’t the problem in New York…it’s their piss-poor offense that will cause their downfall in 2015.

Quarterback Geno Smith will start the season on bench with a broken jaw. A linebacker teammate punched him during training camp after Smith refused to reimburse the teammate for travel expenses to an event Smith never showed up for. Here’s some advice, kids…don’t piss off someone whose job is to hit people for a living.

2012 Heisman Trophy Betting Odds & Predictions

Robert Griffin III and Cam Newton were the last two winners of the Heisman trophy. What do these two men have in common, other than their position? Neither were listed on any preseason Heisman Trophy shortlists.

When you look back over the last few years, the player listed as the preseason favorite to win the Heisman, went home empty. You could blame the changing offenses in college, how people believe the best NFL prospect should be the favorite (even though that doesn’t always translate into dominance in college) or the emergence of non-BCS schools that come out of nowhere.
