2022 NFL Week 3 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-8 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL betting picks was up later than I usually like due to attending an Alice Cooper concert on Tuesday and being in a Nyquil haze due to a lingering cough. It was a good time and I suggest seeing his show while he’s still out there.

There are a few surprise 2-0 teams against the spread right now. No one thought the New York Giants would be among that group, and the Detroit Lions occupy that space as well.

Can the Giants and Lions continue their hot betting streak?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 3

Kirk Cousins dottedHow are you feeling after Week 2?

It could be time to dump some of your preseason sleepers. You’ve had two games to assess them, and if they are getting many touches, they are dead weight.

Sleepers aren’t the only roster spots you could cut, as quarterbacks like Denver’s Russell Wilson and Indy’s Matt Ryan aren’t scoring enough points for you to win games.

How will Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa fare against the Buffalo Bills?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings.

2022 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

I had a good overall record after the early games, but some late comebacks in the late games threw me back down to around .500 for the week.

There were some surprises in Week 1 that affected my team rankings this preseason. I don’t think the Colts are as good as I expected, and the Commanders had some moments last week that surprised me, in a good way.

Will Packers QB Aaron Rodgers figure out life without former wide receiver Davante Adams?

Can Bengals QB Joe Burrow bounce-back from last week’s poor outing?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 2

After Week 1, are you happy with your team or are you contemplating throwing it in the garbage?

There were a handful of hyped up fantasy studs who failed to impress in Week 1 (I’m looking at you, Cam Akers). It’s hard to dump a player after just one game, but you should always be looking to improve your team. The waiver wire will be crazy and I want to give you a few options to target this week.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hand) suffered an injury last week and will miss six-to-eight games. Which quarterback should you pick up as a replacement?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Jameis Winston of the New Orleans Saints.

2022 NFL Week 1 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Are you ready to place your bets?

I went 155-129-6 against the spread last season. I hope this season will be a little less erratic with pandemic issues. We’ve had a good run of late, so let’s hope a new variant doesn’t pop up and screw up a bunch of games this Fall.

There was a huge turnover with starting quarterbacks this offseason. A lot of new faces in new places. Will any of these veteran quarterbacks turn back the clock and play like their peak?

How will Trey Lance, Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence fare in Year 2?

Can Tua Tagovailoa take a big leap and lead the Dolphins to a successful year?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season.

2021 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-6 against the spread last week.

COVID-19 is running rampant in NFL locker rooms right now. I had to delay my betting picks by a day last week just due to the flood of names coming in. I had to delay it again this week due to games being pushed back to Tuesday night.

I fully expect some more game-changing names to land in COVID protocols by this weekend. I fear it will be like this until the Super Bowl.

Will the Buccaneers bounce-back from a shut-out loss?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 16 of the 2021 NFL season.

2021 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Baker Mayfield late 2019 dottedI went 7-7 against the spread last week. The late games on Sunday bailed me out or the week would have been a disaster.

We have had back-to-back weird weeks in the NFL. Hell, the Jets and Jaguars are playing pretty well right now, so that’s weird in itself.

We have five double-digit point spreads this week. The favorites have actually covered more double-digit spreads than they’ve failed this season.

Will the Bills rebound from last week’s close win over the Jaguars and cover against the Jets?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season.

2021 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Jimmy Garoppolo San Francisco 49ers dottedI went 9-4 against the spread in Week 7.

After going .500 in the early Sunday games, I ran the table the rest of the day.

We nearly have a full schedule of games with only two teams on bye. We also have a few double-digit point spreads (again) this week. We will be seeing more and more of those going forward. I’m curious to see if we break an all-time record for them due to the new 17-game season.

Can Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes bounce-back from a rough week and look like his old self against the Giants on Monday Night Football?

Can the Detroit Lions get their first win?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season.

2021 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-6 against the spread in Week 6.

I had a rough start with my noon game picks, but was perfect in the afternoon slate of games. I want to thank the Cowboys for scoring a touchdown in overtime instead of just trying to get a field goal.

There are only 13 games on the schedule due to six teams being out on bye.

There are three games with double-digit point spreads. Will any of the favorites cover the large spreads?

How will Seattle QB Geno Smith fare in his second start with the team?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 7 of the 2021 NFL season.

2021 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-5 against the spread (again) in Week 4.

There are some big games on the schedule this week. I think we will have an idea of which teams are potential playoff teams after this week.

There are a few injuries to keep an eye on going into the weekend. Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater is in concussion-protocol, Niners QB Jimmy Garoppolo has a calf injury that may or may not force him to miss this week and Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey could return this week. All three of those players statuses are up in the air.

How will Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes manage against the Bills #1 ranked defense?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season.

2020 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Mason Rudolph dottedI went 8-8 against the spread last week.

I would have been above .500 last week, but Washington decided to hold off QB Alex Smith for another week. I wouldn’t have laid a single penny on Dwayne Haskins if I had known he was getting the start last week.

There are a lot of different potential playoff scenarios this week. I tried to mention every single option to give you an idea which teams have something left to play for in Week 17.

Can the Steelers backups keep it close the Browns?

2020 NFL Week 16 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-6-1 against the spread last week.

I’ve been strong the last few weeks and made up for some average weeks to start the season.

It’s time to start looking up certain playoff scenarios and if a team has any motivation to rest their starters. I don’t see of that this week since there is only one first-round bye in this year’s playoffs, and neither has been clinched in either conference.

Can the Steelers stop their slide and cover against the Colts on Sunday?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 16 of the 2020 NFL season.
