2022 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 9-7 against the spread last week.

Another week, another near-.500 week for ole’ Sweetbob. I need to snap this streak and hopefully it will happen this weekend.

It was nice to not have a load of games on Thursday again. I really had to slam through all of my weekly content on Tuesday. I like to take my time on the picks, but it couldn’t happen during a Thanksgiving week.

I had a late start to this week’s content as I went to an All Elite Wrestling signing on Tuesday in Indianapolis. It was cool to meet my very nice, very evil hero Danhausen.

Can the Cowboys cover a double-digit point spread against the Colts?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 12

We finally don’t have to deal with any byes this week. You shouldn’t have to deal with holes in your lineup, unless you have a recently-injured player like TE Kyle Pitts or WR Wan’Dale Robinson.

You will have an awkward issue of having three games on Thursday. There are some injury question marks that play on Sunday, so should you roll the dice or play it safe by playing your backup that plays on Thanksgiving?

Now that the Niners offense is healthy, is QB Jimmy Garoppolo a must-start going forward?

Should you sit Packers QB Aaron Rodgers against the Eagles?

2022 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-8-2 against the spread last week. It was by far my worst betting week in many years.

It was a brutal outcome after being on a three-week tear. You just have to shake it off, figure out what you missed and don’t let it happen again.

We don’t have a London game this week, but we have one in freaking Germany! I don’t know how I missed this when it was announced months ago. I had no clue they were expanding their normal England games and including various countries across the European Union.

Can the Packers pull off the upset against the Cowboys?

2022 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-5 against the spread last week.

I had a shot at an eleven-win week again, but the Bengals failed to show up against the Browns.

After this week, I feel like we will have a better idea which teams are contenders and which teams just benefited from an easier early season schedule. The Bills/Jets and Titans/Chiefs games are two examples of those contests.

There are three double-digit point spreads this week. Will any of them cover?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 9

There are a whopping six teams out on bye this week.

The Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers are all out.

You could still be in the market to replace a lot of flex-level fantasy players. There aren’t many studs on the bye teams this week, but your lineup could still be crippled.

How will the Jets offense fare against the Buffalo Bills?

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 8

There are only two teams out on bye this week, but one of those teams is loaded with fantasy starters.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers are off this week. It’s a nice change of pace after last week’s stacked bye week slate.

You could still be in trouble if you have guys like TE Travis Kelce or QB Patrick Mahomes, but you should be in the market for a few less streaming players this week.

Can Daniel Jones continue his nice streak of solid fantasy numbers?

The Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and the Houston Texans all have the week off.

Those teams don’t have the best records, but they have some fantasy studs on their teams. You could be in a position to find a replacement for RB Derrick Henry, WR Davante Adams or TE T.J. Hockenson.

2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

Bye weeks will begin next week, are you ready?

The days with ample amount of players on the waiver wire will be over soon. It’s smart to prepared yourself right now and pick up a few guys to maybe stash away for a bye week…although, injuries can ruin all of your future plans.

It looks like we will see at least two rookie quarterbacks this week. The Steelers gave the starting role to QB Kenny Pickett and the Patriots need rookie QB Bailey Zappe to step into that role due to multiple injuries at the position.

How will the rookie quarterbacks fare in Week 5?

2022 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-9 against the spread last week.

We will see the first London game of the year, which are usually horribly-played games. I think the underdogs have won most of those games and expect a low-scoring affair.

The Raiders are 0-3 outright and against the spread right now. I thought they could be a potential playoff team at the start of the year. There is still a lot of football left to play. Can the Raiders turn this season around with a cover this week?

2022 NFL Week 3 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-8 against the spread last week.

This week’s NFL betting picks was up later than I usually like due to attending an Alice Cooper concert on Tuesday and being in a Nyquil haze due to a lingering cough. It was a good time and I suggest seeing his show while he’s still out there.

There are a few surprise 2-0 teams against the spread right now. No one thought the New York Giants would be among that group, and the Detroit Lions occupy that space as well.

It could be time to dump some of your preseason sleepers. You’ve had two games to assess them, and if they are getting many touches, they are dead weight.

Sleepers aren’t the only roster spots you could cut, as quarterbacks like Denver’s Russell Wilson and Indy’s Matt Ryan aren’t scoring enough points for you to win games.

2022 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

I had a good overall record after the early games, but some late comebacks in the late games threw me back down to around .500 for the week.

There were some surprises in Week 1 that affected my team rankings this preseason. I don’t think the Colts are as good as I expected, and the Commanders had some moments last week that surprised me, in a good way.

Will Packers QB Aaron Rodgers figure out life without former wide receiver Davante Adams?

Can Bengals QB Joe Burrow bounce-back from last week’s poor outing?
