2024-25 College Football Playoff Betting Picks Against Spread – 1st Round

I went 6-2 against the spread in the final regular season week of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I usually don’t do too many college football betting posts after the regular season. It’s hard to do weekly betting picks for bowl games due to all the transfer portal and the coaching carousel changes. This year, due to the new College Football Playoff format, it’s much easier to do the playoff games.

Can the Indiana Hoosiers shut up the haters and win in South Bend?

2024 NCAA Football – Week 15 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 14 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I have struggled down the stretch. I opened the year with some big weeks, but the tail-end of conference play has been rough.

We only have a handful of games this week, so we will pick every single game against the spread.

There were a lot of teams that shuffled to new conferences last offseason. Will any of those new teams take home their conference trophy?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick EVERY college football games against the spread for Conference Championship Weekend of the 2024-25 NCAA Football season (November 30th, 2024).

2023 NCAA Football – Week 14 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had another middle-of-the-road week with a 12-12-1 record in Week 12.

We have some weird games on the schedule for Championship Week. Michigan faces a weird Iowa squad that has almost zero offense and lives via their outstanding defense. Also, Louisville faces Florida State, who lost their star QB Jordan Travis due to a gruesome lower leg injury.

One of the bigger games of the year seems to be a bit of an after-thought since Alabama hasn’t been as dominant as in past years. Can Georgia cover the near-touchdown point spread in the SEC Championship game?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 14 of the 2023-24 NCAA Football season (December 1st, 2023).

2022 NCAA Tournament: Which Bubble Teams Didn’t Get In?

There are 358 Division-I teams in college basketball eligible for the postseason 2022 NCAA Tournament. Obviously, not every team can get an invite.

These teams were all on the bubble, but failed to make it into the field of 68.

There were a few upsets in conference tournaments this year. Many deserving teams were left out of the field of 68.  I was surprised a few times during the Selection Show, but I feel good about the field overall.

How many SEC bubble teams missed the cut?

Here is a list of bubble teams which had their bubble burst.

BYU Cougars (22-10) – The Cougars needed to win the West Coast Conference tournament to get in. There were just too many good-to-great teams in their conference and the WCC weren’t going to get four teams in the Big Dance.

2021 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 17-8 against the spread last week.

I had my best betting week of the college football season. I started the season with a couple rough-to-average weeks, but have been racking up wins more down the stretch.

The Big Ten has some big games this week. Michigan at Michigan State, Penn State at Ohio State and Iowa at Wisconsin are all must-watch games.

I’m keeping an eye on Florida State at Clemson. It’s a must-win for Clemson as they’re struggling right now. I think Florida State has a shot at the upset.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 9 of the 2021-22 NCAA Football season (October 30th, 2021).

2019 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

2019-College-Football-Picks-Against-the-Spread-Week-10-NCAA-Oregon-Ducks-cheerleadersI went 12-13 against the spread with my college football picks last week.

I really need to have back-to-back solid weeks with my college football picks. I’ll have a great week that is followed by one that’s around .500. I feel pretty good about my picks this week and to get back on track.

There are a handful of marquee games this weekend. Georgia at Florida might be the most relevant in the big picture when it comes to the College Football Playoff. I would even say that SMU at Memphis could even be seen as being more relevant as SMU is still undefeated this late into the year.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 10 of the 2019-20 NCAA Football season (November 2nd, 2019). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2019 NCAA Football – Week 5 Betting Picks Against Spread

2019 College Football Picks Against the Spread Week 5 NCAA USC Trojans song girls cheerleadersI went 14-10-1 against the spread last week.

The college football landscape looks and feels a little different now that we saw the outcome of the Georgia/Notre Dame and Wisconsin/Michigan games. We can probably write off Michigan being any sort of Big Ten championship contender after that poor performance.

We are also making a shortlist of potential Heisman candidates. No one is running away with it yet, but conference play is just getting started. We should be able to cross off a few guys after this week.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 5 of the 2019-20 NCAA Football season (September 28th,, 2019). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2015 March Madness: #6 SMU vs #11 UCLA

sad Steve Alford 2015 March Madness NCAA Tournament bubble teamUCLA lost a lot of talent to the NBA this offseason. Jordan Adams, Kyle Anderson and Zach LaVine were all drafted while Travis Wear caught on with an NBA team after Summer League. That’s a lot of talent that has gone bye bye.

SMU and their head coach Larry Brown (who always looks like he can’t find his keys) have been nearly automatic since early-season losses. They have learned to be patient with the ball. The Mustangs finished the regular season in the top 25 in both assists per game and field goal percentage.

Can Alford quiet all the ‘UCLA shouldn’t be the tournament’ naysayers?

Who do you think will win? We help you fill out your bracket.
