2020 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

daniel jones dottedI went 7-7 against the spread last week.

I was able to make a comeback last week after having a rough stretch in the early games, but nearly ran the table the rest of Sunday.

There are some COVID-19 issues on the Ravens right now, but they think it’s under control. They added seven to the COVID-19 reserve list. They haven’t had any positive tests since.

A few teams are dealing with quarterback injuries and we will see two new faces starting this week for the Cowboys and Jaguars.

How will Jaguars rookie QB Jake Luton fare against the Texans?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

daniel jones dottedI went 8-6 against the spread last week.

We are starting to get an firm grasp on which teams are potential playoff teams and which teams look like they could be headed in the ‘Tank for Trevor Lawrence’ direction.

We don’t have a Thursday night game this week, but we have two games Monday evening. They moved the game since the Bills played on Tuesday and it would have been insane if they were forced to play just two days later.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers heads to Tampa Bay on Sunday to face QB Tom Brady. Can the Bucs give the Packers their first loss?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

kyler murray dotted finalThis will be the first time we see bye weeks this season…well, a bye week that was planned before the season started.

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are both out this week. You may need to figure out a replacement for QBs Aaron Rodgers & Matthew Stafford or RBs Aaron Jones & Adrian Peterson.

We are seeing more scoring this season than we have since the NFL/AFL merger. This could be due to some horrible pass defense from Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta and Houston. Is it too late in the season for any of these teams to fix this issue?

Will the Cowboys pass defense fare well against Giants QB Daniel Jones?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals.

2020 NFL Wild Card Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

Kirk Cousins dottedI finished the year 145-109-7 against the spread during the NFL regular season.

Since there aren’t many games in the playoffs, I also pick over/under point totals as well.

These four games are pretty close, so we aren’t seeing any double-digit point spreads like we’ve seen the last few Wild Card Weekends.

Can the Seahawks win as a favorite while on the road in Philly this weekend?

Can the Patriots bounce back from a bad loss against the Dolphins?

We pick every NFL Wild Card Weekend game against the spread.

2019 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

derrick henry dottedI went 10-4-2 against the spread last week.

The playoff picture is becoming clear now that we are just three weeks away from the end of the regular season. It appears that the NFC East is the weakest link in the NFL. The winner of the division may only have a record of 9-7, but that’s only if the Eagles or Cowboys win the rest of their games (which is unlikely).

Can the Patriots get back to winning or can the Bengals score the upset on Sunday?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 15 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Week 10 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I had a rough 5-8-1 record last weekend.

Pretty bad outcome with last week’s picks. Not only that, but I’ve been dealing with either carpal tunnel syndrome or an arthritic thumb, which makes it pretty darn annoying to type or even play video games (I bought NBA 2k20 recently and it is collecting dust by my Xbox One). I have to wear a dumb brace until I get it checked out further later this week.

Enough about my woes, it’s time to turn my luck around and get back on track with my NFL picks against the spread. Let’s do this!

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 10 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Kirk Cousins dottedI finished 10-5 against the spread with my picks last week.

I lost the Thursday game last week, but killed it in the early games on Sunday. I felt I made some smart picks in a week that saw a lot of close calls near the points spread.

I wanted to wait until Wednesday night to make my picks to the NFL trade deadline ending earlier this week. There weren’t any big trades and the teams are all roughly the same. I think the biggest trade may have been when the Dolphins traded RB Kenyan Drake to the Cardinals for a low draft pick…so it was a bland deadline.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Jimmy Garoppolo San Francisco 49ers dottedI finished 7-7 against the spread with my picks last week.

I struggled during the early games on Sunday, but did hit the rare trifecta of Primetime games (Thursday, Sunday and Monday). I needed those games to break even for the week.

The NFL trade deadline is October 29th. There have been a few trades that happened this week and chances are that a couple may still happen before this week’s slate of games. Keep an eye on the transactions and it could be smart to try and bet later in the week to avoid any possible blockbuster trades. My gut thinks the trades may be done for the week and next week will be the week where trades could screw up any early week bets.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 8 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 8-6 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are on byes this week. There are 14 NFL games on the betting schedule in Week 7.

There are still only two unbeaten teams left in the NFL. The Patriots and 49ers put their records on the line this week. As far as the winless teams go, one was eliminated last week when the Redskins by the Dolphins. We are now just left with the Dolphins and Bengals.

Will either winless team get their first dub this week?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 7 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Jared Goff dottedI finished 7-8 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills are on byes this week, which means there are two less games to bet on.

We are down to only two unbeaten teams this season…and four teams that have yet to win a game. Will any of these teams get rid of the zero in their records this week?

The Redskins and Dolphins face off this week in a game between two teams still looking for their first win on the year. Which team will end their drought on Sunday?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 6 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

baker mayfield cleveland browns dottedI finished 8-7 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Miami Dolphins are on bye week, but we still have our fair share of double-digit point spreads this week.

The Browns finally lived up to the hype last week when they beat the Ravens 40-25. They face the Niners on Monday Night and are actually 3.5-point underdogs. Can the Browns score an underdog win in the Bay Area?

Will any backup quarterbacks lead their teams to a cover this week?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

The Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins are on bye during Week 5. Sadly, this means that you won’t have an easy team for a fantasy defense this week.

We are only through four games and we’ve lost around a 1/3rd of the starting quarterbacks due to injuries and ineffectiveness. We lost more last week with Mitchell Trubisky (injury) and Case Keenum (garbage throws) getting replaced during the games.

Which backup quarterbacks are worth a roster spot?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Philip Rivers of the Los Angeles Chargers.
