2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 6

Are you ready for the start of the dreaded bye weeks?

The Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers all have the week off. Luckily, these teams aren’t full of fantasy football studs.

Even though there aren’t a ton of automatic starts on those teams, you may need to fill a flex spot or a defense this week. We give a few suggestions on streaming options.

Which Dallas Cowboys players are worth a start against the Patriots on Sunday?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Rams QB Matthew Stafford has a big marquee game on Thursday Night Football in Seattle. Can the Seahawks secondary do enough to stop him?

Another big marquee game is on Sunday Night Football that will have huge fantasy implications when the Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City. How will Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes fare against the Bills stout defense?

It looks like we will have another week with a fair share of rookie quarterbacks starting games. Will any rookie QB in this class rise to the top this week?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams.

2021 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

baker mayfield cleveland browns dottedI went 11-5 against the spread in Week 3.

It’s clear that the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders were the three most underrated teams going into this season. It could be time to jump off their bandwagons as the betting lines are starting to reflect respect for their early season performances

How will Bucs QB Tom Brady fare in his homecoming against the Patriots?

Can the Steelers bounce-back from last week’s loss and keep it close against the Packers

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season.

2021 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-7-1 against the spread in the opening week.

Week 2 can be tricky for those who react too swiftly to the first week outcomes. You do need to be flexible, but there are always Week 1 aberrations. I would suggest that you look back at your preseason rankings and decide which teams impressed you enough to adjust their ranking and which ones you need to double-down this week and hope for a bounce-back performance

Can the Packers forget last week’s blowout loss and cover a double-digit point spread at home against the Lions?

Can the Ravens avenge last season’s loss to the Chiefs?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season.

Betting Picks: 2021 NFL Over/Under Season Wins

The NFL added an extra game to their regular season schedule and teams will now play seventeen games. It makes the over/under win totals a little extra tricky.

These win total prop bets have been out there for months now, but I wanted to see the final 53-man rosters for every team before I made my picks.

This year’s strong rookie quarterback class made this offseason more interesting than most. It’s hard for a team to sit a first-round quarterback these days. The life-cycle of a front office is shorter than ever, so these general managers want to see their rookie QBs make them look smart.

Will the Rams or Lions benefit the most from their quarterback swap?

Super Bowl 55 – Betting Picks Against Spread & Prop Bets

Super Bowl 55 is this Sunday and it’s a prop bets smorgasbord.

I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.

I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.

Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the juice isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.

I picked out some of the most popular prop bets for Super Bowl 55 (or Super Bowl LV for Roman numeral fans)…and we also pick the game against the spread.

2021 NFL Conference Championship – Betting Picks Against Spread

These are the most-competitive NFL Conference Championship games in a long, long time.

Even though both point spreads are just a field goal, they will be very different games. The Bucs vs Packers game will pit two Super Bowl-winning, veteran quarterbacks against each other. The Bills vs Chiefs game have two young quarterbacks that could meet each other in the postseason many times this decade.

Will Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes recover from last week’s concussion and play against the Bills?

Can Bucs QB Tom Brady cover against the Packers and earn another Super Bowl appearance?

2021 NFL Divisional Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-5-1 against the spread and with over/under point totals last week.

We are back to a four-game playoff schedule this week. It’s unfortunate that we won’t have an extra game on Nickelodeon this week. I really enjoyed their presentation of the Bears/Saints game on Sunday.

The Packers and Chiefs will be fresh this week since they benefitted from the revised playoff schedule this season. They were the only two teams in the NFL that had a first-round bye this year.

There is a lot of experience at quarterback in this year’s divisional round, but we do have some young quarterbacks like Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, who were still playing in college just a couple years ago.

Can Drew Brees cover against Tom Brady this week?

2020 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-5 against the spread last week.

I was actually 8-1 against the spread at one point, but the late games on Sunday afternoon/evening made the record a little less remarkable. I’m still happy with the overall outcome. I also benefitted from the late safety in the Ravens/Browns game.

There are a handful of double-digit point spreads this week. We have been able to avoid a lot of those this year, but December is always filled with some lopsided point spreads, so it is expected at this point.

Can the Dolphins cover the spread at home against the Patriots?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 15 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Week 12 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 6-8 against the spread last week.

This was my first week that I went under .500 this season. I had a rough stretch of afternoon games that really tanked my record for the week.

The Steelers/Ravens game was going to be the best game on Thanksgiving (by far), but due to Baltimore’s COVID-19 outbreak, it was moved to the early game schedule on Sunday.

Can I get another clean Thanksgiving sweep against the spread?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 12 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Week 11 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-4-3 against the spread last week.

There have been some COVID-19 activity this week. There have been a few teams that have transferred players to the COVID-19 reserve list. The Las Vegas Raiders could miss many key players on defense this week.

The marquee game this week is the Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Monday Night Football.

How will Tom Brady fare against the Rams stout defense?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season.

2020 NFL Week 9 – Betting Picks Against Spread

daniel jones dottedI went 7-7 against the spread last week.

I was able to make a comeback last week after having a rough stretch in the early games, but nearly ran the table the rest of Sunday.

There are some COVID-19 issues on the Ravens right now, but they think it’s under control. They added seven to the COVID-19 reserve list. They haven’t had any positive tests since.

A few teams are dealing with quarterback injuries and we will see two new faces starting this week for the Cowboys and Jaguars.

How will Jaguars rookie QB Jake Luton fare against the Texans?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season.
