How To Get Your Kids Hooked Up On Sports

Every parent wants their kids to be active and healthy, but in the world of video games and long hours spent on homework, it is hard to find the time or the opportunity. It is your responsibility to help your child make the most out of their social and physical skills, and sports have more benefits than growing muscles. It improves your kids’ communication, discipline, focus, and encourages them to take responsibility for their action. Below you will find a few ways you can encourage them to take on a sport.

Watch Live Matches

If you want your kids to be interested in sports, you will need to teach them about the rules and the goal of every game from an early age, the sooner they will start making sense of a match, the more they will enjoy watching it. You can even get a season ticket for the family, and make it a day out at the weekend to watch your team and discuss the sport afterward. You can really turn them into fans when they feel the atmosphere of a live match.

4 Sports Everyone Should Try At Least Once

Sports are a funny old thing. They exist in the exact middle spot between exercise and culture. We play them, we watch them, we even bet on their outcome. One can be obsessively in love with sports while never having played them in their lives, and one can also be an avowed sports nut, playing anything they can that involves a ball, yet live their whole lives happily without ever watching a game on the TV. Most Americans, however will have played a range of sports by the time they leave high school and have at least a layman’s knowledge of staples like football, baseball, basketball and soccer. But these sports really are just the tip of the iceberg.

Soccer Betting Tips – For Serious Money Makers!

If you base your betting activities on soccer-based markets, you must be aware of the fact that these markets present very good value to a keen and analytical mind. Soccer (more commonly referred to as football) is the most popular sport in the world and that in itself shows you why it presents a keen gambler with a good earning opportunity.  Whatever draws you into football gambling, the following guidelines will enable you to maximize your earnings:

Learn to find value

Every odd you see on a website has an intrinsic value but the concept of value is lost on most gamblers. When a bookmaker picks an odd, sometimes it is not a true reflection of the actual probability of that event happening; it could be motivated by market sentiment. Your job as a smart gambler is to look for the odds that have been incorrectly valued (based on good analysis of the actual game) and work with them. You will find that those hidden value gems will sometimes go against the grain. You will, therefore, need to train yourself to stand your ground and avoid being overwhelmed by gambler sentiment.

Hideo Itami Was Doomed Before He Began

Back in early 2014, when the WWE signed Japanese pro wrestler KENTA, it was a huge deal. He was one of the biggest stars in Japan and an in-ring wizard. It was also a sign of things to come for WWE’s NXT developmental brand.

Kevin Steen, El Generico, Prince Devitt and KENTA were early coups for the NXT brand. Those four performers were supposed to be the foundation for bringing the NXT brand up to the level of Ring of Honor and other upper indies. Three of the four performers met or exceeded expectations, but KENTA never really even stood a chance to succeed.

KENTA is an innovative wrestler. He invented and popularized many moves that other wrestlers imitated, which is one of the many reasons for his short-lived WWE career.

Super Bowl 53 – Betting Picks Against Spread & Prop Bets

I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.

I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.

Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the vig isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.

I picked out some of the most popular (and the most absurd) prop bets for Super Bowl 53 (or Super Bowl LIII for Roman numeral fans)…and we also pick the game against the spread.

2019 NFL Conference Championship Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 3-5 against the spread and with my over/under picks last week. I whiffed against the spread, but made up for it with my over/under picks.

This might be the most evenly-matched Conference Championship slate of games in NFL history. Both games are -3 for the home team, which means that on a neutral field, both games should probably be pick’em. Also, both games are rematches of barn-burning thrillers from this season.

Can the Saints get QB Drew Brees to his second Super Bowl of his career?

Can the Patriots force Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes into making mistakes?

We pick both NFL Conference Championship games against the spread and over/under point totals.

2019 NFL Divisional Round Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 5-2-1 against the spread and with my over/under picks last week.

All four games this weekend should be fun to watch, something that has become uncommon the last few years with injuries severely depleting playoff teams. The only backup quarterback playing this week is Eagles QB Nick Foles, who led them to a Super Bowl win last year.

Should the Patriots be an underdog at home against the Chargers?

Can the Colts knockout the Chiefs from the playoffs again?

We pick every NFL Divisional Round Playoff games against the spread.

Top 10 Wrestlers Who Have Been Found to Use Steroids

Steroids have strict regulations depending on the country or the sport in which athletes are engaged. For today, let’s talk about the popular sport of wrestling. As people discuss this activity, the topic of steroids has to come up especially when discussing the physique and strength of the gigantic wrestlers. According to the rules and regulations of these wrestling organizations, the wrestlers should be free from the use of certain steroids that give them advantages over wrestlers who do not use steroids.

But truth be told, some wrestlers have been tempted to use these steroids, and some of them have been caught and punished. The anti-doping agencies have their eyes wide open looking for signs and clues of steroid use. To prove to you that steroid use is real, here are ten wrestlers who have tested positive for steroid use.

2019 NFL Wild Card Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished the year 133-111-12 against the spread during the NFL regular season.

Since there aren’t many games in the playoffs, I also pick over/under point totals as well.

These four games are pretty close, so we aren’t seeing any double-digit point spreads like we’ve seen the last few Wild Card Weekends.

Can the Eagles pull off the upset and make another improbable Super Bowl run?

We pick every NFL Wild Card Weekend game against the spread.

UFC Should End ‘Champion vs Champion’ Fights

The UFC is in dire need of marquee fights. They’ve stooped to the level of putting champions from different weight classes in fights, which can lead to a fighter carrying two different titles at the same time. This reduces the amount of title fights they can put together to headline shows. The whole deal is counter-productive in the long-term.

This all started when Conor McGregor faced Jose Aldo on UFC 194 in late-2015. McGregor won that fight and held both the Featherweight and Lightweight titles at the same time. Conor held onto both of those titles for some time, which muddied up both divisions for over a year. UFC President (and current matchmaker) Dana White had to make fights for interim titles at those weights.

2018 NFL Week 17 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 10-6 against the spread last week.

Week 17 hasn’t been very eventful the last couple of years. There wasn’t even worth a flex last year and there wasn’t a game on Sunday Night Football.

The Colts/Titans game was flexed to Sunday night this year. The winner of that game will earn a playoff spot. If the Texans lose to the Jaguars, the Colts or Titans could win the AFC South with a win.

There are currently only two teams that are locked into their spots in the playoffs (Saints & Cowboys). Every other spot is up for grabs, so this week will be worth your time.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 17 of the 2018 NFL season.
