2019 NCAA Football – Week 3 Betting Picks Against Spread

I started off strong this year and but just went 12-12-1 against the spread last week.

The key to staying hot while betting college football game is to not get too bogged down on the last week’s games. It’s important to stick with your own personal rankings and know when to bail on a team. Well, after the first couple weeks of the season, it is about time to think about jumping off a bandwagon. There won’t be much value on teams that are perceived to be unbeatable. You may have another week or two to ride them before the value disappears.

2019 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

The first week of the 2019 NFL regular season is in the book. I finished 8-8 against the spread with my picks. I wasn’t burned too much by late-game comebacks as much as most as my picks mostly benefited from the late-game heroics last week.

A few young players had breakout games last week. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson had a perfect passer rating and shut up critics that he can only scramble. Can he continue the same success against the Cardinals this week?

Can the Patriots cover a massive -18.5 point spread against the brutal Dolphins?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 2

I am battling one hell of a flu bug this week. I actually started this post on Tuesday and had to quit due to everything spinning.

Now that I am feeling a little better, I’ve still only eaten saltine crackers since Monday, let’s crank out some fantasy football and betting posts!

I had a few studs and duds with my picks last week. I’m feeling better now that I’ve seen what roles from of the new players played for their teams in Week 1.

2019 NCAA Football – Week 2 Betting Picks Against Spread

I started off strong this year and went 17-7-1 against the spread last week.

There aren’t a ton of marquee games this week. College football athletic directors know that most people are more geared up for the NFL season to begin this weekend. There are a ton of games where FBS teams take on easy wins against a small FCS schools.

There were a few notable upsets last week, but all the major players made it out of their games unscathed. Can Wisconsin and Michigan cover their huge point spreads this weekend?

2019 NFL Week 1 – Betting Picks Against Spread

The first week of the 2019 NFL regular season is here!

I finished last season over .500 with my NFL picks against the spread. I hope to continue my streak of profitable NFL picks this season.

This year’s rookie class of quarterbacks isn’t as good as last year’s crop. There were so many rookie quarterbacks that saw action early last season, but it appears that Arizona’s QB Kyler Murray will be the lone rookie to start in Week 1.

I love a lot of the favorites this week. I almost feel wrong for making so many ‘chalk’ picks, but I still found a few underdogs picks to sink my teeth into.

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 1

I am really looking forward to fantasy football this year.

It seems like half the league has exciting young quarterbacks. Also, more running backs are becoming assets in the passing game. It makes for a more entertaining fantasy football experience.

A handful of past fantasy studs like Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown find themselves on new teams. Will either guy continue their top-tier fantasy production or will their fantasy stock diminish?

‘All Out’ Was Another Step in the Right Direction for AEW

All Elite Wrestling officially put on their third-ever event during Labor Day weekend. They crowned their first Heavyweight champion and set the table for their first women’s title holder.

‘All Out’ was one of the most anticipated wrestling shows to happen since their ‘Double or Nothing’ pay-per-view during Memorial Day weekend. The show sold out within minutes, even if there were rumors that some tickets bypassed consumers and went straight to the secondary market (the rumors have been unfounded).

There were a few hiccups that happened that were out of their control just days before the show. They lost one of the wrestlers in the co-main event when Jon Moxley announced that he was battling a reoccurring staph infection in his elbow and had to pull out of his advertised match with Kenny Omega. AEW wasted no time and filled the void with PAC, which was an equivalent talent for the spot. Also, Fenix of the Lucha Brothers tweaked his knee the previous weekend and threatened his participation, but he battled through the injury and was able to wrestle The Young Bucks in a banger of a match.

2019 College Football: All-Name Team

This is one of my favorite posts to do every year.

What makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We went through ever single name and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so of all the people who can write a post poking fun at names, it’s me. I’m always asked if my real name is Robert Roberts (it’s not) or if my name is fake (it’s not).

2019 NCAA Football – Week 1 Betting Picks Against Spread

I am so ready for the college football to begin!

This offseason saw a bunch of head coaching changes and WAY more transfers than any other year that I can recall. I’m all for college kids to be able to go somewhere for a fresh start without any punishment, so I hope this is the new norm.

The same teams are expect to contend for a College Football Playoff spot. Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma are the consensus four-best teams right now. Will all four make the CFP at the end of the year?

A great team is all about finding the right players. You need to know exactly what you’re looking for – is it men, women, or children? Are you just playing casually? What standard of player are you looking for? The more detailed you can be about the type of people you’re looking for the better. This way, anybody that comes to your trials knows exactly what to expect. When you know what you’re looking for you need to advertise the trials, so create flyers, and perhaps even a Facebook page or event so you can get the word out to as many people in your area as possible. You could even put an ad out in your local paper.

Forget The Draft, It’s About The Free-Agents

Every year, only 60 players get picked in the NBA draft. That’s 60 players versus a multitude of that number in NBA hopefuls. And if you consider the NBA draft picks being the main and only game in town that decides on the future of the NBA, you might be mistaken. The world of unrestricted and restricted free-agents might be just as exciting and vibrant and, more importantly, decisive in the NBA power rankings. There could be many reasons why someone is or has become a free-agent, unpicked in the draft, released by a team due to rebuilding purposes, salary cap issues, but being a free-agent does not diminish someone’s value in the market.

For some people, a beach vacation is a chance to do nothing. However, if lazing around on a sunbed isn’t your idea of fun, there are plenty of more active ways to spend a vacation by the coast. Here are just ideas of ways in which you can make your beach vacation more active.

Play beach games

Beach games can be a great way to spend a day at the beach – especially if you’ve got kids. Volleyball and soccer are great option if you’ve got a ball. Alternatively, you may be able to try some ultimate frisbee. There are also beach mini golf sets that you can buy (many beaches have their own mini golf courses too).
