Tips To Protect Yourself During Sports Activities

Sports activities are important to be a part of for fitness, but when it comes to looking after yourself, it’s critical that you’re preventing any injuries from occurring. With that being said, here are some tips to protect yourself during sports activities.

Wear Protective Gear

We’re always told as children to wear a helmet when cycling, and so we take that awareness and knowledge as we get older. Wearing protective headgear and body gear is important to keep your body protected, especially as we get older. Sometimes, we’re not as nimble on our feet, and that can result in an accident happening. When it does happen, you’d rather have that protection in place to minimize the impact that it has on your body. For those cases where you’re not so fortunate, and perhaps you were injured by someone else, it’s worth exploring what case you might have when it comes to seeking legal help. For example, anyone who gets injured whilst on a bike may want to speak to a bike accident lawyer to explore the likelihood of getting compensation for any injuries that may have occurred. Taking safety seriously is important, and protective gear can ensure you reduce any impact of serious injuries to your body.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 12-13 against the spread last week.

The Big Ten has been weird so far. We’ve had teams like Indiana, Rutgers and Michigan State score victories over teams we expected to sail through those games. Maybe those teams have improved greatly since last season, but I doubt we will see Rutgers among the top-tier of teams in the conference at year’s end. Ohio State could be the best team in the conference by a large margin.

The marquee games this week are Florida vs Georgia (in Jacksonville) and Clemson at Notre Dame.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 9 of the 2020-21 NCAA Football season (November 7th, 2020).

daniel jones dottedI went 7-7 against the spread last week.

I was able to make a comeback last week after having a rough stretch in the early games, but nearly ran the table the rest of Sunday.

There are some COVID-19 issues on the Ravens right now, but they think it’s under control. They added seven to the COVID-19 reserve list. They haven’t had any positive tests since.

A few teams are dealing with quarterback injuries and we will see two new faces starting this week for the Cowboys and Jaguars.

6 Outdoor Activities That Do Not Require Close Contact

Even though the sports industry took a hit when the pandemic began, things are gradually getting back to normal. Some of the world’s most famous football leagues, such as the British Premier League, have resumed for fans all over the world. But there are still concerns about contact during these games, which has led to testing and the inability for spectators to enjoy the games in person. Fortunately, some sports do not require that much contact to play. Are you looking to get back into sports but are worried about social distancing? Here are some safe games you can engage in:

1. Tennis

Now more than ever, you can appreciate the distance between players on the tennis court. Also, since there are at least two players at a time, there is enough room for movement and ventilation. The likelihood of contracting an infection is little to none. The only thing that may be a problem is how the balls will be handled. However, once you make a conscious effort not to touch your face and wash your hands after a game, you should be fine.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

I  went 12-13 against the spread last week.

I’ve been struggling the last three weeks with my college football picks. I thought the addition of Big Ten games to the schedule would fix my string of bad luck, but nope! Penn State, Michigan State and Iowa all shit the bed in their debuts.

I was impressed by a few Big Ten players last week. Michigan QB Joe Milton didn’t need to showcase much in their win over Minnesota, but he could do some damage with his size and athleticism. I was having Cam Newton flashbacks last weekend.

2020 NFL Week 8 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-7 against the spread last week.

There were a ton of games that came down to the final play of the game to ruin covers. The last-second Lions win and a late missed extra-point in the Browns/Bengals game ruined a lot of bets.

There currently aren’t any games in jeopardy due to COVID-19 positive tests right now. It’s only Wednesday, so things could change since positivity rates have increased all around the country.

Will the Steelers fare well against QB Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 8 of the 2020 NFL season.

Kayaking 101: How To Begin A Thrilling Outdoor Hobby

As we move towards the winter months, many of the popular outdoor sporting options are becoming thin on the ground for non-professionals. Those of us who wish to stay fit and enjoy a diverting hobby are likely to be looking for another way to keep the weekends occupied, particularly given that a day on the golf course can so easily be ruined by rain or worse.

One worthwhile option may be to give kayaking a try. It’s a suitable winter pursuit – if you have doubts about that, bear in mind that the first people to give kayaks a try were the indigenous population of Greenland. That’s a part of the world where even the summer temperatures rarely get far above 50 degrees Fahrenheit, so as long as you wrap up warm, it can be the perfect winter hobby. Indeed, by following the tips below, you can have the time of your life in a kayak.

2020 NCAA Football – Week 8 Betting Picks Against Spread

I  went 11-12 against the spread last week.

I’m glad to see more potential college football games on the schedule. It was tough gathering 25 games to pick when there were barely 25 games on the schedule.

Big Ten and Mountain West teams are making their season debuts this week. This will add a dozen games to the schedule with a few other conferences due to start in the coming weeks.

Can Ohio State start to receive first-place votes in the polls with a big win against Nebraska?

2020 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Jimmy Garoppolo San Francisco 49ers dottedI went 8-6 against the spread last week.

As of Wednesday night, it looks like all these games are set to be played at their scheduled time. We haven’t seen as many positive COVID-19 tests this week, but considering the entire country has seen a sharp increase, we could see some before Sunday’s slate of games.

The marquee game this week appears to be the Pittsburgh Steelers versus Tennessee Titans contest. The Titans have had a string of marquee games and they’ve came out on top in all of them so far. Can they hold off Pittsburgh on Sunday?

Can Jimmy Garoppolo lead the Niners to a cover in New England?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season.
