I went 12-12-1 against the spread in Week 6 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I wouldn’t normally be too happy with a .500 record after a weekend of college football games, but I feel like I dodged many bullets. There were so many outright upset wins last weekend. I’m thankful that I decided to skip picking the Alabama/Vanderbilt game. If you predicted that outcome, you need to buy some lottery tickets with your earnings.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had another middle-of-the-road week with a 13-12 record in Week 11.

I’ve been streaky when it comes to West Coast teams this season. I started cold, but hit some nice Pac-12 parlays in October. I’m back to being lukewarm again. I hope to end the year strong with a few big games in the conference this weekend.

I would be aware that this week has been notorious for dreaded ‘trap games’ in the past. Many of the teams playing this week will be playing their rivals the next two weeks. On paper, there are some forgettable games on the schedule, but could end up being major if one of the top teams overlooks this week’s opponents.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had another lackluster performance with a 12-12-1 record.

Last week was a great week for some big marquee games, but we don’t have as many this weekend. Georgia/Florida and Oregon/Utah contests lead the pack on the schedule. We would have some more important games, but teams like Wisconsin and South Carolina are having below average seasons.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had my worst week of the season with a 11-13-1 record.

I started the year off pretty hot, but things have been a bit rough the last two weeks. I fell in love with a couple teams that turned out to be pretenders. There are still some teams in the Top 25 that have yet to play anyone of note, so those teams are hard to handicap right now.

Can Oregon win on the road against Washington?

2022-23 College Basketball – All-Name Team

We haven’t lost a ton of guys off of last year’s list due to the extra year of eligibility many guys are taking advantage of, so we will have some fifth (or even sixth) year guys soon.

We picked through every Division-I college basketball roster and a few smaller schools for our list. This year’s class is strong and is a better version of last year’s All-Name Team.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so I am often jealous of people with unique names. The most unique thing about my name is that I was not born ‘Robert Roberts’, Bobby is my given name. I don’t know too many grown men named Bobby.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 14 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 15-10 against the spread during Week 13 of the college football season.

Conference Championship Week is here!

I like this year’s slate of championship games. I expect most of these games will be tight and the point spreads reflect that. There are a couple double-digit point spreads, but you expected larger point spreads in the Purdue/Michigan and LSU/Georgia games.

Last week, I went 13-11-1 against the spread during Week 12 of the college football season.

We have some big rivalry games this week. The Michigan vs Ohio State game will get all the oxygen this week, but there are some big games over Friday and Saturday this week.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 6 of the college football season.

We have some huge games on the schedule this week. Alabama hopes to have QB Bryce Young back this weekend as they travel to face Tennessee. The Volunteers are playing as good as any team in the country. I can’t wait to watch that game on Saturday.

2022 College Football: All-Name Team

This is one of my favorite posts to do every year, but due to all the knowns about the college football season at this point last year, we didn’t compile a list. We are happy to bring this back this year and debut some new names.

What makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We went through ever single name and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

We lost a few players on last year’s College Basketball All-Name Team (I wish the best of luck in the future to guys like Goodnews Kpegeol). We have a lot of returning faces due to the NCAA giving another year of eligibility to athletes due to the pandemic, but we do have a decent amount of new names on this year’s list.

2021 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 11-13-1 against the spread last week.

My bets were looking great…but then Oklahoma replaced QB Spencer Rattler with Caleb Williams. and that was a turning point. How the hell did Texas lose that game?

Kentucky has a huge ‘prove it’ game against Georgia. Both teams are undefeated, but the Wildcats are far less respected. Can Kentucky surprise everyone and keep it close against Georgia?

2021 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread last week.

I killed it in the early games on Saturday (again), but the late games really beat me up. I was 10-3 after the early games, but the Pac-12 games did me dirty.

There are some big Big Ten games this week. We will know if Penn State and Maryland are contenders after this week.

Can Notre Dame rebound from their home loss to Cincinnati last week?
