2024 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 8 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I had a massive article planned, but I broke/bruised some ribs Thursday morning, and I’ve been in bed ever since.

I was able to write a little snippet for each marquee game this week, albeit from my phone. I’ll be back with a massive article for next week’s games.

Can Vanderbilt upset Texas?

2023 NCAA Football – Week 5 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 10-11-4 in a weird week with a ton of pushes across the board.

The betting line Gods had a great week as many of the lines were very tight. There were a few unexpected blowouts (Oregon vs Colorado), but games like Ohio State vs Notre Dame made it an outstanding week to watch college football.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 12-12-1 against the spread during Week 11 of the college football season.

I’ve had three-straight weeks of near-.500 results, so I need to snap this streak of averageness.

We are in the ‘rivalry game’ section of the year. Schools often have more than just one rival, so the next two weeks are big games for most schools, regardless of their records.

Can USC head coach Lincoln Riley get his first rivalry win against UCLA?

2022 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 10 of the college football season.

I’ve had a few near-.500 weeks in a row, but I’m feeling pretty damn good about this week’s slate of games.

This week lacks a huge marquee game, but there are still solid games on the schedule. I’m looking forward to TCU/Texas and Florida State/Syracuse.

Can Alabama rebound after last week’s tough loss and cover against Ole Miss?

2022 NCAA Football – Week 1 Betting Picks Against Spread

College Football season is here, guys!

This year feels a little more like college football is officially back from the ‘Pandemic Era.’ I could be speaking a little early, but we aren’t inundated with player news surrounding testing results. It feels nice and I can’t wait to watch so many of these games.

We once again saw a ton of quarterbacks change teams thanks to the transfer portal. You may want to research who will be quarterbacking your team this season, because it could have changed. Quarterbacks like JT Daniels (West Virginia) and Dillon Gabriel (Oklahoma) could be game-changing additions.

Will Ohio State cover against Notre Dame?

2020 NCAA Football – Week 8 Betting Picks Against Spread

I  went 11-12 against the spread last week.

I’m glad to see more potential college football games on the schedule. It was tough gathering 25 games to pick when there were barely 25 games on the schedule.

Big Ten and Mountain West teams are making their season debuts this week. This will add a dozen games to the schedule with a few other conferences due to start in the coming weeks.

Can Ohio State start to receive first-place votes in the polls with a big win against Nebraska?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

2019 College Football Picks Against the Spread Week 11 NCAA Baylor Bears cheerleadersI went 16-8-1 against the spread with my college football picks last week.

This could be the first week of the college football season that the weather could affect many games. It’s supposed to be cold and windy throughout the Midwest and Northeast this weekend. Please keep an eye on weather reports that could change the possible handicapping of games.

Will LSU vs Alabama be a shoot-out?

2019 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

2019-College-Football-Picks-Against-the-Spread-Week-10-NCAA-Oregon-Ducks-cheerleadersI went 12-13 against the spread with my college football picks last week.

I really need to have back-to-back solid weeks with my college football picks. I’ll have a great week that is followed by one that’s around .500. I feel pretty good about my picks this week and to get back on track.

There are a handful of marquee games this weekend. Georgia at Florida might be the most relevant in the big picture when it comes to the College Football Playoff. I would even say that SMU at Memphis could even be seen as being more relevant as SMU is still undefeated this late into the year.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 10 of the 2019-20 NCAA Football season (November 2nd, 2019). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2019 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

2019 College Football Picks Against the Spread Week 6 NCAA Baylor Bears cheerleadersI apologize for getting my college football picks out this late, but my hosting company decided to migrate thousands of sites to larger servers…and didn’t get an email telling me this was going to happen. After it was moved, I had to call the security company that protects my site. The hosting company didn’t tell them the new IP address of the server and they had to add that manually. So, after 30 hours of random back-and-forth calls, it’s now fixed.

There are some huge games this week that could knock off a few conference championship contenders. Iowa vs Michigan and Auburn vs Florida are two must-watch games this week.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 6 of the 2019-20 NCAA Football season (October 5th,, 2019). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2016 College Football: All-Name Team

america's white boy funny all-name team college football ncaa 2016 lion kingWhat makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football.

We went through all the teams in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We read every name and picked out the ones that were funny and names we just wish we had.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so of all the people who can write a post poking fun at names, it’s me. I’m always asked if my real name is Robert Roberts (it’s not) or if my name is fake.

Here is the 2016-17 college football All-Name team.

2013 March Madness: #7 Illinois vs #10 Colorado

brandon-paul-illinois-2013#7 Illinois (22-12) vs. #10 Colorado (21-11) will have the lowest combined assist total of all the first round games. Neither team moves the ball well and you will see many sloppy possessions.

This game should be re-named ‘The Inconsistency Showdown.” You never know which version of the teams will show up.

2013 March Madness: Bubble Teams

John+Caliperi+Kentucky+Bubble+Team+2013+NCAA+TournamentThe NCAA Tournament is right around the corner and teams pushing to win their conference tournaments and assure a spot in this season’s ‘Big Dance’.

There were a few smaller conference upsets that limited the number of at-large bids the larger conferences usually dominate.

Many of the teams on the “bubble” are perennial favorites, like Kentucky who want to defend their title. A few newcomers are also on the bubble, like La Salle who haven’t made the NCAA Tournament since 1992.

Which current bubble teams are safe to receive at-large bids and which teams still have work to do? Continue reading
