2019 NFL Week 7 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 8-6 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are on byes this week. There are 14 NFL games on the betting schedule in Week 7.

There are still only two unbeaten teams left in the NFL. The Patriots and 49ers put their records on the line this week. As far as the winless teams go, one was eliminated last week when the Redskins by the Dolphins.We are now just left with the Dolphins and Bengals.

Will either winless team get their first dub this week?

2019 NFL Week 6 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 7-8 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills are on byes this week, which means there are two less games to bet on.

We are down to only two unbeaten teams this season…and four teams that have yet to win a game. Will any of these teams get rid of the zero in their records this week?

The Redskins and Dolphins face off this week in a game between two teams still looking for their first win on the year. Which team will end their drought on Sunday?

2019 NFL Week 5 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 8-7 against the spread with my picks last week.

The Miami Dolphins are on bye week, but we still have our fair share of double-digit point spreads this week.

The Browns finally lived up to the hype last week when they beat the Ravens 40-25. They face the Niners on Monday Night and are actually 3.5-point underdogs. Can the Browns score an underdog win in the Bay Area?

Will any backup quarterbacks lead their teams to a cover this week?

2019 NFL Week 4 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 10-6 against the spread with my picks last week.

I’m really liking some of the nail biting fourth quarters this season. There have been so many point spreads covered late in games. It just didn’t happen much last year.

There were two 20+ point spreads last week (only one covered), but there aren’t any near that level this week. The Dolphins are huge underdogs (again), but they are only sixteen-point underdogs against the Chargers this week.

Can rookie quarterbacks Kyler Murray and Gardner Minshew lead upsets this weekend?

Was Daniel Jones just a one-week wonder?

2019 NFL Week 3 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 8-8 against the spread with my picks last week.

The slew of quarterback injuries have affected the point spreads quite a bit. On top of that, there’s a huge point spread in every Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots games. There are actually two point spreads this week greater than 21 points. That usually doesn’t happen until like Week 16, at the earliest.

Can the Patriots and Cowboys both cover a massive 21+ point spreads this week?

Can rookie quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Gardner Minshew lead their teams to covers in Week 3?

The flu was brutal this year. I made it out the other side and ready to make this week’s fantasy football sit/start picks for Week 3.

Chances are that you may have a different quarterback starting this week than the one you drafted a couple weeks ago. Injuries and overall inefficiency has turned the position into one of the most added/dropped in all leagues.

2019 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

The first week of the 2019 NFL regular season is in the book. I finished 8-8 against the spread with my picks. I wasn’t burned too much by late-game comebacks as much as most as my picks mostly benefited from the late-game heroics last week.

A few young players had breakout games last week. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson had a perfect passer rating and shut up critics that he can only scramble. Can he continue the same success against the Cardinals this week?

Can the Patriots cover a massive -18.5 point spread against the brutal Dolphins?

2019 NFL Week 1 – Betting Picks Against Spread

The first week of the 2019 NFL regular season is here!

I finished last season over .500 with my NFL picks against the spread. I hope to continue my streak of profitable NFL picks this season.

This year’s rookie class of quarterbacks isn’t as good as last year’s crop. There were so many rookie quarterbacks that saw action early last season, but it appears that Arizona’s QB Kyler Murray will be the lone rookie to start in Week 1.

I love a lot of the favorites this week. I almost feel wrong for making so many ‘chalk’ picks, but I still found a few underdogs picks to sink my teeth into.

2019 NFL Divisional Round Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 5-2-1 against the spread and with my over/under picks last week.

All four games this weekend should be fun to watch, something that has become uncommon the last few years with injuries severely depleting playoff teams. The only backup quarterback playing this week is Eagles QB Nick Foles, who led them to a Super Bowl win last year.

Should the Patriots be an underdog at home against the Chargers?

Can the Colts knockout the Chiefs from the playoffs again?

Welcome to Championship Week(s).

Based on how your league is structured, this could be your lone Championship game or first of two weeks. I’m a fan of not including Week 17 in your fantasy league, but it does make things interesting with stars resting before the Playoffs.

2018 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-8 against the spread last week.

I may have went .500 last week, but I did personally benefit from Raiders and Dolphins moneyline bets. I didn’t bet a ton on those underdog moneylines, but it put me in the black for the weekend.

It’s time to start figuring out if a team still has anything left to play for this season. All the potential playoff teams haven’t clinched a specific seed yet, so there aren’t any that are resting their guys (but it could happen next week).

Also, teams like the Raiders, who will not benefit from a win, are still playing hard (see: last week’s win). Don’t automatically go against a team that you feel is tanking. There are 53 guys on that team still playing for another paycheck next season.

2018 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

I’ve been traveling a lot this week and I haven’t had a ton of time to write up my fantasy football and NFL football picks against the spread. I have done a lot of research, but it has just come down to putting ‘pen to paper’ (or the equivalent of today’s technology).

I was unable to carve enough time to write up a fantasy football post this week, but I at least needed to post my betting picks. I wasn’t able to give any insight into my picks, but I put as much time in the picking the games as usual.
