2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 5

This is the last full slate of games before the start of bye weeks, are you prepared?

Rams QB Matthew Stafford has a big marquee game on Thursday Night Football in Seattle. Can the Seahawks secondary do enough to stop him?

Another big marquee game is on Sunday Night Football that will have huge fantasy implications when the Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City. How will Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes fare against the Bills stout defense?

It looks like we will have another week with a fair share of rookie quarterbacks starting games. Will any rookie QB in this class rise to the top this week?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams.

A few Week 3 injuries will have an impact on this week’s games. Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey will miss a few weeks after injuring his hamstring against the Texans. Panthers rookie RB Chuba Hubbard will be a trendy pickup this week.

Rookie quarterbacks are struggling this year. Will any of the young signal callers bounce-back this week?

2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 17

Week 17 can be a crap shoot. Teams rest some of their stars and there’s always one ‘out of nowhere’ performance by a backup that can sway a championship game.

Many leagues had their championship in Week 16, but needing a strong showing Week 17 just makes a league more interesting. A team can make a huge comeback from a poor score in the first week of the championship.

Should you automatically bench a guy whose team has nothing left to play for?

Did you make it to your championship game or are you just battling for a bronze medal this week?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 17 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

2017 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Even though I missed the Thursday game (again), I still finished the week 9-5-2. I forgot to update last week’s post since there wasn’t a line for last week’s Tampa Bay game at the time I wrote the post. I marked it up as a tie, just to keep things on track with past year-to-year win totals.

I missed on a few underdogs with both the Browns and Seahawks performing better than the lines would suggest.

There are a lot of close point spreads this week. There is only one double-digit game and the rest are at or under a touchdown. This could be a difficult week to handicap.

Another speed bump we must navigate is the fact that the lion’s share of the games aren’t division games, so they are first-time meetings.

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 14 of the 2017 NFL season.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 6

We all survived the first week of bye weeks, but unfortunately, there are many more weeks of it to come. A few of my teams were rocked last week, but I don’t have to worry about bye weeks much going forward. I guess that’s a huge plus after struggling to fill my rosters last week.

Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas and Seattle are taking the week off. I’ve had a couple fantasy teams decimated from byes since I have TE Jordan Reed, RB Chris Thompson, WR Julio Jones and RB Devonta Freeman on multiple teams.

What should we expect from Jacksonville RB Leonard Fournette? His final numbers last week were insane, but he struggled for the first three quarters. Did he have a lucky quarter or will he have another crazy fantasy week?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 6 of the 2017 NFL season…and enjoy our odd amazing MS Paint masterpiece of Fournette.

2015 NFL Team Preview: Pittsburgh Steelers

funny weird pittsburgh steelers 2015 team season preview ben roethlisbergerThe Pittsburgh Steelers always seem to put together a team worthy of preseason hype. ‘Experts’ pick them to either win the AFC North or make the playoffs year after year. I guess when you have the same leaders on the field, it’s hard to pick against them.

The Steelers lost some of their leaders on defense this offseason. Troy Polamalu, Brett Keisel and Ike Taylor are no longer wearing black and yellow this season. It’s not a rebuilding year, they are just retooling on defense.

The Bengals and Ravens both look like contenders in the AFC North. Can the Steelers win another division title under Mike Tomlin?

Here is the 2015 NFL team preview for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

How Ben Roethlisberger Helped Tim Tebow

We all know about the recent trouble that Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, got himself into. Teams are trying to stay away from players with possible “character issues,” could this have been the reason Tim Tebow shot up the draft board as a first-round pick?

Tim Tebow is probably the most celebrated college football player to come out since Roger Staubach. He was a tremendouse college football player and he is a model citizen. He is the kind of player that the NFL would love to have to represent “the shield.” With the recent trouble that some high-profile players have gotten themselves into, the NFL would love to have 50-players on every team like Tebow.
