2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 3

No matter how well you think you did in your fantasy draft, there will always be a few fantasy studs that sneak through without being drafted.

Two of the best fantasy quarterbacks so far this season probably went without being selected.

Tampa Bay QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is slinging darts for the Bucs. He was expected to only play the first couple games during QB Jameis Winston’s suspension…but that could change if he stays hot. He has led the Bucs to a 2-0 start with a ton of fantasy production.

The other quarterback is Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes. He had a better chance of being drafted than Fitzpatrick, but if he was taken in your draft, he would have been someone’s QB2. He is putting up insane numbers for the Chiefs.

Will both surprise quarterbacks stay hot this week?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 3 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

2018 NCAA Football – Week 3 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-11 with college football picks against the spread in Week 2.

Betting the second week of the season is much easier after seeing teams play the week before. There is a lot of value in riding a couple teams every week until they fail to cover the spread. Also, it could be time to readjust your own personal rankings.

There are some important games this weekend. Ohio State at TCU is huge in the grand scheme of things. Also, USC at Texas may not factor in the title picture, but it’s always fun when these two teams meet up early in the year.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 3 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (September 15th, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 NFL Week 2 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I started the year off on a good note by going 9-6-1 against the spread in Week 1.

Not only did some teams surprise everyone (Jets & Bucs), but there were some nice underdog moneylines that paid out.

We didn’t get out of Week 1 without dealing with some injuries. RB Leonard Fournette, WR Doug Baldwin and TE Delanie Walker all may miss multiple weeks due to injuries. It’s important to keep an eye on injury reports early in the year. There are some big names on there this week.

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL season.

2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 2

How well did you do in Week 1?

Did any of your sleeper picks turn into gold?

There were some breakout performances by players who had low ownership numbers in Week 1. Some of those numbers occurred due to injuries, but some guys like Bucs WR Chris Godwin, Seahawks TE Will Dissly and Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay almost came out of nowhere.

I hope you took our advice last week and added Steelers RB James Conner and the Ravens defense. Both plays earned a lot of points.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 2 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack.

Will WWE Performance Center Feed the Indies with Talent?

The WWE Performance Center is the most high-tech wrestling training center in the World. The New Japan Dojo and other wrestling schools may have a higher success rate, but WWE has a ton of talent down there, but only a few will reach stardom.

On top of the WWE’s attempt to sign inexperience athletes they can mold into ‘sports entertainers’, they have been signing nearly every available indie wrestling star. Their latest coup was signing indie darlings Matt Riddle and Keith Lee.

NXT television was once a place where young, inexperienced talents could get some exposure and learn on the job, since character development is a huge part of WWE today. Now, NXT television consists of talents who have hundreds of matches under their belt and experience wrestling in front of thousands of fans.

2018 NCAA Football – Week 2 Betting Picks Against Spread

I kicked off the season with a limp. I only went 11-13-1 with my college football gambling picks last week.

I don’t usually bet the first week of college football, but I gave it a go this year. I made some smart plays, but a few teams just pulled their starters too early in blowout games. I missed a few blowout covers by less than a touchdown.

There are some big rivalry games this week. USC at Stanford is an interesting game. You should know each team’s talent by the end of that contest. Can Stanford RB Bryce Love brush off a rough start to the season?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 2 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (September 8th, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 NFL Week 1 – Betting Picks Against Spread

Were you one of those guys who bet on NFL preseason games?

I get it. You were excited to wager on football again and just jumped the gun a little. It’s now time to bet on some games that count!

We had a pretty good year betting on NFL games last year. We went 144-115-16 and hit on a few underdog moneylines to come out in the black for the season.

There are a ton of new quarterbacks making their first starts for their new teams this weekend. Veteran quarterbacks like Kirk Cousins, Alex Smith and Sam Bradford hope to lead their new teams to successful seasons. Also, quarterbacks Andrew Luck, Deshaun Watson and Ryan Tannehill return from injuries. Which quarterback will make the biggest impact in Week 1?

We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season.

2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 1

It’s now time to see how well you did in your fantasy draft.

Will your sleeper pay off Week 1?

Was drafting a running back in the first round a mistake?

A strong Week 1 is good, but you can bounce back from it. There’s a chance the waiver wire could be your friend before Week 2…because there will always be those Week 1 studs that will go from 5% ownership to 90% by the second game.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our strange MS Paint masterpiece of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Betting Picks: 2018 NFL Over/Under Season Wins

We are just a few days away from the start of the 2018 NFL regular season. This is the very last minute to start thinking about possible bets for over/under regular season team wins. I wanted to wait until all the ‘this guy will miss the season due to an injury that occurred in a game that doesn’t count’ announcements. Also, it was helpful to know that Buffalo is already punting the season by naming Nathan Peterman as the starting quarterback.

We didn’t just look at the lines and guess at our over/under picks. We went through the entire schedule in the NFL and picked every game.

A lot can happen from now until the end of the season (injuries, coaching changes, etc). We will attempt to help you make a better decision on which teams to lay bets on.

Betting Picks: 2018 College Football Over/Under Season Wins

The 2018-19 NCAA football regular season kicks off this week and there are a lot of sleeper buzz around many teams this year.

There an abnormally large numbers of major programs change head coaches this offseason. Jimbo Fisher is now at Texas A&M, Chip Kelly is at UCLA, Willie Taggart is at Florida State, etc…will any of these experienced coaches make huge Year 1 improvements?

I’ve been working on these picks for quite awhile. I underestimated the amount of time these picks would take. I penciled in two days to really tackle these, but it ended up taking six days. I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to picking over/under totals…and a stomach bug didn’t help.

There are a lot of even win totals, so if I pick ‘PUSH’, it’s mostly just advising you to avoid betting on this team, since the win total will most likely be the real win total. I don’t want you to basically loan your betting site x-amount of dollars just to get back the same amount in early-December.

2018 NCAA Football – Week 1 Betting Picks Against Spread

I rarely do Week 1 college football gambling picks, but I feel like I’ve done so much research, it’s time I do it this year.

The reason I rarely do Week 1 college football picks is because I like a little more information. I can see how teams do and a lot of college coaches like to wait until the last minute to officially name a starting QB (I’m looking at you UCLA & Alabama). Teams can vary so much in college that there’s a lot of risk in Week 1…but on the other hand, if you’re prepared, there’s also a lot of value in betting heavy in the first two weeks of the season.

There are some big games this week as Notre Dame, Florida State, Auburn, Washington and Michigan all face tough opponents to start the season.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick 25 college football games against the spread in Week 1 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (September 1st, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 College Football: All-Name Team

It’s that time of the year, again!

What makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We went through ever single name and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so of all the people who can write a post poking fun at names, it’s me. I’m always asked if my real name is Robert Roberts (it’s not) or if my name is fake (it’s not).

Here is the 2018-19 college football All-Name team.
