2024 NCAA Football – Week 8 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread in Week 7 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I was able to edge out a win for the week and profited thanks to a couple moneyline plays (my parlays weren’t as lucky).

The SEC appears to be in a state of flux with Vanderbilt knocking off Alabama and Kentucky. The Commodores haven’t been remotely good in well over a decade. The conference no longer has a consistent doormat to beat up on this year.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 12-12-1 against the spread in Week 6 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I wouldn’t normally be too happy with a .500 record after a weekend of college football games, but I feel like I dodged many bullets. There were so many outright upset wins last weekend. I’m thankful that I decided to skip picking the Alabama/Vanderbilt game. If you predicted that outcome, you need to buy some lottery tickets with your earnings.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread in Week 5 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

We don’t have a huge marquee games this week like Alabama vs Georgia, but I think the schedule has a depth of very good games on the schedule.

We have some notable Big Ten match-ups this week with Iowa travelling to Ohio State and Michigan flies out West to face Washington.

I went 13-12 against the spread in Week 2 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I apologize for not having my picks up by mid-week, but I’ve been a busy bee this week.

We have quite a few local rivalry games on the schedule, and the outcomes can be a bit unpredictable in those sort of games.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had another middle-of-the-road week with a 12-13 record in Week 12. 

I am a bit tardy in posting my college football picks this week. I forgot that a handful of Friday games were taking place, but I am posting it at around 3pm, so I added the Oregon State/Oregon pick in the post.

This should be a fun weekend of games and I’m curious to see if any brawls will happen before, during or after the Ohio State/Michigan game.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had a rough outing with a 10-13-2 record. 

The early games really bent me over, but I was able to not make this a complete disaster with a sweep of a half-dozen late-Saturday night games.

We have some important games on the schedule this week. Michigan versus Penn State will get the most oxygen, but I would point out that the Tennessee/Missouri and Mississippi/Georgia contests could transform the eventual College Football Playoff race more. Ole Miss and Missouri are both very underrated teams.

2022-23 College Basketball – All-Name Team

We haven’t lost a ton of guys off of last year’s list due to the extra year of eligibility many guys are taking advantage of, so we will have some fifth (or even sixth) year guys soon.

We picked through every Division-I college basketball roster and a few smaller schools for our list. This year’s class is strong and is a better version of last year’s All-Name Team.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so I am often jealous of people with unique names. The most unique thing about my name is that I was not born ‘Robert Roberts’, Bobby is my given name. I don’t know too many grown men named Bobby.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 9 of the college football season.

The biggest game of the week could be the most important game of the entire season. Tennessee travels to Georgia this week and the winner will be in the driver’s seat for the SEC East spot in the conference championship game.

2022 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 8 of the college football season.

There are a couple huge SEC games this week. Georgia faces Florida in a neutral site game in Jacksonville, and Kentucky travels to Tennessee. Those games will extra interesting because Tennessee and Georgia play each other next week. Could we see a couple trap games?

2022 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I went 13-12 against the spread during Week 6 of the college football season.

We have some huge games on the schedule this week. Alabama hopes to have QB Bryce Young back this weekend as they travel to face Tennessee. The Volunteers are playing as good as any team in the country. I can’t wait to watch that game on Saturday.

2022 College Football: All-Name Team

This is one of my favorite posts to do every year, but due to all the knowns about the college football season at this point last year, we didn’t compile a list. We are happy to bring this back this year and debut some new names.

What makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We went through ever single name and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

2021 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 17-8 against the spread last week.

I had my best betting week of the college football season. I started the season with a couple rough-to-average weeks, but have been racking up wins more down the stretch.

The Big Ten has some big games this week. Michigan at Michigan State, Penn State at Ohio State and Iowa at Wisconsin are all must-watch games.

I’m keeping an eye on Florida State at Clemson. It’s a must-win for Clemson as they’re struggling right now. I think Florida State has a shot at the upset.
