2016 NCAA Football – Week 1 Betting Picks Against Spread

Who else is ready for some college football?!

We have hit on nearly 60% of games we’ve picked since I started a running total back in 2013. I hope to stay hot this season.

Week 1 is where knowledge, and a little luck, can make or break you. There will be a few big upsets and a marquee player or two will fall to injury. You just want to survive Week 1 in order to get a lot of information for Week 2, where I have historically found value.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick against the spread for all the big college football games on Saturday (September 3rd, 2016) and a few Thursday games. We picked five extra games this week since there isn’t NFL games this weekend. Enjoy!

2015 March Madness: #11 Seed Play-In Game – BYU vs Ole Miss

This is the final play-in game we will preview for the 2015 NCAA Tournament. BYU will have their hands full with Ole Miss.

BYU squeaked into the Big Dance and we are all better for it. BYU brings the kind of offense that can bring mayhem into a game. Their defense tends to be more swiss cheese-like, but let’s just focus on the offense right now.

Ole Miss isn’t your ordinary play-in game team either. They probably would have been a much higher seed if not for the last three weeks of the season. Their best ‘marquee win’ wasn’t even a win. They forced Kentucky into overtime back in January. That’s better than most real marquee wins this season.

2014 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

I felt pretty good about going 11-8-1 last week. I called a few nice upsets and missed a couple by a single point. My glaring mistake was picking against TCU (oops). My record is now 85-71-3 on the season.

I haven’t heard much about the weather being a huge issue this weekend. It is supposed to be the 40’s in the Midwest, so if any Southern teams have to do some traveling, it could be a shock to their system, but it’s nothing that would deter production.

We were 134-79-8 against the spread betting on college football games last season. We hope to keep it going and help you guys out again this season.

2014 NCAA Football – Week 9 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week was up and down. You had a handful of games that didn’t live up to the billing (Bama/A&M & UK/LSU) mixed with some out-of-nowhere upsets (UNC/GA Tech). I went 10-10 and now sit at 74-63-2 on the season.

The weather is becoming colder and weather reports are becoming more and more important with each following week. Also, look at teams who faced the same team.

2014 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

Week 6 was insane. I was glad to come out of that week alive with an 11-9 record. I am now currently 53-44-2 on the season.

After many of the top teams were beaten, you should be able to find some favorable lines. Good teams can have a bad week. It’s our job to try to figure out if a team just had a hiccup or if they were exposed.

After this week, you should have a better idea which teams are legit. Many of the top teams face each other again, so after the dust settles, we should know which SEC and Pac-12 teams are contenders.
