2016 March Madness: #8 St. Joseph’s vs #9 Cincinnati

Isaiah-Miles-saint-josephs-2016-march-madness-ncaa-tournamentWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat Nancy in accounting this year.

The Atlantic 10 conference was better than expected this year. All the best teams in the division made the tournament and had their share of upsets early in the season.

The American Athletic Conference wasn’t as strong. Teams beat up on each other in-conference and they all came out of the year a bit hobbled. I think at least one too many teams from the conference made it into the field of 68 this year.

Can Cincy force St. Joseph’s to turn the ball over?

Who do you think will win? We help you fill out your bracket.

2015 NCAA Football – Week 2 Betting Picks Against Spread

funny fan america's white boy ncaa college football picks against the spread week 2 sweetbobSorry I didn’t post a ‘college football picks against the spread’ post last week. I never bet on the first week of college football. It’s too risky and honestly, a lot of it is just dumb luck. You don’t get a preseason to watch the teams and it’s a crapshoot. I like going into a ‘betting season’ with more knowledge than just what comes in a media guide.

I’ve been making college football picks against the spread for the last five or six years. I’ve only been keeping a running total the last two years. I am 282-197-12 during that time.

I’ve been on a hot streak the last two years. Any year in which you have a 60%+ success rate on your bets. it is a successful year. I hope I helped you guys out.

We pick against the spread for all the big college football games on Saturday (September 12th, 2015), and pick some smaller conference games as well. Enjoy!

2015 March Madness: #8 Cincinnati vs #9 Purdue

This is the first of many NCAA Tournament games we are picking to help you fill out your bracket.

The Big Ten was the arguably the strongest conference from top to bottom in the country. They have seven teams representing them in the 2015 NCAA Tournament. Purdue was a bubble team and I strongly believe they deserved a spot in the Big Dance.

The American Athletic Conference wasn’t as strong, but Cincinnati made it through the season with a lot of adversity.

Can Cincinnati score enough points to win games in the NCAA Tournament?

How will Purdue handle Cincinnati’s elite perimeter defense?

Who do you think will win? We help you fill out your bracket.

2014 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I (once again) went 12-7-1 with last week’s college football picks against the spread. Even though I had a few close misses, I felt like I made smart plays. I am currently 42-35-2 on the season.

You will have some issues picking teams this week. There are a lot of road teams with favorable point spreads. I advise you to tread lightly, since this is part of the season in which weird things happen.

The Pac-12 and the SEC are proving themselves to be the top conferences in college football. On the other side of the coin, the Big Ten is imploding before our eyes. It’s already been an exciting season.

We were 134-79-8 against the spread betting on college football games last season. We hope to keep it going and help you guys out again this season.

We pick against the spread for all the big college football games on Saturday (October 4th, 2014), and picked some smaller conference games as well. Enjoy!

2014 College Football: All-Name Team

Barry Sanders Jr Stanford Cardinal 2014 College Football All-Name TeamThe college football season kicks off tonight…but it doesn’t officially start until we post our yearly all-name team.

We went through all the teams in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We read every name and picked out the ones that were funny and names we just wish we had.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so of all the people who can write a post poking fun at names, it’s me. I’m always asked if my real name is Robert Roberts (it’s not) or if my name is fake.

Here is the 2014-15 college football All-Name team.

2014 March Madness: #5 Cincinnati vs #12 Harvard

Harvard Crimson 2014 NCAA Tournament Tommy AmakerWe are picking every NCAA Tournament game in an effort to help you fill out your bracket and win your office pool.

The Cincinnati Bearcats overachieved this season and won a shared of the American Athletic Conference regular season title. They didn’t fare well in the conference tournament and lost to UConn.

Harvard made it to the Big Dance again and are looking to repeat last year’s success. They upset New Mexico and ruined many brackets. Can Harvard do it again?

Who do you think will win? We help you fill out your bracket.
