2021 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 9

We saw some head-scratching performances last week. Who would have thought Jets backup QB Mike White would put up Madden-like numbers against the Bengals?

The Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Football Team are all out on bye this week.

There were a few major injuries last week that could have affected your fantasy team. You might be looking to replace Titans RB Derrick Henry or Raiders WR Henry Ruggs going forward.

Will Titans RB Adrian Peterson be worth a waive wire pickup?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers.

2020 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 2

Since we didn’t have any preseason games, we really had to watch the Week 1 games to really see the rank and file of all the players. We now know where some of these players fall in their teams offensive plans. There are a few former elite players that may find themselves on the waiver wire soon.

There was a game of musical chairs this offseason and there are a ton of new starting quarterbacks around the league.

Can Tampa Bay QB Tom Brady (that’s still strange to type) start the season off strong against  New Orleans?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

Matt Ryan dottedDid you make the Super Bowl in your fantasy playoffs?

You are definitely one lucky guy if you made it to the championship game this season. There have been so many backup QBs and just oddball injuries to star fantasy players.

It’s always fun to go back to your fantasy draft this time of the year and look to see where certain players were drafted. There’s a chance that three or four players on your roster weren’t even drafted at all. It’s definitely been an odd year, but it’s been fun.

Can the Cleveland Browns stop QB Lamar Jackson or will his fantasy owners cruise to a championship?

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 15

Baker Mayfield late 2019 dottedAfter the first week of the playoffs, are you in a good position or do you need a miracle to come back from a large deficit?

If you’re in a good position, I wouldn’t tweak your roster much this week unless one of your starters has a difficult match-up. If you’re losing headed into this week, it could be time for a hail mary. Could it be time for a complete roster overhaul or will a small roster tweak be the answer to your prayers.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 15 of the 2019 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Baker Mayfield of the Cleveland Browns

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 7

The Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers are out on bye this week.

The teams on bye aren’t filled with a ton of must-start players in fantasy, but you could have a flex spot open, or at most, you may need a wide receiver or two.

Now that we have a good chunk of games under our belt, there’s more and more information out there to help you make better, more informed decisions to build your lineups.

How will Titans QB Ryan Tannehill fare in his first start?

2019 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 3

Mason Rudolph dottedThe flu was brutal this year. I made it out the other side and ready to make this week’s fantasy football sit/start picks for Week 3.

Chances are that you may have a different quarterback starting this week than the one you drafted a couple weeks ago. Injuries and overall inefficiency has turned the position into one of the most added/dropped in all leagues.

Are you in the market for a new starting quarterback? Should you go with Mason Rudolph, Daniel Jones or Gardner Minshew in Week 3?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 3 of the 2019 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Mason Rudolph of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 7

Rookie running backs are making a huge impact on NFL teams this year. It’s almost like they collectively got together and decided that enough was enough. They had to do something to get future running backs taken high in the NFL Draft again.

Miami and Houston are the only two teams on bye. You may need to fill a hole in your roster left by QBs Deshaun Watson and Matthew Stafford or WR DeAndre Hopkins…a long-term replacement for injured Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 7 of the 2017 NFL season…and enjoy our weird fabulous MS Paint masterpiece of Chargers RB Melvin Gordon.

I want to explain what I mean by “sit” and “start.” Of course you are going to start some of the guys i say to bench this week, because you probably used high draft picks or a lot of money in an auction for them. My ‘sit’ players are guys I am just not completely sold that they will have good weeks. If you have a guy that you are on the fence about, maybe this will help you pick between the players.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 6

We all survived the first week of bye weeks, but unfortunately, there are many more weeks of it to come. A few of my teams were rocked last week, but I don’t have to worry about bye weeks much going forward. I guess that’s a huge plus after struggling to fill my rosters last week.

Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas and Seattle are taking the week off. I’ve had a couple fantasy teams decimated from byes since I have TE Jordan Reed, RB Chris Thompson, WR Julio Jones and RB Devonta Freeman on multiple teams.

What should we expect from Jacksonville RB Leonard Fournette? His final numbers last week were insane, but he struggled for the first three quarters. Did he have a lucky quarter or will he have another crazy fantasy week?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 6 of the 2017 NFL season…and enjoy our odd amazing MS Paint masterpiece of Fournette.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 4

Week 4 is the last week before the dreaded bye weeks hit our fantasy teams. I feel that there are enough guys on the waiver wire worth streaming if you get into a pickle. There are a lot of timeshares that you could get lucky and pick a guy who ends up in the end zone.

There were plenty of upsets last week, so it made for an interesting fantasy week. Players like QB Case Keenum, WR Sterling Shepard and RB Chris Thompson were near the top of the scoring leaders in Week 3.

Will the backfield logjam in Washington, Seattle and Baltimore get straightened out this weekend?

Will the Jaguars bring their offense back from London or will that luggage item be lost against the Jets?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 4 of the 2017 NFL season.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 3

It’s only Week 3, but many fantasy teams are already in midseason form…injured with the dubious ‘questionable’ tag attached to at least one player. Even though the NFL has all but eliminated ‘probable’ in hopes of less last-minute injury decisions, it just can’t be prevented.

One of the biggest injuries to occur last weekend was when Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen broke a bone in his foot. He will be out for at least two months while he heals. Rookie RB Christian McCaffrey will benefit from more targets. QB Cam Newton needs a new reliable target and he could be that guy for short range dump passes.

Did you pick up any sleepers this week that will hope to pay off?

Who will emerge from Seattle’s crowded backfield this week?

We help navigate the many decisions you need to make going into the second week of fantasy football.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 3 of the 2017 NFL season.

2017 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 2

I hit on some really nice suggestions last week. I was one of the few people out there to scream the praises of Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp. He was a stud at Eastern Washington and brought his tight routes and sticky hands to the NFL.

I hope Mr. Kupp enjoys my amazing awkward MS Paint sKiLLz.

Did the sleepers you drafted pay off Week 1? Did you already dump those guys?

Who will takeover for injured Arizona RB David Johnson and Jacksonville WR Allen Robinson?

We help navigate the many decisions you need to make going into the second week of fantasy football.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 2 of the 2017 NFL season.

2016 Fantasy Football Rankings – Top 50 Running Backs

funny todd gurley los angeles rams nfl 2016 fantasy football rankings running backsIt’s hard to believe that in just a few short weeks, it will officially be acceptable to wear hoodies in public. I love hoodies, but there’s something freakish about seeing a guy in July wearing one.

The running back position isn’t as deep as quarterback, but you should be able to find some good value late in the draft…but if you want a ‘workhorse’ running back, the pickings are slim.

Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles has been at the top of fantasy rankings the last handful of years. There are a few new names near the top this season, with one second-year running back sitting atop our rankings this season.

Here are our top 50 running backs for the 2016 fantasy football season.
