As far as American sports go, there isn’t really one that’s more famous than baseball. It has become known as the ‘national pastime‘ and has been around for hundreds of years – it is said to have originated just before the American Civil War, where it was originally the game of rounders. As rounder developed into the game of cricket for the British, the Americans took the classic game and with it, baseball was born. Now, it is a sport played all over the country at many different levels, and it is loved and adored by people of all kinds of backgrounds. If you are someone who has been thinking about playing baseball, good for you! Anything that gets you fit and moving is something to be celebrated, and the friendships you can make from a team sport like baseball are very valuable. UCLA Basketball Recruit Scores 92 in High School Game
LaMelo Bell, a sophomore at Chino Hills HS (California), put up 92 points in a regulation high school basketball game tonight. His older brother LiAngelo, who is a senior, sat on the bench while resting up before the playoffs start. Both are expected to eventually take the same path as their older brother Lonzo, who is currently lighting up college basketball at UCLA.
LaMelo took 61 shots tonight and was a beast close to the rim. He did hit seven three-pointers, but the bulk of his points came close in Chino Hills’ uptempo, fast break offense.
Chino Hills had a 60-game winning streak before losing to powerhouse Oak Hill. Their next game following the loss was against Los Osos tonight, so Ball took his anger out on them and won the game 146-123.
Super Bowl 51 – Betting Picks Against Spread & Prop Bets
I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.
I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.
Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the vig isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.
I picked out some of the most popular (and the most absurd) prop bets for Super Bowl 51. We also pick the game against the spread.

We’ve written over a dozen ‘Sports Crush’ posts since we launched AmericasWhiteBoy.com. We have spotlighted a ton of WWE Divas (Becky Lynch, Lana, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Emmalina and others). The response has been fantastic, so we decided to profile a WWE women’s superstar, who is currently in NXT, Liv Mogan.
Morgan, whose real name is Gionna Daddio, signed with WWE in 2014 after years of being a competitive cheerleader and Hooters girl.
She made her NXT television debut in the Summer of 2015 after only a year at developmental, which is pretty fast these days for those without any previous wrestling experience.
The women talent down at NXT is a little thin, so I expect a lot more television time for Liv Morgan in the near future.

If you live in the United States, you may be having trouble getting your mind off politics. There is a lot of stuff going on in the news everyday and nearly every headline makes a person blood boil. I try to avoid talking politics on this site, but I think we all knows what (and who) I’m talking about.
While you’re out there protesting and showing a certain portion of the population that we are still here, here’s some new music to keep up your spirits.
I always keep an ear out for new music. I love discovering new bands/songs, it’s a habit from my days as a music journalist. Even though this is mostly a sports blog, I still add quite a bit of music and pop culture content. Keep sending me tracks via email or Twitter.

Have the Pacers Finally Found Their Starting Five?
The Indiana Pacers have won four-straight games after defeating their former head coach at Orlando 98-88. They are now 26-22 and sit as the sixth-best team in the Eastern Conference.
The Pacers started out the year with a starting five of Paul George, Myles Turner, Jeff Teague, Thaddeus Young and Monta Ellis. The lineup didn’t change much the first two months, but Ellis went down with an injury. Glenn Robinson III took over his spot in the starting rotation and flourished in that role.
The Pacers eventually went on a losing skid with Robinson in the starting five, so Indiana turned to C.J. Miles. He has done well in the past when leaned on to start games. He has done the job during their winning streak.

Seth Rollins Re-Injures Knee, Could Miss Wrestlemania
Seth Rollins has been one of the major players in WWE since debuting on the main roster in The Shield faction in 2012. He followed his run in the group with a WWE ‘Money In Bank’ win and then cashed in his briefcase at Wrestlemania 31 in the middle of the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns main event.
Rollins was the champ for over six months, but he blew out his ACL during a November European tour. He had to forfeit the WWE Championship and was on the shelf for quite awhile. He had to miss Wrestlemania 32 due to the injury and didn’t come back until May 22nd at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
WWE has been teasing a Rollins vs. Triple H match for nearly six months. The possible Wrestlemania 33 match is now in jeopardy after Rollins legitimately re-injured his surgically-repaired knee on Monday Night Raw.
2017 College Football Signing Day: All-Name Team
We have made lists of great names in college basketball and football over the years. We even once made an all-name team list for the MLB Amateur Draft.
I was planning on doing the same for college football signing day, but nothing will ever top Kobe Buffalomeat…so he’s the only name on the list.
2017 NFL Conference Championship Games – Betting Picks Against Spread
I ended up going .500 against the spread and over/unders last week. I was burned by Seattle and many of the overs hit. I wasn’t as bullish on the scoring, just like this week.
Both conference championship games are rematches from games in late-October. All four teams were without at least one major player in those games. Heck, Ben Roethlisberger didn’t even play in their loss at home to the Patriots.

Three Players Elected Into Baseball Hall of Fame
The Baseball Writers’ Association of America revealed the results of their Hall of Fame vote this afternoon. Three former MLB players earned induction into this year’s Hall of Fame class.
Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines and Ivan Rodriguez received more than the 75% threshold to earn induction. Bagwell and Raines have been on the ballot for quite awhile, but Pudge earned his election on his first time on the ballot.
There were plenty of players that fell short of the 75% threshold and one player surprised most people by falling short of receiving 5% of the vote to stay on the ballot.
2017 NFL Divisional Playoff Games – Betting Picks Against Spread
Your boy had a rough Wild Card Weekend. I missed a two over/unders by just a few points and really had a rough Sunday. I usually kill it in the postseason, so hopefully it was just an off week.
All four games this weekend are rematches from games early in the season. Don’t get too hung up on the outcomes from those games since all the games took place in September and October. Many impact players like Tom Brady and Dez Bryant didn’t even play in those contests.
