5 Hacks To Creating The Perfect Party

Love and admiration is something we all yearn for. To win people over, some tell jokes, others listen attentively, while some -possibly the coolest- throw unforgettable parties.

Whether it’s a birthday party, a bar mitzvah, a Christmas dinner, or a pool party, the planning phase can be daunting, especially if perfectionism gets the best of you.

To cut through the chase, here are five tricks that are bound to give your party right about the unforgettable edge it needs:

  • Give Your Party Identity

Picking a theme for your party is a great way to help you dress it up in music, food, and decorations. A theme could be as simple as a color scheme or a more comprehensive story that is reflected in everything your guests encounter and experience from the moment they walk into the party.

Are Free Bets Legal?

It’s always interesting to see how much some humans enjoy the exhilaration of the unknown. For some reason, not knowing the outcome of something excites plenty of people and gives them a rush of a lifetime. Maybe that’s why betting is so much fun for many; they enjoy that feeling of staking your money on something without knowing the outcome. There’s a certain risk to it that all adrenaline junkies seek with their heart and soul. Of course, it doesn’t hurt either that you get to make the occasional buck out of being right, every now and then. For all its excitement, betting can turn sour if you start digging into that pension fund or college tuition fund for the kids. This is why many bookies resort to offering free bets for their clientele every now and then, but what exactly are they?

2018 NFL Week 15 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-8 against the spread last week.

I may have went .500 last week, but I did personally benefit from Raiders and Dolphins moneyline bets. I didn’t bet a ton on those underdog moneylines, but it put me in the black for the weekend.

It’s time to start figuring out if a team still has anything left to play for this season. All the potential playoff teams haven’t clinched a specific seed yet, so there aren’t any that are resting their guys (but it could happen next week).

Also, teams like the Raiders, who will not benefit from a win, are still playing hard (see: last week’s win). Don’t automatically go against a team that you feel is tanking. There are 53 guys on that team still playing for another paycheck next season.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 15 of the 2018 NFL season.

2018 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 15

We are in playoff mode.

I took a week off of writing about fantasy football due to, um, life. I was just so darn busy and had to make a couple long trips during the week. I had no time to sit down and pump out my fantasy suggestions or go in-depth with my NFL betting picks.

I made the postseason in all but one of my leagues this season (I stashed Le’Veon Bell in that failed league). I wish everyone luck as you (hopefully) move into the championship game next week.

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 15 of the 2018 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts.

Harold Baines Just Ruined the Baseball Hall of Fame

The Baseball Hall of Fame Today’s Era Committee announced they voted Relief Pitcher Lee Smith and Outfielder/DH Harold Baines into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Smith was slowly gaining votes, but only received 34% of the votes in his fifteenth and final year on the ballot.

Baines was only on the regular Hall of Fame ballot just a few seasons as he fell under the 5% threshold on his fourth year and only had a max 6.1% of voters in 2010.

I can understand Lee Smith’s legitimacy as a Hall of Fame candidate. He was a reliever that often pitched multiples innings to get saves. The Hall of Fame was late to the game when it came to voting in relievers. He was a member of some good teams and he was a large part in maintaining those wins. He held the title of Most Career Saves for thirteen years, until Trevor Hoffman surpassed him in 2006. Continue reading

2018 NFL Week 14 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 7-8-1 against the spread last week.

I’ve been traveling a lot this week and I haven’t had a ton of time to write up my fantasy football and NFL football picks against the spread. I have done a lot of research, but it has just come down to putting ‘pen to paper’ (or the equivalent of today’s technology).

I was unable to carve enough time to write up a fantasy football post this week, but I at least needed to post my betting picks. I wasn’t able to give any insight into my picks, but I put as much time in the picking the games as usual.

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 14 of the 2018 NFL season.

Sports Crush: Carmella

It’s been awhile since we added to our ‘Sports Crush’ list.

We’ve written over a dozen ‘Sports Crush’ posts since we launched AmericasWhiteBoy.com. We have spotlighted a ton of WWE Divas (Becky Lynch, Mandy RoseSasha BanksAlexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and others). The readers keep viewing those posts, so we will keep delivering new female wrestlers like recent WWE’s Carmella.

Carmella (Leah Van Dale) was a Laker Girl in the NBA and cheerleader for the New England Patriots. She is a second-generation wrestler, as her father was an enhancement talent in the 80’s and 90’s. She made her debut in NXT as the valet for Big Cass and Enzo Amore. She has now outlasted both of those guys and has a prominent role on Smackdown Live.

Check out why we are crushing on Carmella with our picture gallery, and a very special .gif.

2018 NCAA Football – Week 14 Betting Picks Against Spread

I finished 12-12-1 against the spread (again) last week.

This is championship week!

There are a few regular season games being played this week as well due to Hurricanes and wildfires, but this is where the head coaches make their money. They need their players playing the best at the end of the season.

Nearly every team in the College Football Playoff contention are playing this week, could they fall prey to the ‘trap game’ by over-looking this week’s opponent?

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick EVERY college football game against the spread in Week 14 of the 2018-19 NCAA Football season (December 1st, 2018). We also pick some smaller conference games.

2018 NFL Week 13 – Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 8-6-1 against the spread last week.

I was a half-point away from going 3-0 against the spread for the third-straight year. Oh well, I ate a lot of turkey and took a nap during the Redskins/Cowboys game, so all was not lost.

We are back to a full sixteen-game slate through the rest of the season. A lot more writing to do every week and analysis to do, but college football regular season is ending, so it all evens out.

Can Baltimore Ravens rookie QB Lamar Jackson start his career with three-straight wins?

We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 13 of the 2018 NFL season.
