2024 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 12-13 against the spread in Week 11 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

We are in a bit of a lull when it comes to game hype. We don’t have a bunch of rivalry games we will see over the final weeks of the regular season. We are basically see a lot of games between teams finishing out their conference schedule.

The marquee games this week wouldn’t make a blip most weeks, but the Georgia/Tennessee game intrigues me. I also want to see if BYU can stay perfect.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

I got wrecked last week and went 9-15-1 against the spread in Week 10 of the 2024-25 College Football season. It was, by far, my worst performance in many years.

We have a fun slate of games this week. A few of the betting lines left me confused at a glance, but realized that some powerhouses are having down seasons. On the other side of the coin, I was equally shocked to see a single-digit point spread in a Vanderbilt game against another SEC school.

The SEC title picture should be more clear after this week’s slate of games. A few teams will fall out of contention with a loss.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 10 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 9 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

Unlike the NFL, there appears to be a ton of teams out on bye this week. We still have some massive games on the schedule, but it just feels light overall.

Georgia vs Florida and Oregon vs Michigan would normally be ‘championship or bust’ sort of games, but both have double-digit point spreads this year. At least one traditional matchup does have College Football Playoff implications when Ohio State travels to Penn State on Saturday afternoon.

I went 13-11-1 against the spread in Week 8 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I had a massive article planned, but I broke/bruised some ribs Thursday morning, and I’ve been in bed ever since.

I was able to write a little snippet for each marquee game this week, albeit from my phone. I’ll be back with a massive article for next week’s games.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 8 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread in Week 7 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I was able to edge out a win for the week and profited thanks to a couple moneyline plays (my parlays weren’t as lucky).

The SEC appears to be in a state of flux with Vanderbilt knocking off Alabama and Kentucky. The Commodores haven’t been remotely good in well over a decade. The conference no longer has a consistent doormat to beat up on this year.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 7 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 12-12-1 against the spread in Week 6 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

I wouldn’t normally be too happy with a .500 record after a weekend of college football games, but I feel like I dodged many bullets. There were so many outright upset wins last weekend. I’m thankful that I decided to skip picking the Alabama/Vanderbilt game. If you predicted that outcome, you need to buy some lottery tickets with your earnings.

2024 NCAA Football – Week 6 Betting Picks Against Spread

I went 14-10-1 against the spread in Week 5 of the 2024-25 College Football season.

We don’t have a huge marquee games this week like Alabama vs Georgia, but I think the schedule has a depth of very good games on the schedule.

We have some notable Big Ten match-ups this week with Iowa travelling to Ohio State and Michigan flies out West to face Washington.

2024 College Football: All-Name Team

This is one of my favorite posts to do every year, but due to a death in the family last year, I was unable to make a list last season. I found a bunch of fresh names, and some long time favorites.

What makes a great college football name?

A good litmus test is if it works as a potential pro wrestling name, it works in college football. It also works if a name sounds like a verb, phrase, a certain body part or just a bad ass football name that makes them sound tough.

We went through every team in the top two divisions in the NCAA. We went through ever single name and picked out the ones that were funny and some names we just wish we had.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 13 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had another middle-of-the-road week with a 12-13 record in Week 12.

I am a bit tardy in posting my college football picks this week. I forgot that a handful of Friday games were taking place, but I am posting it at around 3pm, so I added the Oregon State/Oregon pick in the post.

This should be a fun weekend of games and I’m curious to see if any brawls will happen before, during or after the Ohio State/Michigan game.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 12 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had another middle-of-the-road week with a 13-12 record in Week 11.

I’ve been streaky when it comes to West Coast teams this season. I started cold, but hit some nice Pac-12 parlays in October. I’m back to being lukewarm again. I hope to end the year strong with a few big games in the conference this weekend.

I would be aware that this week has been notorious for dreaded ‘trap games’ in the past. Many of the teams playing this week will be playing their rivals the next two weeks. On paper, there are some forgettable games on the schedule, but could end up being major if one of the top teams overlooks this week’s opponents.

2023 NCAA Football – Week 11 Betting Picks Against Spread

Last week, I had a rough outing with a 10-13-2 record.

The early games really bent me over, but I was able to not make this a complete disaster with a sweep of a half-dozen late-Saturday night games.

We have some important games on the schedule this week. Michigan versus Penn State will get the most oxygen, but I would point out that the Tennessee/Missouri and Mississippi/Georgia contests could transform the eventual College Football Playoff race more. Ole Miss and Missouri are both very underrated teams.
