Stop Gigging From Ruining Your Health

Going to gigs is a great hobby. Who doesn’t love seeing their idols on stage? There’s nothing quite like the thrill of live music and seeing your favorite band play, but do you ever think about your health when you’re going to gig after gig? It could have an impact on your future.

Stop gigging from ruining your health with the following tips.

Protect your ears

Hearing music live is an incredible feeling, but it’s not always great for your hearing – especially if you prefer to be at the front of the room. While it might not affect you much right now, too many nights of live music could harm your hearing in the future.

There are different things you can do to protect your hearing at a gig, including wearing ear protection. Sweetbob’s Hipster Music Playlist: June 2019

It’s been quite awhile since I compiled a good ole’ music playlist. I was just hammered during the football season and I’ve been focusing on a side gig I’ve been building up since the Winter. It’s going well, but I’ve really been meaning to make an indie music playlist this month.

This playlist was super easy to make as I have a ton of new stuff sitting in a few Spotify and YouTube playlists that I throw songs onto that I want to save. The playlist is definitely a banger this month.

I always keep an ear out for new music. I love discovering new bands/songs, it’s a habit from my days as a music journalist. Even though this is mostly a sports blog, I still add quite a bit of music and pop culture content. Keep sending me tracks via email or Twitter.

If you want to listen to songs that appeared on past playlists, you can listen to our playlist on Spotify or go here to view our past hipster playlists.
